I actually liked the books. Haven't seen the film. Doesn't change the fact that it's hipster bullshit, but whatever.

And people wonder why I keep my distance from random monkeys. This kind of stuff right here...

reptile characters with massive tits, or tits at all really, strike me as odd. If ever a trait was fundamentally not reptilian it would be that. For some reason amphibians don't strike me as quite so odd. Still odd, but less so.

Like I said, I understand that there's a suspension of disbelief that goes along with anthro art of any kind. This is just a thing I think about.

There aren't any reptiles that nurse are there? I know a few actually care for their young and that sort of thing. Do any produce any kind of food for their young to eat in any way? I feel like I've heard of a snake that secretes some kind of fluid for its young to lick that has antibodies in it, and I think there's an animal that sweats milk so the young can lick the fur.

but I think FA is the only site where it's common to feature genitalia on a character sheet.


Because people need to know how many dicks your character has.

I hope that someday I'm a good enough artist that I can treat the people who commission me like shit, and they'll just lay back and take it like little bitches. That seems to be the way it's done around here. Apparently treating the exchange of money as a binding contract is for chumps. Live and learn...

I've noticed something about this character guessing meme that's going around. There's two reasons why some characters can't be identified. A) The character is really obscure. Or the more common B) The artist fails to make the character recognizable.

I don't think I should get points taken because you can't properly render Snoopy...

Sadie is not going to get better this time.

I'm already missing her. Wondering at each moment if this is the last time I see her greet me at the door, or squeak her toys, or beg for cat food...

I've known it for some time now, but haven't let my mind wander to that place. It's coming down to days left with her. At the end, when there's nothing left you can do, you can't hold on hard enough. You lose all friction and they keep slipping away.

In some ways it will be a mercy. That cruel backslash of release.


Just so those of you who care will not have to worry anymore, Sadie passed away while Mom and I comforted her. I'm glad she wasn't alone at the end.

I don't have anything important to say. I'm just sitting here, browsing on my Wii. Writing a post is just a way to kill time since I'm having trouble sleeping.
How about the new TOS and that, huh? Seems like it mostly just annoys people who do annoying/creepy things. I browsed it. Looks like even people as vanilla as me are gonna have to shape up too. XD That's fine though. I see the reasoning behind the changes. In fact I think they should have come down much harder on some stuff. Baby steps, I guess.

The deletion system on FA is the most fun of any site. When I use it I feel like a government agent assigned to eliminate targets.

Many many years ago a friend of mine, who married a half Japanese girl, brought me a daruma. It's, like, a stylized head of a monk and they have various superstitions attached to them. The one he gave me had no eyes. You're supposed to paint in one eye when you start a project then paint the other one in when you finish. The idea is that the daruma will keep one eye on you and spurr you to finish so it can have its other eye.

The other day I was holding a copy of my book that was going someplace and realized that I'd actually completed the task I started all those years ago. So, I went down to the basement to see if I still had the daruma. He was waiting patiently, in a tupperware container. I drew on his other eye, noting the obvious difference in skill between the two.

Somehow, it looked happy.

I'm doing this journal on my Wii just to see if it will work. I wonder if anyone can guess what the title is referencing.

In Animal Crossing my days are a little faster than reality because I often have to be away on holidays. In order to avoid missing them I set my calander ahead. I got AC last year in November, so I missed it, but I vowed not to Doc Brown things and waited, patiently, for it to roll around again. The Halloween set is my favorite holiday theme. I can't get the snowman ones or Christmas ones since they are such a bitch to gather up. I saved all the candy from Festival and bought it every day from Nook to make sure I'd have enough for a complete set. It took me an entire night an I didn't get a full set. Eventually I had to go to bed, task incomplete. The next day I rolled the clock back and used my remaining candy up trying to get a Spooky Sofa. It was the third thing I got. I used the rest of the candy up just because there' no other use for it now. I ended up with two complete sets and some change. I sold off a few pieces for some extra cash then furnished two room with the spooky theme. That was on of my major goals in this largely goalless game. A day or so later I completed the Mush series, another goal left from last year.

I've gotten into the habit of not thanking people for faves right away because so many get removed before I get to it. But there's still a lot of faves to go through except since I wait for people to change their minds they build up and I get disscouraged and then don't thank people... I don't want to seem like I'm not appreciative though. At the same time I don't want to clutter peoples pageswith thanks that are irrelevant.... At least you can delete shouts on FA. It's so dumb that you can't on DA. I understand the reasoning, but I get bothered by the clutterof it all. This really shouldn't be a big deal. I'm letting it become a big deal by thinking about it too much.

You know, I’ve been playing Animal Crossing: City Folk for a few minutes, every night, for nearly a year; and I still haven’t gotten a golden axe from the fountain goddess. I can’t even remember what I intended to do with the damn thing now. I’ve completely lost sight of my goal. The only thing that keeps me going is the twisted desire for a golden axe. This mode of thinking is not unlike what living for revenge is like. What do you do once you’ve achieved your goal? Just go on with life or, in my case, cut down a whole bunch of random, computer generated, trees? I already got a silver axe, which never breaks. That’s really the only selling point for the magical axes as far as I know. I’m not sure in what way a gold axe could be better, I just know I don’t have one, and it vexes me.

I actually had a “perfect” town for at least a month. Long enough to get the golden watering can at any rate. Once I got it I decided to cut down every tree in the town and remake it according to my twisted designs. The northwest area of town has nothing but Cherry trees, except for a few apple trees around my town fountain. Apples are the native fruit, so they are worth less than other types, but I still like how they look.

The northeast quadrant is all peach trees. Placed closest to the store because I like selling them best. I like selling groups of the same fruit at a time. Honestly there’s no benefit in doing it that way, it’s just me bowing to an obsessive compulsion.

The southwest corner is pears. I like them least, and I spend the least time in that part of town.

The southeast corner is orange groves, except for a few apple trees near my house. Oranges are there because that section is nearly the entire southern part of town and oranges are more equatorial than other fruit. Also I like them near my house. There are several coconut palms along the beaches as well. They only produce two fruit per tree, so I didn’t give them a lot of real estate. Just enough to look cool.

My lighthouse is in that section of town too. I could have had a windmill, but who ever heard of a haunted windmill. You can’t go in the lighthouse, but I expect it’s haunted. Some poor animal probably jumped to his doom when I wasn’t looking during the week it took to build.

My house is pretty cool. I have Jacob’s Ladder growing all around it. I always knew them as Lillies Of The Valley, but whatever, they’re cool looking and you can’t buy them. I’ve got a lot of complete furniture sets, but not the sets I want most yet. I have to wait till Halloween to get that furniture, and it’ll probably be a real bitch. All the special sets require that you do a bunch of bullshit tasks to claim them. At least it’ll be a Halloween themed bullshit task… I saved all the candy from this year so I’d have a good chance of getting everything.

I’m also one piece of furniture away from having a complete Kiddie Set, but that bastard, Tom Nook, won’t get it in the damn store. Oh how I hate him…

I always just assumed that if people wanted to commission me they would ask, but apparently that's not how it works. I've been advised to formally declare my willingness to work for munnies.

The basic rates are as follows:

One character
$10 for a quick sketch
$20 for clean linework
$30 for full color with generic background

And so on as you add more characters and stuff. Anything saucey, naughty, fetishy, or adult has a seperate price point.

If you get a sketch and want it finished over time you can just keep paying till it's as complete as you like. So if you pay $10 for a sketch then want it cleaned up it's another $10 not $20, get me?

No redraws for rough sketches. Any major changes between steps may cost more depending on how drastic they are. I'll judge that on a case by case basis.

What you see me draw here, or online elsewhere is the limit of my skill. If you ask for something clearly beyond that I won't be able to take the commission.

These prices are negotiable, and may increase as demand increases. I accept all major credt cards through paypal. XD All payment in advance. No refunds. Make your desires as clear as you can. You must provide reference for characters, don't expect me to go searching for them.
All work is digital. You will receive a high quality file of the type of your choosing. It will be print quality. I try to have a the work completed within 3 days of receiving payment. If time permits it could be as little as a few hours.

As long as you aren't a dick I try to be cool to work with. Since I work only on the PC you kind of get a better deal because there's no bullshit pencil sketch stage. It comes ready to print right out of the box, so to speak.
