Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Years to everyone!!!

With our troubles behind us I'm finally able to get working on my characters. I've made a few brand new characters including a beautiful goat boi and my very first scalie. I'll be working on my coloring a bit and experimenting with some lineart techniques. I can't wait to show off my new menagerie!

I was living with abusive roommates and finally got to the point where me and my BF had to leave or suffer bodily harm so we're held up at a motel right now. The point of this journal is to let the people who I was doing works for know that I'm going to have to put those works on hold for a little while. I sincerely apologize for the delay.

Great news! Patches and I have finally been approved for a new apartment. We're so relieved and can't wait to get back to working again soon!

Going to be spending more time coloring. I am not too motivated... more like exasperated at my inability to find a way to learn my craft though. There's a few decent tutorials on cell shading but the lighting and shadows are confounding me. The only way to get better is to practice and learn by practicing so I'll be doing the best I can and hoping that I can get some decent support enough to grow in confidence. Hopefully the community will be patient as I take a bit of time to complete my work. I want to be as good as the artists who's works I enjoy so dearly so I refuse to give up now.

As for my characters I will be developing and growing them as well.
Puddin' will be getting a personality rather than just being a faceless slut.
The Peep twins will be being abused in ways only a marshmallow can handle.
Rain the Vaporeon may get some attention but since it's an anthro Pokemon it will be taking a backseat to my original characters.
Lucky is and will always be a faceless slut because that's what he prefers.

Hopefully this will flesh out my profile and get me the attention I desperately need.

I've run into a bit of a rut. It's hard to get motivated when nobody seems interested in your stuff so I'm going to take a little time to go back to the basics and learn a few more painting skills. Gonna watch some of "The best of the Joy of Painting". Enjoy watching some happy little trees and bushes materialize out of nothing more than pigment and imagination... Then I'll probably check out some soft cell shading tutorials. If anyone knows any good ones please let me know, k? I'm having a bit of trouble learning where to place my shadows so anything dealing with that would be great but I'd be happy with any good coloring or shading tutorials right now. Thanks!

I'm always afraid to make an offer on PWYW works because I can't pay a lot. I don't want the artist to get upset because they find that a measly $5 is an insult, but then I think "What if the artist would be really happy with $5 more and actually needs the support?"

I'm also torn because I realize that you get what you pay for and that by paying so little there's a chance I could just get something silly that took no time or effort to make when in reality it's kind of a big deal for me to have posted for it at all since (I'm not afraid to admit it) I'm fairly poor.

Am I being silly by not participating in a PWYW auction or do you think the artists would be happy with it and understanding of my situation?

1:Puddin': Brown Border collie/Labrador retriever mix. My main fur. Femboy.

2:Rain: A Vaporeon femboy. Heart shaped tail instead of fin shaped. Has a blue dolphin like penis but with a small knot. His crest is small.

3: Lucky: Belongs to both me and patches. Another femboy type. Based on the white lucky cats.

4: Bonbun, Mallory and Sugar: Marshmallow Peep rabbits. Boy and girl and femboi respectively, Blue, pink and white. Working on getting them realized.

5: Wilt: A goat boy that I'm trying to think up. Has tiny nubs not full blown horns.

6: Taylor Maid: Zebra Herm Switch.

7: Noodles: Feral dog type character in progress.

8: Drake the gecko.

9: Austin: A Bi Okapi boy.

I mainly do coloring work for my BF  patches_namaki but I'll be happy to do coloring for others as well if anyone enjoys my work. Just send me a request and a link to the sketch or ink you want colored. All requests are accepted at my sole discretion unless you commission a work from Patches. Gonna be doing more coloring from now on. I've completely run out of ways to stall. There's a lack of GOOD games and movies around and as far as my usual way of occupying time goes... let's just say I'm quitting before I start to chafe. I'm hoping I can get pretty good at gradient shading as some of the more talented members I've seen on here but that requires *practice*!
