FurAffinity was right after the cut-off of my bookmarks toolbar. I moved it one over so I'm probably fine now. Literally out-of-sight out-of-mind. The site redesign is pretty nice, though I will miss "DeviantArt circa 2004"

I'm super obsessive about trying to make sure that both my client and myself are getting a fair price. I've been working for a long-term client and I forgot to include meetings into my price (and hadn't had a meeting with them so I didn't know how exhaustive the changes for this project were going to be), but also my commission prices were done under the impression that people would want a million little changes, which hasn't been the case so far.
The result is that on this long-term thing I've been kind of hanging back and not doing anything until I need to/feel like doing it, and I'm way ahead so there are months where I don't do anything, and for commissions, I keep telling people my price and get ghosted, because my prices were a too high. I'm think it's figured out though.

I dunno, I'm still figuring this whole thing out. I've mostly had industry work until now.

I probably should have asked this years ago but how important is it that I acknowledge people who've followed me? I go to everyone's profile who follows me, and often their shouts are mostly people thanking them for a follow, but I don't know if that's just an optional bit of decorum or something I'm supposed to do?

I'm a little bummed that I can't seem to figure out how to get Gifs and their thumbnails to display in a friendly way on this website. Also kind of shocked there isn't an "animation" category. I've been putting everything under "anime," which doesn't seem right. I suppose it's less weird than Weasyl not having a comic category.

I've done it on Tumblr, and I'm kind of curious how it'd go here, so we'll just try it? I'm gonna take a handful of requests for FurAffinity. Leave the requests as a comment in this journal. I'm just curious to see what kind of response this gets here vs. there.

Nothing huge, just sketches or a small little thing. These aren't commissions, after all.
