Timmy's complications came back yesterday and we had to put him down. Timmy was in so much pain and the procedure that would fix him but could still have complications was over 3k. My family and I had to make the tough decision that no pet lover wants to make.

I don't really have a drive to draw at the moment. Give me a couple days or so. I'm sorry I've been behind as it is and I feel terrible. The only thing I want to do is sleep so I don't have to deal with life.

So I had a jump in commissions recently! Not like MASSIVE but enough for me to get a little overwhelmed. Especially since I have other art projects coming up in real life. (If there are any LA furs interested in stuff I'm doing let me know!) So just to keep everyone up-to-date, I have put up a current commissions list on my profile info. So if you have a commission from me, or are waiting for one, you can check the progress!

It just needed to be done.

Also, I'm kinda interested in vending for a furry convention. Keeping an eye out for a good one that won't cost me too much money to get to. I'm not interested in Califur at the moment.

Hey guys, so I got bad news. I'm pet sitting right now, so I'm away from home, and I got a distressing call from my grandmother. She was telling me our cat Timmy was acting unusual, like he was in pain. I took him in to the vet, and it ends up he has an extreme blockage in his bladder. They had to take him in immediately and he has to stay for 3 days. He'll probably be okay now, but his bill was...huge.

I paid a part of his bill, but my parents and I are struggling to get the money together. So tonight at 7pm PST I'll be doing a charity stream. If you donate some money I'll draw you something. Anything helps. I'm desperate.

I'm sorry if I've been late to responding to comments or notes or whatnot. Things on my end have gotten very busy.

First off school started about 4 weeks ago. I'm really enjoying my classes and I'm even taking a Women in Literature class, which I love. But I do have books and essays to write, so there's that. Then, lucky me, my boyfriend and I had a bad meal last week, and we haven't been feeling well since. We're starting to get over it, but we couldn't stomach anything for a whole day and just laid in bed all day.

The biggest thing though, is I got a new job. It's just part time, and I will definitely still have plenty of time to do cute drawings and commissions. But I'm in training this week so I'm actually at the place all week learning the computer and getting trampled all day by cute puppies! (There are 2 dogs at the office: A yellow lab, and a Black Lab Shepard). It's a lot of work, and sometimes has me there all day! But it's really easy-going (Limited Customer Service) and I think it's a nice change of pace for me.

In art stuff, it looks like I maaaaay be working with a local fashion store here in LA. That's all I can divulge on that matter right now, what store it is and what I'll be doing will be announced later!

Hey it's a SHOUTOUT!

Recently, I stumbled accross DiamondPinkery here on FA and immediately fell in love with her art! She does really cutesy pastel style art, and I adore it!

She's not really getting great feedback from her art though. Nothing bad! It's just she's so underappreciated, and that's NO BUENO! She deserves to be popular on here! Her art is soooo good!

So make the time to go visit  diamondpinkery and shower her with favs and comments! She has some cute YCHs right now too! Go look at her gallery and bask in it's kawaii glory!

Just to be clear, I am NOT opening a kawaii fashion store. But I am going to a grand opening of one! My friend is opening up a Japanese street fashion-like store in downtown LA. (They advertise it's kawaii fashion). Lotsa Harajuku, Shibuya, and cool clothes!

It's gonna be super cool: open to the public, snax, live music by Slime Girls (they do chiptunes, look 'em up!), and I get to hang out with my friend and be so proud! She also is releasing a zine that goes out here and in Japan and I submitted some art for it! I'm pretty sure it will be featured in the zine, but I think she got a lot of art, so we'll see!

But if you are in the LA area, come on by! The big partay will be on the 8th from 6-10pm! It's in the Little Tokyo Plaza, look up Fickle Wish! (That's the name of the store!)
