To all the fine folks out there who post a journal and then delete it 2 seconds later; I still get notified that you've posted something. If you do this once or twice, I won't mind, but every other goddamn journal gets annoying as hell. JOURNAL HAS BEEN DELETED BY THE POSTER!
If you plan on having second thoughts, don't hit submit, because leading me to believe that you have something to say, only to see a "journal deleted" tag irks me in ways you cannot imagine. -Drive a car with no passengers. (Got my license rather late.)
-Voted in an election.
-Tried making a radio show (and lost :3 )
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
-Last Year: Improve art skills [Success] even if only by a little bit. I've been rather busy.
-Next Year: Paint something that doesn't resemble a child's fingerpainting.
3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
-Most likely like any other night. Probably will have snacks, though.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
-Not sure if it was this year that two of my dogs died or not. That would count if that were the case, but I'm unsure.
5. What countries did you visit?
-The US. I live here :3
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
-More time and inspiration for artistic work.
-Money. I need new hardware badly. My computer already lives on borrowed time.

-Not sure what day, but it was the first time I've ever had a letter read by anyone important. (Had my letter read live on 2Sense. I'm such a dork :3)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
-Gaining more Graphic Design knowledge, which is now backed by knowing some of the most important rules of art. (How to use subtle qualities to achieve a greater affect)
-Learning some of the more advanced HTML/CSS techniques.
-Getting out of High School.

9. What was your biggest failure?
-Underestimating the cost of Tuition. That has really screwed me over, unfortunately.

-Nope

-A 64oz. Soda Jug. It keeps me going during those late night art projects :P Very handy.

Art practice a go-go!

I've been working slowly on a small project that'll be surfacing soon. (hopefully) The goal? Getting better at many a different aspect of this whole 'art' thing. I've been told I ignore the basics. This is because I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY FRIGGIN' ARE! So that's why I practice, observe, practice some more, observe some more, etc. etc. I remind you, I'm a self-taught artist.
In other news: I feel like rambling about my LiveJournal now, since I JUST got one. It's... kinda nifty. If you want to keep up with what I've got going on as far as major projects go, that's where you can find the info... or here, rather

Here we have it, folks, at long last, after many months of lurking, I finally show my face, and contribute (somewhat) to this site!
My name says CountFlatula, but I prefer Dragon Man, however, either will do, as both are copyright of me (err... at least Count F is (Bob and Tom made theirs one year after mine :P )) I'm a bit of a rant artist (see: 2 The Ranting Gryphon) but not quite to that level. I draw often, but am often caught up by various other tasks which usually lead to me being a bit slow as far as completion goes.
I don't bite unless you give me reason to; use of AOL talk (using 'u' instead of 'you') and other lameness such as the mass-murder of the English Language will force me to beat you mercilessly with a large Skree (see: Metroid) until your intestines are falling out of your mouth. Yes, I am a Grammar Nazi.
Those who comment on my art, will see a return of favor from me to them. I appreciate GOOD criticism, I know I'm not Leonardo Da Vinci, and I won't act like I am, so if you want to drop a heap of shit on me for my hard work, let it be known that I will do very graphically violent things to you, as I am VERY much against people who flame others over art.
But don't let me fool you, I'm really quite nice. I would not have wasted the time of creating an account here if I was going to flame everyone and burn the place down, because only an idiot does that. ;P
Care to have a word with me? Go ahead and talk! Again, I don't bite without reason.
Wish to draw one of my Yoshis? Let me know! Rare is the day I would keep someone from drawing one of my characters.
Muck talk? Yiffing? Leave it out, I'm not interested. (Whee Neutral Sexuality!)
