Pokemon!
Posted 9 years agoDoes anyone have some Zoronite they don't want? :s I can't get it due to having just gotten Omega Ruby a couple days ago, and found out that the Zoronite isn't being offered as a mystery gift anymore.
Everyone watching me, please read this! Hurricane readiness!
Posted 9 years agoFor those in the south-eastern, eastern, north-eastern US, and the Caribbean, please make sure you are prepared for this hurricane! Some things you should do, to start with:
-Make sure all electronics and cellphones are fully charged at all times in case you lose power.
-Make sure to have a corded (landline) phone. Those will come in handy if you lose power and have no charge on the cellphone!
-Buy pre-cooked foods, or canned goods. Milk, bread and eggs might seem the way to go, but those will go very quickly without power! Make sure to have bottled water at the ready as well! Either fill up the bottles you have, or buy cases of water.
- Make sure to have flashlights, and batteries!
-Emergency candles (thin, tall white candles) are a safe bet to have, too.
-If you have a grill, good! Make sure to have full propane tanks, or a bag of charcoal ready! Make sure to have matches and lighter fluid for the grill as well!
-If you have a generator, make sure to have gas for it! Fill up the gas cans and keep them up in a place that won't get wet, or tossed around in the high winds!
- If you do lose power, do not panic! That won't help your situation, and could make things worse! Try to make time for a meeting with those you are staying with, and talk to them about being prepared for this!
-Pets do not like high winds, loud noises, and massive rainfall. Always keep them in mind during the planning.
-If you need to evacuate, make sure to have a plan! Plan on where you will meet up, if you are separated. If you are together, make a plan anyway as a pre-caution! If a mandatory evacuation is called for, gather only the most important things you will need. DO NOT LEAVE THE PETS BEHIND. PERIOD. THEY ARE A LOVING MEMBER OF THE FAMILY, AND SHOULD NOT BE LEFT BEHIND LIKE THEY ARE NOTHING. You are their entire world, and the focus of their love. Remember that well.
-If you have weak, or non-standard windows, board them up! Get planks from the garage, or buy some from a department store! Window glass is not designed like car glass, and WILL shatter in large, sharp chunks! Those boards might save the life of you, your friends, your family, and your pets!
-Be mindful of others around you- such as your neighbors and the area you live in. There may be elderly people who might need help getting prepared for this. A little kindness can go a long way, and the elderly won't forget that.
-Be mindful of the tall trees in your yard or area, if you have them. If one large tree has rotted, even in the slightest, it could spell disaster for the home or building you live in.
-Be mindful of plumbing. The sewage system can, and will, overflow due to the large amounts of rain falling. Make sure to have buckets at the ready. Sewage lines may rupture during this even as well, so be mindful of that.
Now for some "no-brainer" points:
-If you lose power, you may not get power back for weeks or months. It depends on the proximity to the power stations and relays. Always stay prepared, just in case.
-Do not assume that convenience stores, grocery stores, department stores, and other such places have power and running water. Most of the time, they won't. Some places can afford generators and thus, have them at the ready, but those generators only last so long.
-Hospitals tend to be the first places to get power, but do not rush there. They don't take kindly to people running in to use their bathrooms, or clean themselves off in the restroom stalls. Hospitals are for the sickly and unwell, not for your personal hygiene.
Please stay safe, everyone, and make sure you are prepared for this hurricane. Reports are saying it is currently at a category four, with the potential to hit category five.
{EDIT} Shoot! Almost forgot! Make sure you have medical kits stocked and ready, just in case! You never know what might happen, so have peroxide, bandages, gauze and medical wrapping stocked! Q-tips should be in there as well! Make sure to have clean wash clothes for it as well!

Obligitory Anthrocon journal
Posted 9 years agoWell, I made it back from Anthrocon. It was a blast. I loved it. It set some firsts for me, as well. First time in a city. First time at a convention. First time in a four-star hotel. ...First time being touched by someone in a fursuit. Yeah. That was kinda funny. A drunk fursuiter yelled "FREE HUGS FOR EVERYONE!" and then gave me a hug while they were in fursuit. It was funny. Saw some incredible suits there, too. Took a ton of pictures, of which I posted about a third of, and some videos ( https://www.youtube.com/user/DemonCollie ). Please excuse the quality of some of the videos, as I took them with my outdated camera. :s Yeah. I kinda got to nervous at one point though... I saw some of my Guild Wars 2 guildmates there, and didn't say hi to them.
Holy crap that fursuit parade though. That was loooooong. Like, it was over an hour long. over 2000 fursuiters were in it! Holy crap! So many people this year for it!
One thing did bother me, though. I saw a breed I had not seen before, and asked my friend about them. He said they were "Dutch Angel Dragons". Oh. My. God. There were so many of them. It got annoying to hear the squeeking from them. Like, what the hell. Every ten minutes turned in to a squeek fest because a group of them had converged and started squeeking at each other. Some of them even squeeked when they walked! It was driving me mad just hearing that. I think there was way to many of them there this year. :s
All in all, though, I had a lot of fun. It was quite nice to get out, see a big city, and go to a gathering of that size. I hope to try and go there again next year!

Posted 9 years agoAbout the spam, that is. Just uploading some photos of Anthrocon! Though, some of them are uploading sideways and I don't know how to fix that.
Quilmeleon holding a raffle!
Posted 10 years agoAnyone know or speak fluent Japanese?
Posted 10 years agoTrying to find out what a certain set of lines translates to.
Everywhere I look says something different, so I have no idea what to really think it is. Also, these are the lyrics to Hisako from Killer Instinct.

About the game "Hatred".
Posted 11 years agoI see so many people complaining and berating and belittling the game to try and convince everyone to not get this game. It's like Manhunt all over again, except there's one thing people are forgetting about. We, as humans, are desensitized to violence. War, crime, bloodshed.. These are all common place in the human world due to the limitless potential of cruelty we, as humans, can achieve. But on the opposite, the same could be said about the selflessness- it's limitless to. Never forget that, as a human and not an anthro, this kind of violence is commonplace. Ukraine (I believe) just went through a massive, violent revolution where many died. Things like this happen quite often, it's just not reported often due to being in other countries.
Just to spite people who try to tell me otherwise, I will buy this game.

Payday 2
Posted 11 years agoAnyone have it? Just got it yesterday and I'm going to be looking to get some more experience with it.
Score.
Posted 11 years agoGot a job. Managed to get employed at Food Lion a mile or so down the road. Cashier! A position I've never done before. Told them I was versatile enough to work dairy, grocery, and frozen, too. I'm starting at $7.50 :3 That's ten cents MORE than when I worked my last job! That ten cents extra is going to go a long way in helping me get a car to make getting around a little more easy.
Eff it. I'll do this Ask Me Anything.
Posted 11 years agoYeah. Guess I'll do one, too, just so you folks can get to know me better. If I stop responding for a bit, fret not. It's only because I trotted off to go do an interview.
Submissions.
Posted 11 years agoI'm about to break 200,000 submissions in my inbox. Sitting at 199,987 submissions!
Yup. I love a game.
Posted 11 years agoSo, someone gifted me a game. Said game is a 'bullet hell' styled game. You play it in the FPS format. That game is Drunken Robot Pornography. It's funny as hell. The suit itself is funny. The voicemails you get now and then as you progress are funny as hell. Yes, the action is awesome and very 'bullet hell' styled. I actually had to stop myself from playing this game late at night because it was making me laugh so hard.
Nerdgasms.
Posted 11 years agoSo, yeah. Loyal Killer Instinct fan (loved the games a lot), and I've been following the new Killer Instinct for the Xbox One. Holy shit on cheesy crackers of awesome. So far, these have been complete soundtrack for some of the characters (SPINAL WAS RELEASED OMGOMG. *coughs* sorry. c.c; ) and I love them to death. It truly shows character progression from the first game, to this one.
So, yeah.
Posted 11 years agoI haven't nuked my submissions count in like.. A year? Maybe two? I've hit almost 180,000 submissions. Lol. It currently reads that I have 179305 submissions and two comments xD
Comic finding help?
Posted 12 years agoThere's a webcomic I'm looking for. Can't remember the name, but I remember some things about it. Mainly that the main character is a female human who doesn't realize she's a werewolf. But she's bitten by a vampire before her first full transformation, and turned in to some vampire-werewolf hybrid thing that everyone shuns. Also remember she gets sent off (via airliner) to Alaska (or some place else that is really friggen cold) and has a lot of emotional problems because of everyone calling her a freak, and physical problems from people wanting her dead, or to be a slave.
....Think that rings a bell for anyone?

So...
Posted 12 years agoGuess I'm due for an update, huh? Well, bunch of things have happened. I'll just use a number system thingy to list all that has happened.
1- My job hours rocketed up due to school starting. Both good and bad, but at least I'm pulling in enough money to set aside for things.
2- Work has me learning procedures for dairy and frozen departments, so I'm guessing they plan on making me a more permanent personnel there. Don't really mind it!
3- Apparently my parents still have some sort of care for me (or so they claim), and dropped $525.75 on a new laptop for me. So, I'm running a quad-core, 6gb memory, 750gb harddrive Toshiba Silver laptop. *Hipthrusts* Games, here I come!
4- I might be going on vacation for a week July next year to visit my mother when she visits America then. All expenses paid by her, so I'm thinking about it.

Work related- Interesting news.
Posted 12 years agoSo, while on the job (taking inventory in the last hour since we finished early), I overheard something that was very odd.
....Apparently a drunk hobo broke in to the back (where the inventory is), stole three items (pork ribs, a large soda, and vanilla extract), and started a fire to cook the ribs. He was arrested and all that, but damn O.o Weird shit happens in York, apparently.
