Lifes pretty good!
Posted 5 years agoSo Im trying to be as happy and comfortable as I can possibly be! Possitive attitude and all that!
Im in a VERY good place right now! I have a fun job, some great friends, a cute doggo and a decent place to live! Things could scarcely be better! I suppose all I need now is someone to spend my time with! But this will come along, Im not actively seeking love, Im just going to make as many friends as I can and let things grow from there!
Im trying to stay out of the current political mess that the worlds in right now! I have learnt to be myself as often as is rodently possible, I have nothing to hide anymore!
I have recently been thinking about comission work and art trades, though I do have a studio to run, so Im not sure how many I can take on in one go, but I am eager to draw stuff and expand my repetoire! If interested do feel free to note me about it! (also if Ive offered work in the past, and not done it, let me know via notes! I have changed a lot over time!)
At the moment though I am in a much more possitive mood than I previousely was, like a weight was lifted from me and dumped unceremoniously into the North sea XD!

The year of the Ratty
Posted 5 years agoHello my furry friends ^v^ a rat has decided its time for an update ^v^ heehee!
So this year has been pretty lovely up til now ^v^. Have now embraced who I am fully, and am now enjoying th freedom I have been so merrily avoiding all these years! I feel invigourated and gleeful ^v^ heehee!
So to start with, I have now informed everyone of my lifestyle! I have regrouped with old friends I greatly appreciated, and have finally decided to throw out a lot of my old black and grey attire for the colourful stuff I am growing acustomed to! I have completely given up on drugs, been honing my artistic skills, working harder in the tattoo studio and trying new things daily! As it stands the only thing I have yet to do now is travel and explore as myself for the first time in over a decade!
Life has finally given me an opportunity to be free and happy, and I am grasping this opportunity with open arms and a happy heart! In this year, the 2020 year of clear vision, and indeed, the year of the rat, a rat has found acceptance and purpose! So its time for me to now appreciate who and what I have become!
So once again, thankyou to the furry community for helping my mental state through this transitional phase ^v^ I love you all very much ^v^!

Chapter 32
Posted 6 years agoSo I have reached 32 years old! The sheer fact that I have survived this long is nothing short of miraculous! Have decided after some late morning revelations that I am most certainly a G rather than a B, and pretty much always have been! I may have wasted my 20's but ill be damned if Im wasting another year pretending to be someone else!
So its probably worth me writing it down! I am gay! Felt oddly satisfying! Considering that I was always like this in the first place! I need to start living again! Im sick of being 6 feet below my own lies, so from now on I am a truth seeker, and truth teller! So just to put it out there! My name is Liam... Im now 32, I am gay, I am a furry, I am pretty feminine and ill do things my own way from now on! So If people I know dont like that, I shall find new people!
So no more hiding behind walls and masks! For fox sake, I have left the tower and need to do some exploring! I wonder what I will find, in this vast unforgiving wilderness! Perhaps Ill find comfort, maybe solitude, there may be everything I want out there, maybe nothing, maybe just a reflection of myself in a pond! Whatever is out there though Im going for it! Only embers now smoulder where vast walls once stood, and I can finally breathe!
So I will now follow this path, even if it should kill me! I shall march beneath the flourescent banner of a green flaming heart! Attempt to bring aid to those that require it, and vengence to those that would hate! My duty is now to this quest for joy, for myself, for those I loved, for those I have yet to meet!
So now Chapter 31 is over. Chapter 32 starts here, and I am both delighted and terrified at the prospect! The looming shadow of the tower is now a mere speck on a much larger horizon! May it remain there, with all the other prison cells and monsters! May it rot with the rest of the evil! NEVER will I return to such a wretched domain! Towards the light I go!

To those struggling with similar problems, it gets easier! Dont lock yourself behind a shameful wall! Burn it to the ground and be free! No one will stop you but yourself!

Sykheins Bizzart Jam

With my 32nd birthday looming, I wanted to start an 'art jam' based on unnusual ideas, to get creative juices flowing!The idea came from a random encounter with Heppi, where we were wondering what a 'praying mantis / bunny ' hybrid would look like! We both went off and drew the idea out, and the results were pretty interesting! See Below:-

I was fascinated by the different paths we took on such a bizzare idea, and got curious as to what other artists would be able to come out with!
The idea would be to post really unnusual prompts, (at least as wierd as I can get them) then compile all the work a week later before posting the next prompt. Theres no creativity limit, everyone would be welcome, and with any joy some marvellous strangeness will ensue! The ideas wont all be hybridisation, (though it was an interesting place to start) and will hopefully be able to test artists outside their usual work.
Now Ill say that it will be SFW kinda stuff, just fun ideas to wrap creative minds around! Just wanted to see if anyone would be interested before the 29th, so I can start a fresh new year of my life with some artistic fun!
To be honest, I might be tempted to do a NSFW one at some point, but I really want to see if I could work out a decent system and get enough artists interested before I go for that kind of magic. XD Im pretty new to this kinda thing, so any advice would also be appreciated ^v^!

Im a happy rat!
Posted 6 years agoBeen a while since I have been this comfortable, so I figured Id finally post an entry here!
So I recently came out as bisexual, after a decade of 'damage control' and was almost immediately brought back here! Needed people to talk to about this stuff and be myself around and finally decided to venture into the forums! Its good to be myself again! Thankyou to all the people on the forum that were incredibley nice to me when I first got here! I owe you all big time!
Anyway, the other reason I wanted to post something was that I wanted to set some kind of 'Art Jam' up with everyone! As of yet im not sure what form this will take, but I will try to work it out in my head! Wanted it to be... varied, to get everyones take on singular ideas. Got the urge to do this from a sort of 'mini art jam' occurred, as we both tried to imagine what a 'mantis-bunny' hybrid would look like! Turns out to be much cuter than I thought!
