While working on another example with the latest update I realize a more extensive visual example on how to use bases might be helpful!
As the creator I see the templates and their many layers perhaps with different eyes than you guys do, having made it myself (knowing where things should go, what should be erased and where etc). Most of it is very straight forward to intermediate and advanced users, but I do see where beginners might have trouble with certain areas.
So my question to you guys is: Would you like to see a tutorial on how I personally use my bases, and if so, would you like to see it presented as a step by step narrated video or step by step collection of pictures (this option might be very limiting, though, so keep that in mind)?
If there's something in particular you'd like to me focus on (ie: managing layer economy, when to move a layer, when and where to begin erasing etc)
I feel like this could be helpful beyond working with my bases and Id love to share what I know.
ps. Im happy to share how I color them as well!

DreamyStack Releases Tonight!

Literally just waiting on Dropbox to upload the files so I can send them out. (I moved someplace where internet is very poor, so it should be only a matter of hours before your files are delivered!)
ANyway!
Got nearly 100 new layers with 20+ re-hauled layers of existing arms and legs to be made compatible with this new body for you!
some new arms and legs, pregnant options, axolotl parts, tentacle pieces, new ears, more humany things, +
new facial features and lots of hair and mooooore. Seeing the anatomical improvement between the Lucid and Dreamy has actually been an inspiring experience.
This marks the last "official" update for the Cozy Package 2017-19.
(its not confirmed, But I hear our secondary artist, Casey, may be dropping some more goodies in the near future just as a final farewell.)
Its been a wild ride guys, Ive learned a lot. I cannot thank you enough for all of the support, your patience with me and my team and lessons gained along the way.
As always, I hope you enjoy what we have for you.

DreamyStack Release Date

At the end of the month, on July 31st we’ll be releasing the Lucid inspired revamp to the Stacks bases (which comes with the Cozy Package 2017-19). For those of you unfamiliar, the Lucid is a longer and leaner base many enjoyed in the Cozy Package of 2015. We are creating new arms legs, hair, face, ears, tails and body shapes (its essentially a new base with most of the existing Shortstack rehauled to remain compatible!)

Both of our artists took time to move this year and we apologize for the down time. We definitely look forward to sharing what we have with you in our final project!

So, as hopefully everyone knows, there's a final update to the Cozy Package 17-19 in the works!
Its taking a little bit of time because I'm actually revamping an entire existing base!! I wont go into too much detail because I want to keep it a surprise, but I will say I think that many of you, especially past cozy package subs may find this project quite "radiant!" ;)
Im also moving this week (again, ugh) so Ill be doing all the working I can until I have to move my desk, but ill be full force again at the first of the month.

Confusion about Cozy Package 17 !

I'm seeing commentary here and otherwise that's, well, basically factually untrue. I just want to lay it all out as plainly as I can.
Namely I'm seeing comments to the effect that I am a year behind on updates to the Cozy Package 17
The truth is, at this point in time I have already delivered more content than I would have if I had not gone on hiatus. That means those of you that bought the Cozy Package 17 got more than what you paid for (and I'm still working on one last installment). Usually Cozy Packages roll out for 12 updates. I extended our release dates to 2019 in the summer of 2018 when I made my big return. I did this to help make up for the hiatus I took mid 2017-18 in hopes that what I had to offer would make up for my absence instead of just plopping down what I owe everyone and calling it a day.
As it stands currently I am beyond 12 months worth of updates and definitely past the point of what I used to call a Cozy Package "finished"

We're in the final stretch here and I promise we are gonna make our last hurrah amazing!

Posted 7 years agoHey! Just wanted to give a quick announcement that we're working on a new system for base distribution! In just a bit we'll be posting up the new hub for where all the bases can be downloaded and bought, so keep an eye out for that coming soon! Hopefully it'll mean no more worrying about a fussy website and keeping everything clean and tidy again!

Apologies for the journal delays, we've still been keeping busybusy here at CCS!
Now that the last month's update has been sent out, it's time to get working on the next! And with that, a new suggestion journal too!
So if you have the 2017-2019 Cozy package, feel free to leave suggestions for any of the Chrysalis, Chibi Outfit Maker, Short and tallstack and Magnum bases!
This will be THE LAST UPDATE to these bases, and we want to go out with a bang!
We do ask that you label which bases you want your suggestions to go to though, so please use something like this setup:

Posted 7 years agoThe updates are coming, its literally just a matter of collecting them all in one folder and sending them out. delay on these came while testing everything on a new more reliable database and continue taking care of everything in my real life, Ive been away from my computer for 3 weeks taking care of some family. Gentle reminder that while they may be late, No one will be short changed, we will always deliver what is due to you.

Because my site's file and email delivery system is supremely broken (to the point where the developer of my plug-in couldnt tell me what was wrong after paying him for help) I'm going to need to collect the emails of everyone who doesn't get their update emails from Cozy Cat when I send them out. We will "hand" deliver them to you each month, via our delivery support email at the same time everyone else gets theirs.
If you dont get your emailed updates/dont have access to the downloads and updates youve purchased
(THIS ONLY APPLIES TO YOU IF YOU DONT GET THE EMAILS SENT DIRECTLY FROM COZYCAT OR YOU CANNOT DOWNLOAD YOUR PURCHASE)

Im going to do things this way until January. To my great frustration, no one seems to know why this has happened to my system and I'm ultimately done fighting it. After January 2019 im going to discontinue use of the CozyCatStudio site as it stands today. Going to clean house, remodel and start up the site again elsewhere as this one has just been an ongoing nightmare for all of us.
This also means that you should be extra diligent to download your files should should you want them before the site goes down. You will not have access to your purchase history after January of 2019.
