flippin-rad is now open for commissions to put YOUR OCs into the game!! I want as many cards as I can get! So go give me some more characters to use in the game's development! ESPECIALLY Prey characters!!

Posted 7 months agoThe game is finally ready to be playtested!! Please consider trying my FREE vore-based card game that I've been working on as a passion project for almost 10 months now!

For anyone who hasn't heard about Snack Attack yet, it is a card game all about meeting the desires of both your Predators and Prey while attacking and stealing from your opponents! Featuring characters from the community!! Check out Craddock's card for the game HERE!
The game is currently playable on Tabletop Simulator, allowing people to play it online! The game is unlisted on the workshop, and the link is in the discord server I shared above!

Breaking News! Snack Attack Card Game Info!!

Remember that Craddock card I posted a while ago? In it I announced that I'm making a vore-based card game called Snack Attack. It has taken quite some time but significant progress on the game is finally being made!
I have conducted a small preliminary playtest, and while many things needed to be fixed and reworked, the game works! And I think it is going to be quite fun once it gets refined! But while I work on that, the game needs more cards before it can be released in a playable state! So if you want your character to be featured in a vore-based card game, this is your chance!!
I believe that I will need 40 cards to release the game, preferably in even increments of Pred, Switch, and Prey cards! There will also be some Bystander cards, but any number of those should be fine!
Here are the current card counts:
Pure Pred - 12
Switch - 8
Pure Prey - 5
Bystander - 2
Total - 27
I am also aware of 3 more Pure Preds and 1 more Bystander that are lined up to be made, so needless to say we need more Switches and especially Pure Prey characters! These numbers are very much subject to future playtesting, but ideally I would like to release the first batch of cards for the game with 12 each of Pure Preds, Switches, and Pure Prey, plus 4 Bystanders.
So, if you have a Switch or Prey character (or two!) that you'd like to put in the game, RIGHT NOW might be the best time to get it done!! The dedicated artist for the game Flippin-Rad is about to open commissions in February! And one of the commission options are for Snack Attack cards! I should mention, even if you have a Pure Pred you'd like to include as a card in the game, you're still more than welcome to submit them too! Just know that they might not be included in the first round of cards! But if everything goes well I intend to release more cards for the game as time goes on, so I still recommend getting it made!!

If you are interested in what the game will be like, you can read the current rulebook HERE! That document will continue to be updated as I make refinements and additions, so that will always be the most recent version!
But as a brief explanation, Snack Attack is a game about satisfying the desires of Preds and Prey to earn the most Vore Points, or VP! The game is played in 3 rounds where you choose from a selection of cards available to all players to place in front of you, and then you start feeding Prey to your Preds! Some cards will synergize to earn more VP, some will disrupt your opponents, some will protect your own cards from others' attacks, and some encourage certain playstyles! Points will be scored based on how full your Preds' bellies are and how much you satisfied the desires of both Pred and Prey!
For everyone that already expressed interest in helping make this game, don't worry I remember all of you! But for you as well as any other people looking to get involved, the game is not quite yet in a state I would like to introduce to the public! However in the future I will be asking for help with playtesting! At that point I will make a Discord where people can play the game on Tabletop Simulator and give feedback! So if you want to participate in that, make sure you have Tabletop Simulator on Steam and keep an eye out for a journal from me announcing the public playtest! I don't know when that will be, but expect another month at least!

If you don't use Twitter that is fantastic and you should continue to not use Twitter! You may be interested in joining Blue Sky, but more than likely you'll be happy to not add another social media to your life.
But with that said, I have been so, so happy to see the biggest wave of people moving from Twitter to Blue Sky yet!! I have found an incredible amount of existing and new accounts from people I followed on twitter in the last few days and it just makes me so happy to think that I can truly leave Twitter behind if I ever want to.
For those unaware, Twitter has been getting more and more frustrating to use ever since Elon bought it a while back. More ads, more algorithms, premium subscriptions, and overall just far less user-friendly.
However just this week, Twitter has confirmed its plans to neuter the ability to block accounts almost completely by... not blocking them. They can still see everything you post, just not interact with them.
Additionally, Twitter has changed its ToS so that everything you post can be used by Twitter in any way they see fit, explicitly including training generative AI and you cannot opt out of it. This one is the real kicker that crosses the line for a great many artists, and where the artists go the rest of the furry community follows. And they have chosen Blue Sky.
On top of these two big issues, I've heard the new ToS is just sus all around and reeks of Elon abusing his power over the site to target the people and demographics he doesn't like. And that is an issue that is only getting worse with time.
So overall, there is no time better than now to make the switch. If this doesn't cross the line, what will? Because Elon will abuse his power again. I'm not asking you to abandon Twitter now, I'm not even doing that (yet). But I am asking everyone that uses Twitter to make an account on Blue Sky, and try using it whenever you would normally use Twitter.

Definitely double check who they are since someone may have sniped the handle or share their name, but its a super quick and easy way to get your timeline just as populated as it was on Twitter (minus the ads)!
And speaking of no ads, Blue Sky also has featues Twitter doesn't! Such as awesome Starter Packs to help you find a ton of new accounts you may be interested in, incredibly customizable privacy and moderation settings (including the ability to custom create your own content warning/filtering settings and download others', such as the ability to filter out/warn about AI generated images), the ability to create your own feeds or add others' special feeds to your feed list, and a ton of other conveniences!
All in all, I cannot recommend Blue Sky enough. It's better than Twitter was before it was bought out! And I really hope to see the community use it over Twitter for its main social media site!!
Anyways all this was to say I'm gonna start linking artists' Blue Sky instead of Twitter now if they don't have an FA. Sound good? Awesome.

Hosting a Dragon panel at BLFC!!!!
Posted a year agoYooooo! If any of you are attending Biggest Little Fur Con in Reno this coming week, PLEASE come attend my "True" Dragons panel!!!
This is the first time I'm hosting a presentation style panel and I'm super excited (and anxious) and I would love to get as many people to attend as I can!! And you get to hear me rant about dragons!!
The panel will be on Tuesday at 3 PM in the Shasta room! bring all your friends!!
Aside from that panel, I'm also hosting my Ski & Snowboard meet & greet again this year! That one is Monday night at 10 PM! I would also love to see people show up to that one if you have any interest in the winter sport!!
And finally, I will of course be at the con all week! So if anyone who sees this is going, let me know! I would love to meet up with ya and give you some Craddock goodies like my trading card and sticker!!

I Salute Our Captain
Posted a year agoI am saddened by Dragoneer's sudden passing, and frankly infuriated by the circumstances of it. But that discussion point is getting plenty of attention, and I'm glad. But something else I would like to speak up about is just how much I appreciate FurAffinity and Dragoneer's leadership of it.
For as much criticism as it gets, I'm a big fan of how he ran FurAffinity. I have a lot of appreciation for the forum days of the internet, and FurAffinity always reminded me of those days. And for all the controversial rule changes, I actually can't think of a single example of them being enforced in an unjust way. I mean, the site's quick action to ban AI-generated content has made it such a pleasure to browse compared to other sites like Twitter and DeviantArt.
I have so much respect for Dragoneer. Doing what he felt was right for the site and taking all of the criticism for it on the chin. And yet, never let it get to him. Never shied away from being public. Heck he would comment and favorite art he liked from small accounts which was always super heartwarming to see. Genuinely such a cool dude.
You can criticise the things he didn't do for the site, but you can easily do that for any grassroots project. There isn't the time and resources to do everything. But for all the things he did do they were remarkably well-executed every single time. I was very happy with his ownership of FA, and I can only hope with all my heart that whoever or whatever comes next can follow in his macro footsteps.

If you have a dolphin-like character, I have an opportunity for you that I highly recommend!
Cliona is drawing a piece of her orca and Hvölga crushing a pod of poor dolphins between their massive blubbery frames! The two big bully orca cows having a great time toying with their prey!
There is ONE SLOT remaining for another dolphin-like character to join in on the fun! (Clio and Hvölga's fun. I doubt the phins are having much fun, but this isn't about them.) And let me tell you, I am in LOVE with how this piece turned out, incredibly happy to be a part of it! These two orcas have so much in common that it's a shame it took this long for them to work together like this. This is an opportunity to be part of something really special! I will definitely be gushing about it when I post the finished piece!

He is trying to make art a full-time job and I would love nothing more than to see him succeed, so I want to give every single one of you my personal recommendation to follow him, and now more than ever to join his patreon!!
Here's my elevator pitch for Rad: There is literally nothing he cannot draw. I have seen first-hand how Rad can draw ANYTHING and draw it freaking well. All species you can fathom from dragons to aliens to dinosaurs to anthros to birds and everything in-between. And also any content from soft vore to fat furs to environmental pieces to any kind of digestion to maws, or ANY other kink under the sun, all of it he tackles with confidence and success. So I cannot think of an artist better suited to get a monthly patreon reward from, or just to simply follow and watch him work.
As of time of writing, there are only 2 slots left for the colored "2-hour speedpaints" which I highly recommend. For the forseeable future this is the ONLY way to get art from him! Catching up! 500 Watchers!!
Posted 2 years agoOh my goodness thank every single one of you so much for watching me!! 500 is a massive milestone for me and it really does make me happy to see others enjoy my characters, commissions, and writing!!
I'm actually quite late on this journal hah, I achieved 500 just before the new year! And I was too busy to motivate myself to make a journal at the time, so I'm catching up on things now!
While I don't have any plans for a raffle or anything to celebrate 500 (I'm no artist, and I'm rarely motivated to write!) I would like to take this opportunity to remind every one of my watchers that I am always open to splitting commissions with anyone interested! I'm seriously always honored when people want to get art with my characters, and I'd love to get anything from vore to fats to plain ol' vanilla art!!

OMG happy 2024 you guys!! I eagerly anticipate the prestigious Year of the Dragon!!
My top 5 games I played for the first time in 2023 were:
1. Baldur's Gate 3 - this game is so good you guys omg, legit might become a top 3 all time game if my friends and I ever finish!
2. Slice & Dice - Pretty much exactly what I want out of a mobile game. I wish there were more like it.
3. Pokémon Scarlet - Pokemon is actually regaining my faith between this expertly executed open world experience (if you don't mind the laughably bad presentation) and Legends Arceus!
4. Tears of the Kingdom - I can't believe I put this below Scarlet. This game is just really freaking good, but it didn't surprise me like Scarlet did.
5. Dave The Diver - Opposite of Scarlet, this game has the best presentation I've ever seen!! I still haven't finished it so it may go up or down!
I'd love to hear if you guys played any of these! Or if you found any games this year that you loved!!
Certainly 2024 will be the year we get Silksong... Right? Right guys??
And finally I'd like to share my new year's resolutions!
First the smaller one, I decided to quit Clash Royale. I quit all other competitive games a while back and I've been happier for it. Clash Royale stuck around though because there's very little mobile games with its level of depth and replayability. But especially recently the game has only gotten more and more frustrating, so I'm finally calling it quits. And with that, I'm finally done playing competitive games! I really do enjoy the more tightly constructed experience of singleplayer or co-op games, and the challenge is much more fun!
Second and the more significant one, I'd like to find a partner in 2024. I finally feel comfortable enough in my current position that I can look for love. Preferably a girlfriend, and one who is willing to both go on a hike and go to a convention! Definitely a niche overlap there but I know they're out there! I'm gonna try and put an effort into online dating and such this year!
Anyways, that's what's been up with me! I hope everyone reading this has a great day, and one more time I'd like to give you a massive thanks for watching me, and for checking out what I'm up to!!

I'm actually quite late on this journal hah, I achieved 500 just before the new year! And I was too busy to motivate myself to make a journal at the time, so I'm catching up on things now!
While I don't have any plans for a raffle or anything to celebrate 500 (I'm no artist, and I'm rarely motivated to write!) I would like to take this opportunity to remind every one of my watchers that I am always open to splitting commissions with anyone interested! I'm seriously always honored when people want to get art with my characters, and I'd love to get anything from vore to fats to plain ol' vanilla art!!
Even if I've never seen or met you before, I'd still love to get art with you! Heck I have a couple pieces I still need to post with people who have done just that!!
On that note, I have fallen behind posting things due to being busy, so I hope to catch up on that backlog soon!

Profile Updated! Added Olympus the Hydra!
Posted 2 years agoI have now updated my profile once again! The major change was of course adding my new hydra Olympus to my list of major characters! I hope the colors I chose for their text work well with most site themes! They seem pleasing enough on my own!
I also made some smaller changes, improvements, and updates to my profile! Keeping things looking good and up to date!
And yes in case anyone missed it when I posted their ref a month ago, I now have my 4th major character done! I have been wanting to design a hydra for a long time since they have such amazing untapped design potential! And they are very snake-like which satisfies my urge to design a serpent as well! I am very proud and happy with how they came out, and I already have art in the works for them plus many more ideas for down the line!

Just a quick journal to let my watchers know I'll be going to Biggest Little Fur Con in Reno! If anyone who watches me is going, I would LOVE to meet you there!! Please let me know!!!
ALSO I will even be hosting my first panel! It will just be a meet & greet for fans of skiing and snowboarding, so not a huge deal but if anyone going to BLFC has any interest in the sport then I would absolutely love if they stopped by! Even if you're not going, if you know a skier or snowboarder that IS going to BLFC, let them know about my panel!!
The meet & greet will be Monday night at 9 PM!

Today, August 22nd, is my 25th birthday!!
My friends have been WAY too nice to me and given me quite a few birthday gifts! So I will be posting as many of those as I can today!
Otherwise I'm visiting my old home in California and spending time with friends and family for my birthday, and I have plans to go to Nintendo Land at Universal Studios tomorrow!
And a minor life update but not much has changed! Still working at a ski resort as a lift operator, and loving it!
Thank you to everyone that watches me, I love this community and all the friends, idols, fans, and inspirations that are a part of it!

Anthro Weekend Utah 2023!

I haven't gone to a furcon since last year's AWU, so I am very excited to return!
Last year, AWU solidified itself as a sleeper awesome con in my mind, and I've been to quite a few so I am confident in my assessment! I would love to see the con continue to grow and hopefully get an even larger venue!
If you can make it out to Salt Lake City area next weekend, I seriously recommend checking it out! And I'd be amazed to see anyone I know there!!

I decided to actually use the Mature rating.
Posted 3 years agoUp until this point, I have been categorizing most of my vore and fat commissions and stories as General because I have always made it a priority of mine to keep things "SFW" with my characters, and as someone that used to browse FA without an account I appreciated artists that labeled such vore and fat art as general because back then I didn't want to make an account to view it, despite being of age.
However, I have slowly come to terms with the fact that regardless of my own view of vore not necessarily being NSFW, it is still a kink and should be labeled as such. I have labeled all my vore stuff as Mature now to reflect this.
As for the fats, I have changed most but not all to be Mature. Some is just art featuring a fat character(s), and I do not consider it to be kink art. However any art that features weight gain, stuffing, weight play, abnormally fat characters, etc. will be marked as Mature.
I apologize to anyone that does what I used to do, and browse without an account. But understand that I have decided I don't want just anyone to be able to see my kink art. May I recommend checking out My Twitter instead, or just making an account! I promise this community is much more welcoming than its reputation may lead you to believe!
I will continue to mark my kink art as Mature moving forward. Best case scenario this doesn't affect anyone and now I can show my FA gallery to people who don't know (or don't want to know) that I'm into these kinks!

I somewhat already announced this in my commission I posted today HERE, but that one had a bit of a somber mood so this will be the true celebration update! I talked about the bad news in that one, so how about some good news?
I really appreciate everyone that watches me, favorites my art, leaves comments, sends me notes, or engages in any way with me or my characters! No matter how big or small, it all feels so great to get this reaction from y'all!! And thank you for keeping this up through all this time! I really do enjoy interacting on this site!!
I'm still working ski resorts in Utah! It's a great job and while I'm not in any urgent rush to change that, I would like to use my engineering degree and I'm currently still searching for an entry level aerospace engineering job. If any of you out there work at a company that is hiring for that sort of position, or know someone who does, PLEASE reach out to me! That would be awesome!! I am flexible with location but admittedly I'd like to stay somewhere near the mountains!
Otherwise I'm playing a ton of Dungeons & Dragons. 4 weekly sessions! One of which I am the DM! Still making time to go mountain biking (or skiing if its winter)! And making time to play both video games and board games! It's definitely going well right now! Having a good time!
Also since I never made it clear for my long time watchers, I am currently single, and I am a straight male. Not in a rush to enter a relationship but still wanted to make that information about me publicly accessible as I am looking!

But my co-workers came through and I got all three days of the con covered within the same day LETS GOOOOO!!
I was not expecting this. I thought I messed up, but with the most amazing luck apparently I'm good to go! I am registered and will be there all three days!! I'm hype!!!

Short Story Commission for Discord Nitro! [Closed!]

So, my gifted discord nitro is about to run out again in 1 day. I'd rather not subscribe myself since I don't use discord enough to justify it, but I won't deny it is nice to have. Now, even if for some reason yet another person decides to buy me nitro for a month, I don't want to just mooch off awesome people forever. So we are going to try something different:
I am offering short story commissions in return for gifting me a month of Nitro.
These stories must include at least one of my characters: Craddock the dragon, Shasta the wyvern, or Hvölga the orca. Check my user page here on FA for info about these characters.
These stories may include vore, stuffing, weight gain, digestion, or most other belly related kinks if you like.
These stories must not include active use of sex or genitalia (effectively SFW minus the kinks listed above).
Past these restrictions, I'm open to anything!
I am also open to doing a structured RP and turning that into a story! I know I've gone on record stating I don't RP, but using an RP as the basis for a story gives me a free storyboard and ensures I am portraying your character(s) accurately.and technically you're paying me to RP with you lol I'm scummy
The story will be short. Hard for me to predict considering I've never really done story commissions before, but I'm confident it will be over 500 words, so already less than 1 cent/word. I'm not just doing this for nitro, I'm doing this to motivate myself to write again. So just have faith that you'll easily get your money's worth from me.
I would not normally ask for payment up front, but considering my nitro is up in 1 day, this time I will. However I promise to you that I will deliver your story within the month that nitro lasts as long as no unforseen circumstances arise. Hopefully sooner but I'm often a perfectionist with my writing.
Don't panic and rush to commission! This isn't first come first served! I will be accepting commissions for 24 hours after I make this post (until noon MST July 11th). If you would like to commission, message me with your general idea or comment on this journal. You don't need details yet, just a rough general idea of what you want. However I will only be accepting one. I will choose based on which idea I think is the most fun. I am doing this because I have struggled with motivation to write, so I want to give myself the best chances of finishing and enjoying the process.
If nobody takes my offer within 24 hours, this offer will remain active but become first come first served until it is taken.
Here are some mildly outdated examples of my writing. I'd like to think I've improved since then, but don't expect something of this length:

But don't ask me for sharing a hotel room hah! I'm actually gonna be crashing at my old college roomate's place since he conveniently lives in Reno! He is technically a furry, and has a crow sona by the name of Roscoe! But he has never been to any sort of furry event before so this will be his first, making this con even more exciting for me!
This will be my first BLFC as well, and I've heard NOTHING but great things about it and I'm super excited! Especially since this will be my first con since pre-COVID!! Goodness it feels great to have cons back.

This will be my first BLFC as well, and I've heard NOTHING but great things about it and I'm super excited! Especially since this will be my first con since pre-COVID!! Goodness it feels great to have cons back.
So yeah! Im so ready for this con, and who of you will I be seeing there?
Mini-update! Folders!!
Posted 4 years agoJust a quick update that I finally decided to put all my commissions into folders based on character and content (AKA what kink is present). So that's fun if you wanna specifically see art of one of my characters, or my collection of non-vore fats or whatever!
I also discovered a few things that I found interesting and wanted to share:
- I am almost perfectly balanced between the amount of vore arts and fats arts I have, so hey I'm doing my job right since I love both! However the earlier parts of my gallery were more vore-centric while I've been getting more fatstuffs recently, so perhaps this is the turning point of a shift??? (Nah I still love me some vore just tell me if you wanna get ate tbh)
- I have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more general arts than either vore or fat stuff combined. Which honestly, good! I want it to be known that I love dragons for waaaaay more than just being excellent predators and having excellent bellies, which they do mind you! But gosh darnit I love dragons in general, no kinks necessary, and I'm glad my gallery reflects that. Although it did make me realize just how much gift art I have which honestly makes me so happy. I'll probably make another sub-category for gift/raffle art soon.
- I also have a miniscule amount of art of my other characters compared to Craddock. But considering he is my sona and I didn't have any other characters for a good long time, I don't expect or even want them to have similarly sized galleries. However my current three characters honestly have about equally fleshed-out lore as Craddock, possibly even more considering Craddock is a bit of a self-insert for me, and the size of their galleries in no way represents that. I just want that to be known. At least Shasta's gallery has actually been kinda getting off the ground recently, which is great!! I love her as a character. I'm playing as her in a D&D campaign with friends and she's just the best you guys, I want a Shasta in my life.
More folders will probably be on the way in the future but I won't make a journal to announce them. Just keep an eye out for perhaps folders for animations, sequences/comics, raffles/gifts, and other stuff like that!

Bonus points for those D&D nuts out there if you can guess what class Shasta is! SUPER bonus points if you can guess the subclass!!!
