A Small Update
General | Posted 9 months agoSalutations, dearest aficionados of sadism and the large.
The life of your (hopefully) beloved feline author has gone through a few drastic changes as of lately. Generally good ones, at that, and I am mostly rather happy with how my personal affairs are going. However, a byproduct of my new situation is that, for the past couple of weeks, I've been having less and less free time to dedicate towards my writing, and chances are that this trend will continue.
Consequentially, of course, my literary output will have to change. There is simply no way around it. Whereas for the last four bimesters I've been uploading stories at a pace of roughly one piece per month, such a schedule will become unsustainable in the near future. This doesn't mean that I am entering a period of hiatus, mind you: rather, I will simply be working at a slower pace and, as such, posting stories somewhat more rarely. For now, I don't feel qualified to make a prediction on how often you folks can expect to see me uploading something. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
I hope you guys don't mind. I wish I could sleep only two hours a day, so as to gain a window to work on tales for you. But reality seldom agrees with our dreams and schemes.
Nonetheless, I am not taking an indefinite break. Be certain that, one of these days, I will upload something, and then something else, and something else. It might merely take a while, that is all.
Bonne nuit, my friends. Hopefully, you shall be notified of an upload of mine sooner than you'd expect.

Bluesky!
General | Posted a year agoGood afternoon.
Just doing some shameless self-plugging and announcing that I have created an account over at Bluesky! How jolly.
Anyway, follow me there, if any of you feel like it, and don't be afraid to hit me up ,if you want. I am more than open to conversations.
That's it for now. Until next time.

A Thank You
General | Posted a year agoHey guys! I hope you all are doing well.
So, recently, my latest story, "Jock-O-Rama", reached the mark of over a thousand views here on Fur Affinity! That makes me really, really happy, and I guess I just wanted to write this little message as a way of thanking all of you. It truly means a lot to know that so many people are actually interested in my work. Really, I'm very grateful. It's actually quite wild and thrilling to imagine hundreds upon hundreds of individuals reading my silly little narratives. It's a bit scary, yes, as such a level of exposition will always be, but, above all else, I'd say it feels just absolutely rewarding.
So thank you. I hope I can continue to provide you sickos with perverted stories for your twisted enjoyment in the future.
Have a nice weekend, everyone! Over and out.

Categories, Naming Conventions, and Other Riveting Topics
General | Posted a year agoHello.
This journal is, for the most part, simply a reminder to myself. A book of rules, even. No need to read it, really, unless you are thoroughly engrossed in my creative process.
So, Fur Affinity has a bit of a problem when it comes to its submission's categories. See, for one, while you do have a virtually all-encompassing list of species that you can choose to categorize a work of yours from when uploading it, the option to combine different, independent species is not available. As such, if you're publishing a story with an anthropomorphic dog and an anthropomorphic zebra, for example, you have to ultimately decide to either select only one of these different types of animals to represent your tale, or to not utilize this specific brand of categorization at all. And for another, while you can select to classify your works based on gender, with the choice to tag a submission as containing multiple characters of distinguished identities, I do fear that this latter option might give folks the wrong idea, if I utilized it, given the erotic nature of my work. The first story I ever published, "Up Against Your Will", technically does contain both men and women in it. However, it was written by a homosexual man, and the intended object of attraction, in that work, as well as in any future publications of mine, in all likelihood, was a male character. Perhaps, by categorizing my works as having "multiple characters" when uploading it, I run the risks of confusing a few people who were looking for a story featuring female and male macro action, and of not gaining the attention of others who, while browsing for smut, decide to filter their searches to include only erotic literature classified as "male", something that I, myself, have done in the past.
For those reasons, I have come to the conclusion that, from now on, the categories that will accompany my submissions will all be centered around the dominant agent, the macro, the object of my attraction and of my intended audience. As such, if a story contains, for instance, a male giant and a female micro, it shall be classified as "male", and if it has a macro mouse and a tiny leopard, for example, I am going to utilize the "mouse" tag on the "species" tab. The "multiple characters" option will only be used in case of multiple dominant characters of differing gender identities.
The issue of fixing some mistakes in previous works of mine has also been the focus of some internal debates for me. If I make a typo, should I, upon noticing it, say, a week after publishing a story, go ahead and correct it? I've decided not to go down that road, to maintain the literary integrity of my publications. The only exceptions for this shall be errors committed when writing the descriptions for submissions and choices that have made certain individuals uncomfortable (for instance: if someone who I wrote a piece for, after a few days, asks me to remove a line of dialogue in which their character utilizes a particularly derogatory term).
Finally, I believe I will continue to name my works after the titles and lyrics of songs. Really, I'd hate to break that trend now. Sometimes, my choices won't be very smart, by I'll try to select names for my submissions that add something to the experience. Titling one of my latest stories "Natural's Not in It" is probably the best example of what I will strive to accomplish, given that this tale's title has two meanings behind it: the more obvious one being the correlation between the lyrics of the Gang of Four track and the two-faced nature of the date contained within that narrative, but, also, the slightly hidden, though logically obvious fact that our female lead's shrinking mishap wasn't a natural occurrence, but rather a purposeful, spiteful phenomenon caused directly by another individual, the exact identity of which I won't reveal so as to not spoil the fun, but which can be inferred simply by analyzing the tale.
Again, this is really not an important read. I am just a bit obsessed with following strict conventions, so I thought writing them down would help me keep a track of the rules I intend to follow whenever publishing a work. Plus, if anyone wants to know why I've decided to do some of these things, I can just point to this journal.
That's all for now. Have a nice week.
