public hand update

my hands have been in a lot pain in a way that makes typing, drawing, or lifting most anything extremely difficult / painful. i can not carry more than a few pounds and my hands have been turning red/white in situations that require me to use them.

i suspect i may have carpal tunnel. i'll be going to a doctor's as soon as i can to help treat it. :0[ drawing will be sparse until i can hold a pen/pencil without risk of injury/feeling like i'm shooting electricity from my fingertips

i'd like to apologize for the sudden drop off in posting
i won't let this be the end of art for me, and i do think every day it's been hurting a little less.
will have my husband type out update posts for me if it worsens, but i'd like to believe the measures i've been taking since this wrist ache started evolving will continue to lend to healing, since as of now i can at leasst type for short periods again.

i well and truly don't want to keep asking for help, but as a freelancer i have no sick time and i've already been paycheck-to-paycheck for awhile now

took the time to go through all my submissions and put them in the proper folders! no longer will the comics and sequences folder only have one submission in it even though i've definitely drawn more than that, and my character folders have changed from specific ocs to categorized by species to save folder space.

i was also re-reading some old comments while doing this, and it really warmed my heart to see a lot of work that i don't think of very highly of anymore being lavished by kind words. gave me a lil' art confidence boost :,)

out of town until the 24th to help out with a familial medical situation, i'll be mostly unreachable for a bit. dms may be left on read until i return o/

Okkaay hi! I'm back here now!
I've decided to return to cowcollar from muzzledmammal. Lots and lots of reasons to do so; i've missed the name, this account's notification and watch count remains active despite the move, changing to a non-cow related username didn't make me any less of "the cow artist," cowcollar has a better mouthfeel, and... some self reflection has made me realize (accept? i feel like i've sort of known,) that the original change to muzzledmammal was out of some ... weird, unsavory ideas about myself and my femininity (or occasionally lack-thereof) that I'd do much better without.
To say it's a little annoying that I'll be re-re uploading all of the work that's now missing from this account would be a massive understatement- BUT. to finalize this decision and avoid cluttering fa's search results with my work, i'll be tagging all moved pieces properly AND removing the muzzledmammal account once I've finished both the grand re-re-upload-ening + communication with clients currently in my notes there.

hello everyone, i apologize for the silence / lack of posting, i got concussed a few days ago and since then looking at screens has been hell on my brain.
i'll be back as soon i can, but i'm being careful in the meantime ;w; i've concussed myself uh. a few times in the spot i hit so i really don't want to risk anything while i'm healing.
