Client question about YCHs!
Posted 5 months agoHow does everyone feel about YCHs where there's multiple slots for one project? As in the pose(s) are reused across multiple people who claim it?
I dont mean things like where it's just a shot of a characters' butt, but more complex/full body poses.
I always thought that there was a lack of uniqueness for the person getting commissions but it also opens it up to more people for First Come First Served issues.
Id love to hear yalls thoughts!

Life Update + Creamery Slots

Life Update
Ive been quiet for the past month or so in terms of streams and general posting; I wanted to be more sure of things before I spoke about it but I attempted to get a part-time job doing stocking. I wanted something to get me out of the house/active, there was union with health benefits, and it was close by so everything seemed great!
Unfortunately my body didnt like going from 0 to 150 in terms of physical activity and there were things about the job that were out of my control that stressed me out. Just as much after training was done I was still given ~32 a week which is more than the maximum I agreed to when I applied/got the position, leaving me physically mentally and emotionally tired as I had no time to even hang out with friends. Part of the uniform also did some damage to my neck muscle as it was pulled on a lot when I lifted boxes + containers. Its getting better-- Im stretching and massaging it, but Im glad I left before it got too bad. Its hard to sit for long periods of time when the pain flairs up.
Now Ive found a better appreciation for my business and finding ways to take care of myself. I started up playing Pokemon Go again so fun!!
Creamery Slots
Later today Ill be putting up a Google Forms link to do Creamery commissions. Itll be open until tomorrow morning. The queue might be a bit longer than the past creamery slots but it'll allow people to get a submission in who might be busy/away/at different time zones. I cant wait to see what everyone submits!

Future of Commissions Notice!
Posted 2 years agoHello everynyan! Some who have come to my page might have noticed my commission page/Forms have an image that says ' Under Construction ' on it, and that is because I am updating some things!
Things that will be updated are:
How to get commissions:
I had done in-stream slots, via forms, and journal slots for a while in whatever way some folks are comfortable with them, usually with forms/journals being larger projects. Recently my demand and my Creamery slots have not had a lot of in-stream opened and honestly when my energy is low in a day I can take the non-in-stream slots at my own pace.
Going forward I will be having commissions through form open majorly; this means updating my form as well.
Form updates:
Aside from your basic options I already have of Black+white or colored image, I will also have a category of 'other' added where you can inquiries to other things such as but not limited to more refined illustrations, comics, icons, ref sheets. Note that those will not have a listed price as they are on a case-by-case basic and must be further discussed in DMs.
Additionally I will have check boxes of addons such as Alternate Versions, Backgrounds, Detail Panels for standard commissions.
Creamery
I noticed the massive amount of love my creamery has received as well as the sadness in folks missing out on slots. Once this batch of creamery is done and I take more I will be opening a special form just for my creamery for 8 hours. This will result with a longer queue most likely but it will also allow people who havent been able to get slots they've wanted to submit for something.
Prices
This is no doubt the thing most people will want to check this journal for and yes, I am raising my prices. I take care of my rent, bills, etc on my own which.. especially with American inflation.. makes things pricey. There are things besides just living Id like too; mainly a legal name change and a cat...eventually a car. But those will come in time as I save.

As always, I appreciate everyone who supports me no matter what. Whether clients, favorites, follows, or just vibing in my stream to watch SVU was I work. I've been here for years and I hope I get to keep being here for many more. Thank you.

I wanted to ask you all your preference on how you'd like to get commissions.
For my own energy and state of mind/focus, it's easiest for me to be able to stream commissions (which is why I have added to my commission terms that I wont post/will leave something anonymous if asked, but must be able to stream commissions)
However I know not everyone is able to make it to streams either as early as I start them ( 10:30AM PST in most cases), which locks out a good amount of people from being able to commission me if they want to.
I dont have the in-stream foot traffic to require raffles for spots so as is it's first come first serve with the exception of those who submit commission forms through Google forms, though it's not often used.
I have some ideas. Would you prefer:
Google forms (seen here: https://forms.gle/KbBgvEr25JYLYyUe6 ), but just think they need to be more obviously announced
or
A monthly journal of slots to take/work on between in-stream slots with the journal being barred from people who are regularly in stream (Mondays and thursdays for in-stream slots, Tuesday and Friday for journal slots)
Comment below which you prefer and if there's an alternate route you might even suggest! Having an email open and available for anyone anytime is essentially the point of the forms which is why I dont have that as an option.
