Posted 9 years agoHey guys, cotyledon here, or as people on YouTube call me, MineBoom. Yes, I'm back to making content occasionally. I realized that I should use the free time that I still have to make some art, videos and such. Yes, you heard that right: VIDEOS. I started a new YouTube channel called MineBoom, named after the new nickname that I'm gonna be using. I make reviews with my werewolf character named Jack (who fits the description of "our werewolves are different") and some other random vids out of boredom. I WILL REVIEW UNDERTALE EVENTUALLY, DON'T ASK. Also, I'm making a video about the whole fair use issue that everyone's going nuts about right now but Movie Maker is giving me a hard time. (You could say I'm having a bad time, hehe...) Also, it might be a bit too dramatic for your taste. I will be adding a link to my YouTube channel on my account page (and vise versa) soon so you can check it out.
Also, I got a new art style, but it's strictly for traditional art as for digital art I only have a keyboard and mouse to work with and using that to make art is just annoying. The art ends up looking crappy anyway so who gives a crap? (Yes, I say crap now.)

Posted 10 years agoWhat will you use to get to the con?: It depends. No plane rides yet since they're expensive and I've heard about WAY too many plane crashes to even consider it a good time.
Will you bring a fursuit?: I don't own one so no.
Will you be going with anyone?: Yes, but I'm not saying who.
Will you be at any panels?: Meh, I dunno.
How can I recognize you?: I dunno, maybe I'll bring a tag. Also, look for anything Minecraft-related or a guy playing on a 3DS.
Can I hug you?: Feel free! Bonus points if you're in suit, since I like soft things.

Jack's trope list (teaser for a new character)
Posted 10 years agoHere are some tropes that I may use with my new character, Jack the werewolf. The list WILL be updated over time. These are not in order.
Berserk Button: Do NOT call Jack a dumb mutt if you want to keep your dignity and his respect towards you.
Butt Monkey: Might occur outside of FA due to furries being disrespected in the media. May be subverted by turning this disrespect into another berserk button (see above). Bonus points if he's called a dumb mutt in the process.
•Also, Jack likes to tease Cody because he's a cat.
Awesome But Impractical: Jack's triforce tee. He wears it occasionally despite his fur taking up space and applying more heat inside the shirt without a way to release it. Bonus points if he's wearing a sweater, jacket or coat over it.
Big Lipped Alligator Moment: The "wryyy" moment with Herobrine. He could have done something less over the top and random to try to kill Jack!
Your Head A Splode: Might occur if a robot appears and annoys Jack. Bonus points if it blows up in his face.
Running Joke: Jack's friends like to call him a dumb mutt despite knowing that it's his Berserk Button (see above).
Tempting fate: Jack tends to do this a lot in first person shooters.
Don't Explain The Joke: Jack tends to explain his jokes if nobody laughs at first. This just ruins his chance since the audience probably needed time to figure it out.
Blatant Lie: Jack once said he was an other-kin, but everyone knew he was lying because he doesn't feel the need to be a creature that he's not. He is also not spiritually connected to any animal other than the wolf, and you can probably see where I'm going with this.
Art Evolution: Jack started out as a normal CustomNPCs character on Minecraft, but I later added a mouth (as well as angry eyes when they're necessary).

Just, why? Why do people like this (let alone "fap" at it, which I STILL don't know the meaning of), and WHY IS IT EVERYWHERE!? It's on this site, it's occasionally on cartoons, and it's even on Mario games. FREAKING MARIO!!!
Just keep that stuff away from me and I WILL stop complaining.
(P.S. Pooltoys aren't AS wierd but are still unlikable to me.)

MEME RUN!?
Posted 11 years agoI never thought this would happen. So, if you have been up-to-date with Nintendo, you have learned about a game called Meme Run. There was so many criticism for this game, so I decided to play this game.
Well, I wouldn't call the game bad, but I wouldn't call it good either. The gameplay is innovative because their are meme faces and air horns trying to distract you from actually playing. There are even FREAKING COD GUNS!!! Seriously, the game's creators (Ninja Pig Studios) are going to get sued. (I'm not joking, that's their actual company name.)
Now for the bad stuff, and there's LOTS of it. For example, sometimes you'll randomly clip through the floor and get "rekt". Man, part of me wishes I was making that up. Also, there's Illuminati icons EVERYWHERE! This is UNACCEPTABLE. You also need them to get multipliers for your... s-swag points... *goes off and laughs in a corner, then comes back* SWAG POINTS!?
Also, sometimes when you land near a ledge after a jump and try to jump again, you'll just walk off the edge. Also, sometimes you won't slide and be pushed off the screen by a wall. Seriously, If you're looking to make a profit, AT LEAST do some game testing and find the bugs!
One more bad thing. The genre is set to... Wait, hold on... *looks at eShop description and chuckles* ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED!? *laughs histerically* That is the DUMBEST thing I have ever heard! *falls out of chair*

Christmas Eve, Top 5, and other news
Posted 11 years agoFirst of all, It's Christmas Eve, which means tomorrow is christmas! I cannot wait to see what presents I get!
Plus, another thing: I may be doing a top 5 of the best games of 2014. However, it will only be games I've played or watched let's plays of on Youtube.
Also, I'm sorry for not uploading any art for the past few months. I just haven't been inspired to make anything. Also, I had school to deal with, so... Yeah.

New game idea
Posted 11 years agoOkay, I came up with a concept for a game. I call it SkyBots.
1. About the game
A: STORY
An anonymous mech-producing company created a series of fully customizable flying mechs called SkyBots, along with several arenas to use them in. Everyone is invited to test out the SkyBots, even the player.
B: WHAT IS A SKYBOT?
The Aerial Combat Mech, or SkyBot, is a machine built specifically for combat. The creators took major precautions and made the cockpit fully indestructible. If the outer body takes damage, the cockpit will automatically make it re-materialize. The mechs contain 6 weapons, 5 of which are gained with pickups, with the first weapon being the dual blasters, which are all-rounders.
2. Game Elements
A: Pickups
There are five pickups.
The first pickup is the spread blaster, which does what you think it would do: fire shots in 3 directions.
The second pickup is the machine gun. The bullets don't do much seperately, but it fires insanely fast.
The third pickup is the rifle. When it's active, a red line will appear where you're aiming. Use this red line to snipe your opponents and gain an advantage. Also, you get 2 points for a shot to the engine.
The fourth pickup is the rocket. This is a secondary weapon and can only be used once. It will target your opponents and destroy their SkyBot on impact (excluding the cockpit).
The 5th and last pickup is a triple rocket. It's similar to the normal rocket, but you can use it 3 times.
B: CONTROLS
WASD: move
LEFT CLICK: primary weapon
RIGHT CLICK: secondary weapon
Q+E keys: select weapon
SHIFT (hold): crouch
SPACE: jump
C: MODES
Mode 1: Deathmatch
It's an all-out brawl! Try to get the most points!
Mode 2: Capture The Flag
Get the enemy flag and return it to your base.
Mode 3: Team Battle
Just like deathmatch, except with teams.

It has come to my attention that a certain episode of game theory (I'M LOOKING AT YOU, DIG DUG) displayed an insane amount of a certain fetish (if you watched the episode, you know where I'm going) which I've been trying to avoid (yet miserably fail at it) and it ANNOYS ME how LITTLE people are upset about this. At least warn us BEFORE we see that stuff! I absolutely HATE this, PERIOD. I WILL NOT mention this ANY MORE because it makes me, for lack of a better word, *ahem* wet my pants.
I USED to like this until the *ahem* "incident", and NO LONGER has ANY interest in it. Also, for those who run FA... Can you please make it to where we can set a search to AVOID certain keywords AND find the specified art? Just asking, I've been getting unwanted fetishes in the search results while I search for stuff that's COMPLETELY UNRELATED.

ACCOUNT UPDATE - Nintendo Smash Fest + more
Posted 11 years ago I will be at Best Buy this afternoon for Nintendo Smash Fest, it should be lots of fun.
Also, I am currently working on a 16-bit animation called "You're It" based on the car scene from Dumb and Dumber. I know, I said I would be doing 16-bit ARTS, not 16-bit animations, but this will only be a one-time thing and it should be done within the next 2 months or so.

Posted 11 years agoI have confirmed the music that will be used in Cody's Roller Rush. The music is going to be Chaoz Airflow by ParagonX9. His music just can't be "beat"! Ha ha, get it?

Posted 11 years agoI'm currently looking for someone to do the coding and technical stuff and put all the sprites + music where they need to go. Here's a list of stuff that you should know:
1: You MUST have at least 2 years of experience with flash game creation.
2: You must submit the game to FA and give credit to me for making the sprites and choosing the music.
3: I haven't chosen a good song yet, but I can tell you that there's about a 75% chance that I'll pick one by ParagonX9, most likely Chaoz Airflow.
4: This will be uploaded to NG as well once I download it from its page.
5: The stuff required will be uploaded in a later journal.
6: The game will be an endless runner and will feature arrow-keys-and-spacebar controls (with the arrows moving Cody, and spacebar activating his gun), coins, and a shop where you buy upgrades with coins.
Feel like you're ready? Then notify me in the comments and let me know!
(EDIT: About the gun, it can only be used after being upgraded at least once. Sorry for the inconvenience!

2014 New Year notes & development notice

To start off here are some things I'm looking foward to this year:
#1 has to be SSB for 3DS. They're adding freaking Megaman!
#2 is The Lego Movie. I love the idea and can't wait to see it in theaters.
#3 is Professor Layton Vs. Ace Attorney. I'm sure it'll be amazing.
And here is something new I'm announcing:
I am currently developing sprites for a game called Cody's Roller Rush. It's basically a runner game where you have to help my fursona, Cody, ride to his first fur con using his roller skates while he's dodging traffic. There will be upgrades, which will be announced in further development. I am looking for someone who is good with coding, sprite-importing, and music-importing. Only one user will be chosen for this. Please post a comment about this or send me a PM if you want to help, either one works.

I really think that movie was worth doing. It tells people that bullying is not being self-trustworthy and should not be done. Anybody agree?

weekly report for August 9, 2013
Posted 12 years agoI am currently working on a ROBLOX Gone Crazy (featuring my own ROBLOX character) but it'll take a long while due to school and everything. I'll be busy almost every day doing something else, but hopefully I'll get it done before my birthday. For now, I wanna let you know that it'll be a zip file download from Mediafire. If you don't know what mediafire is, go to www.mediafire.com to learn more. Also, guess what? I just got my deviated septum fixed. I was freaking out at first, but once I fell asleep I didn't even mind it anymore. I wonder what exactly they did to fix it... And to whoever mentioned when we were there that I'm not getting anything except nasal spray: REAL SMOOTH, DUMMY! Also, I am currently open for commissions paid with 3ds Prepaid cards!

You may ask any questions as long as it's a kid-appropriate (for the youngsters) and non-personal (no asking for email, password, address, etc.) question. Also, for all the noobs and trolls in the world, please no stupid questions, ESPECIALLY as a personal message because I absolutely WILL NOT reply to that kind of personal message WHATSOEVER.

Posted 12 years agoI am now open for commissions! Each commission will be for a virtual bundle of the Super Alexia 64 Beta rom and the Project 64 Emulator and will cost one 30 USD Nintendo Prepaid Card (for Nintendo eShop).
payment instructions:
1. Buy a Nintendo Prepaid Card (for Nintendo eShop)
2. Send me a private message telling me the card's code
3. receive the download link in the form of a private message response, click the link and hit "download"
4. Open Project 64
5. Click "file" and then click "Open rom"
6. The game should start up immediately. If it does not, move to step 7. If it does, DO NOT move to step 7.
7. Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5
8. If the game STILL doesn't work, pm me about it.
Also, a free copy will be given to Alexia himself for these reasons:
1. I think it's appropriate to give someone a free copy of a game about them.
2. Alexia is my friend.
3. I absolutely LOVE how detailed his art and flashes are, and he's greatly improved, therefore I am proud of him.
