Convention tour has changed!
Firstly, I hopped off the waitlist for FWA and I'm set to sell in the den for the first time since 2017!
Regretfully, between border crossing stress and the calendar proximity to my first Megaplex, I won't be at CanFURence again this year. [Here's hoping I finally get to visit the fancy new venue that overlooks the Capital building in 2023!]

MCFC 2021, SPR MUCK, & Darxkai
General | Posted 4 years agoGetting ready for my first Motor City Fur Con! Hope to see a bunch of new and familiar faces!
In other news since I haven't updated in a while, I have been spending some free time on SPR MUCK. I used to avoid RP like the plague (or at least was concerned/disinterested when approached on my business accounts xD) But now I have a nice little place where Craz-wolf can just be me but wolf-shaped lol. Mostly talking through things, making machines, and snuggling plushies.
But I admit I spend a little bit more time on SPR with my newest character Darxkai (seen in one of the recent pieces in my gallery) - working on confidence in its various forms, being comfortable with myself, and other self-improvement. It's been inspiring and motivating to think through things from his perspective... and be a little flirty haha.

ANTHROCON - Dealers den and Art show!

Thanks to all of those who started following me!
I must admit I don't post here often but I'm always busy
with new artwork! Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are
definitely my main social media stomping grounds!
I'll be at table O-16 in the Dealers Den and I will have two panels of originals in the art show!
I won't be completing commissions at con but (as usual) I will be taking
everything home where I can work with all my materials and invest the appropriate
time and attention to detail that a rushed job at a convention cannot provide.
I just get ADHD at conventions since, just like everyone else, I want to enjoy the con too!
So once the den is closed, I'm going to socialize, dance, and possibly explore the city!

Hoping to spend my time in the Artist Alley and hanging with my cool roomies and friends!
I will be meeting a bunch of really close friends that I have grown closer to over the years since joining DeviantArt 10 years ago and have never met in person.
I won't be taking commissions at con but as usual, I will be taking everything home where I can work with all my materials
and invest the appropriate time and attention to detail that a rushed job at a convention cannot provide.

General | Posted 9 years agoHello and welcome to all my new followers, friends, and commissioners! (sorry i'm not around FA much - always so much going on its hard to keep this beast of a site up to date!)
And I'm back from MFF! Holy cow that was a lot of driving x_X 10hr drive is a bit rough when traveling alone.
So this was my first MFF - I must admit it wasn't great for business (AA lottery only granted Friday and Sunday) but I did take on a nice chunk of pick-up and at con commissions even before AA. I was a little disappointed at how the artists and dealers kind of felt like an afterthought (lotteries, cramped lower level labyrinth of rooms, and minimal cell phone reception.) Also staying at a hotel that was a shuttle away wasn't ideal for spontaneous hanging out.
Despite the the downs, there were some significant ups. It was great to meet up with some old friends, make some new ones, and try my hand at some new critters in commissions! (Commissioned for my first mongoose and cow badges). I was stunned to meet some of my inspirations at MFF and even get some compliments on my work from Vani when she stopped by my AA table on Sunday *dies inside* <3
I'm looking forward to trucking through Furpoc and MFF commissions for the rest of 2016 then hitting up ANE! Hopefully I get AA or last-minute Dealers!

BACK FROM FURPOC
General | Posted 9 years agoHoly cow this was an emotional rollercoaster of a trip but so worth it since I got to meet a ton of new people, met up with some old friends, saw peeps I've known from Instagram, and I made bank in Artist Alley! I'm not sure if I was sick before and all the way through but I felt sick on the way to FurPoc and I feel the same way now. :/
I will be finishing up Artist Alley commissions over the next few weeks as I bounce between teaching art classes and selling at local art holiday bazaars!

IN OTHER NEWS: I got into Anthrocon 2016 Artist Alley FOR ALL THREE DAYS! I'm so excited and nervous! This is going to be huge! If you're going to any of these conventions, ORDER NOW! (Prices will be increased at the con to cover the fees/cut of my income that the conventions take with each purchase.)
I'm also planning to attend MFF and FurPocalypse and my hometown FurryCon for my first time, and I hope to be in Artist Alley or dealer's den at Anthro New England! Wish me luck <3

ANE 2016 Recap + maybe FurTheMore?
General | Posted 10 years agoWow, ANE was awesome! I wasn't nearly as overwhelmed as I was at my first con (AC2015 which was HUGE) but I was still exhausted after being there from Thursday through Monday x___X. It also didn't rock that my car was trapped in a parking garage from Friday Midnight until Monday morning...
But there were so many awesome things, great people, meet ups with friends and fellow artists!
I got to hang out with
and Husband (and even slept under a desk for one night thanks to the snow xD)
I was so happy to meet up with some RIT furs there and get some photos taken with them since there were about 9 of us there! So random!
I got to hang out with
and talk about potentially selling at FurTheMore! I think he's essentially my new cheerleader/business adviser for Furry Cons and I couldn't be more grateful! <3
I also got to meet
(after being friends for like 10yrs online!!), 
(ERMEGERD ERRGITERRR), 
, 
, and more!
Such a fun, tight-knit show and it was awesome that we helped raise $11,000 for the MA Vest-A-Dog organization!! I look forward to attending ANE again!
But in the meantime, I'm trying to see what's up next... If I go to FurTheMore, it would be a heck of a drive and I wouldn't be able to squeeze into the Dealer's den (just Artist Alley) but I have been offered to crash with Nighty. Plus, I'd be able to visit some of my friends on the way; my BFF is in central PA and my friend from drama classes and college days lives 20 mins away from the convention! I currently have a conflict (10am-5pm Saturday art show... I hope my husband can cover for it...)

So since I love making these 9"x12" portraits and full-body pictures to make into cards and prints, I'm offering a normal $100-$150 commission for a whopping $60 if you commission me for something generic (i.e. requesting the species instead of specific fursona with markings).
It can be a valentines day gift for your mate or a birthday gift for a friend or an anniversary present - it's up to you!
Afterward, I will manufacture cards and prints which you can purchase and send out to friends and family as you wish ^^
