So there's just something I feel I need to tell people. I know most of you don't really know me. Most of you probably won't even see this.

I am a Male to Female transgender. I have not yet begun the process of transitioning. I have, over the past few months, been getting to know myself and come to solid terms that this is me. Now that I am secure with that, certain that this is me, and certain that this is the life I want to live, I wanted to let that out. To tell the world. This is me.

This profile. The "persona", so to speak, of Amy has just been a way for me to get out there and actually be a girl. In my real life, living with parents, things like that prevent me from being who I am. But on here I've been able to be me because none of you really know me from the other side. It has helped me tremendously, as have all of you.

I actually agree with him. I have the console. When you really think about it. Nintendo didn't put a whole lot into this launch. they were trying to get to market before the holidays. The console isn't very polished.

First, the controller. It's very clunky. It feels like a huge plastic children's tablet. Baring that the construction feels cheap. The glossy Nintendo finish just doesn't feel nice on a tablet controller. Like. If they could have gone with a matte finish, maybe trimmed some of the fat and heft to the controller then yeah, great. But as it stands. It's clunky and very not nice.
then slap on the battery life. A, it's horrible. and I could tolerate that if it weren't for point B, not only does it destroy a battery, like a fat kid on cake, it can't charge off the system. so I now have to free up, or run an extension to my couch. I don't know about you guys. My couch is an island in my living room, there are no outlets near it and having to plug it in constantly blows.
Another problem I have is the screen. Okay, you guys might not have any problem with this. But I am so sick of resistive touch screens on Nintendo products. They're blurry, they're not as easy or nice to use with your actual fingers, they are all around not good when compared to something capacitive. Which is nicer to touch, more responsive, and have clearer visuals. Yes I get it. They tried to keep costs lower. But you know what, give me a less shitty product and I would be willing to fork out the extra fifty to hundred bucks it could have taken them.

Next lets move on the storage. Yes. I get it. I am supposed to expand the system with an external drive. Stellar. That doesn't change the fact that after you plug in and sit through all the long ass updates on the system. If you have the 8GB version you have literally just about 3GB left. Which is nothing. You can't even fit a full game on it. If they could have spent the extra money for a hard disk? Even a small one? I as a consumer can go buy an internal 250GB, 2.5 inch drive for about 40 bucks. Now they as a manufacturer who are using millions of these things in bulk can get that at a much lower price. It would not have inconvenienced them to throw in something. Even 20 or 30GB as a base would have been better than 8GB of flash memory that gets almost completely filled but a system update, not even something optional.

Now lets move on to the actual console unit. First off. And I have tried to keep my language nice here. Fuck having to reboot to run a fucking emulation of the old Wii dashboard just to use my old Wii apps. You know what, my 360 does the same thing (run an emulation) to play original Xbox games and it's seamless and quick. There is no time consuming reboot. This is unheard of and completely lazy. If you want to throw in backward compatibility, yay great for you, but don't make it feel like a literal afterthought that was so tacked on that it isn't even there. That the system has to actually leave it's intended operating function to go off and run this as some little side thing.

And for everyone calling him a fanboy for mentioning that kids are likely playing on some Apple Product rather than on this thing, he's right. There are children in this world who don't own a console. Who don't want one. Because they would rather play Angry Birds and Cut the Rope on Mommy and Daddy's Android or iDevice. Mobile games are a competitor to gaming companies now. As shitty as that feels to say. Especially for Nintendo's target audience. The younger crowd. In a world where you can buy literally thousands of games, for little to nothing on a cell phone and hand it to your kid or even buy your kid a child friendly Android tablet for about 100 bucks with an already large install base, why are you going to go out and drop three to four hundred dollars on a home gaming console. I was a Nintendo Fangirl for years, and I am tired of their poor performance as of late.

So last night a few friends, Ging, and I went out to NYC to hit the museum of natural history [which was amazing details after my nerdgasm] and then afterward we walked around Times Square.

Whilst in Times Square we hit up the GIGANTIC Toy's "R" Us there and also the new Microsoft store. I gotta say. Before hitting that place up I wasn't too keen on Windows 8, not that I don't like the new UI but I felt like they were pulling an Apple trying to just make everything over simplified for the dumb consumer. After getting some nice hands on time with Windows 8 and Windows RT [Their new tablet OS] I have to say I am very impressed. And I rather like it. The interface is nice and smooth and I can macro whatever I want that's installed on my PC to the new Tile layout. And I still have the same old Desktop and administrative tools I love having at my disposal; even on Windows RT. Which was one of the points I love about that tablet OS, having all the admin tools I love from my home PC such as Control Panel and system tools like Defrag and Disk Clean-Up. It even updates the same with Windows Updater. I have to say I fell in love with the Surface Tablet now I just have to wait and see how the App Store develops for it.

Now then. Details about my visit to the museum. First of all, *ahem* THAT PLACE IS HUGE! There was no way in hell we were going to get to see all of it, but we did get to go see some nice shows. We walked around for a bit, exploring the Asian Mammals Exhibit which was stunning, as just about all the animal exhibits were. After that we heard an announcement of a live bird show thing in celebration of the reopening of the Theodore Roosevelt area and the North American Mammals Exhibit. I found it so informative and the birds were soooo cute. I now want a screech owl as a pet. At the conclusion of the bird show we grabbed some food which was quite over priced but expectedly so. Finishing our meal we headed down the hall to this interesting, abet, extremely creepy Live Spider Exhibit which was full of facts I never knew about spiders, or arachnids in general, but I still got all itchy being in there. From there we saw my favorite part of the whole museum which was the Planetarium soooo much stuff to see and a sweet star show about the Big Bang and how celestial bodies work and are formed which was narrated by Whoopi Goldberg who kept my interest and made me laugh. All and all this was probably the best trip I've had to a museum and my first to the American Museum of Natural History. I hope to make a return trip with soon and see more of the place, because there is just no way to see everything there in one day.

So I was recently with a few furs. One of whom is a Baby Fur. [For the record I am a diaper lover. Not an adult baby.]
They were explaining to me why they liked to suck on a pacifier explaining that is was just an oral fixation.
After thinking about it, my addiction to smoking is really just an oral fixation as well. So I've been over the past few days sucking on a pacifier they bought for me with the intention of assisting in my quitting smoking. I suck on it whenever I'd like to have a cigarette. While I still would like to have a smoke so I would actually be sucking on something with an effect. It's actually been helping a bit and I think I might actually be able to crush cravings with it all together.

So I picked up a new pack of diapers a few weeks ago. Only now am I finally getting to sitting around the house anticipating a nice long sleep in one. Feels so nice to be padded again. So I have been increasingly bored as of late with not having a steady job and no longer being in school. Seeing as I don't do much with my day, aside from some side jobs to cover my monthly costs, I have decided to do some commissions.

While I am not a very good artist, I am [Or at least I would like to think I am] a semi-talented writer. So I was thinking maybe I could try and write some short [or long depending on if I get on a roll and just go with it] stories for people.

I don't have many followers so if people could pimp me I'd love it. I'll even do like a raffle if you pimp me out and you can win me writing you your own story for free.

Since I don't really have an samples up and I'm pretty new at writing stories for other people. I was thinking like...5 to 10 bucks a story depending on content.
