Year of the Back Alley Whore Mons
Posted 2 years agoHello!! I'm making a journal to announce I am going to try to do a year long project focused around some of the drawing I've done in the past. Namely the Bacck Alley Whore Mon series. Started with Lopunny and then had a Jynx and Absol added too it later on. I've always enjoyed the theming idea and wanted to push it more so here we are! Each month a new image focused on a different catagory of pokemans, and y'all get to vote on it!!

Yes. This year, I'm doing a year long project involve everyones favorite monster girls from Monster Musume. Each Month, I will be drawing a fully rendered pieces of one of the girls from the manga/anime, with the order of them going by the order of apperance. Starting from January all the way to December, the order will be

Each piece will be posted publicly and all of them will be massive in size. Why is that? Because depend on the quality of some, I might be wanting to think about making a few prints of them.
Each piece, as I said, will be fully rendered and each piece will have 3 normal variants. There nude variants, which will be posted everywhere, there normal outfits, which will be posted everywhere, and a alternate outfit depending on either the month or just what people want to see on them if nothing special is going on that month. (I.E. December's alt outfit would be christmas/holiday. Oct. would be spoopy costumes, ect..)
In addition to the 3 normal variants, each people will have at LEAST one extra special variant. This variant can range widely, from just giving the character larger breast then originally, making them Futa, lactation, and so on. Basically, it will be a 'kink' edit of sorts. These edits, however, will not be posted publicly, as of right now. Why is that? The reason is because, depending on, again, how well the project comes out, at the years end, I will be offering everyone the ability to download all of the girls as a pack. An Art Pack, so to speak. The free version will have the stuff you'll see posted. And a slightly priced deluxe version will have what you've seen, in HD. With the .PSD files AND those extra little secret edits that will be hush hush till then ;3
Now I know people don't like paywalls. I don't either. No one does. But with the amount of work I want to put in, I can hope you guys can understand me keeping them behind a paywall for a little bit at least. I'm already providing at least 85% of the art pack for free, and those extra bits are really just there for the people that overwhelmingly support me <3 And it won't be that pricey either. But this is all ASSUMING the project comes along well enough to warrant do it.
Now lets assume it does and I do make that deluxe pack thing. Will the edits ever become publicly released/posted?
Yes. I will begin posting them publicly some time after the packs release. Probably a couple months after it's been opened up, assuming no one is that guy to buy the pack and post the special edits themselves online... don't be that guy. It's pretty rude D:

Ok, jokes aside. I’m not gonna sit here and say “Hey, I wanna do blah blha for the new year” Cause it’ll probably be roughly what I said last year and I probably won’t follow through on it. Haha~!
However, I do wanna know. Aside from making more content, what do you guys wanna see from me more in the coming year? Anything specific you guys like to see or want to see me try to do? What do you guys like about my stuff? What don’t you like? What do you think I could work on or improve at? That sort of stuff?

Posted 8 years agoOk first thing. Life update. I’m not one to really talk about stuff happening in my personal life. I like to keep that shit to myself and not weight it down on others but I feel like the premis of this allows it. So I don’t believe I ever mentioned it here, but for the past year, and going forward for another year till March of 2019, I’m in college. Online College to be exact. I won’t say where I’m going cause I know some people will say “Oh that’s not a great place, you wasted money” or something along those lines and I don’t need that. What I will say is I’m going in for Game Art and Design and I’m currently working in 3D models with a program called MAYA and about to start working in the Unreal Engine. Reason’s I’m going are for a couple reason. One, I want to improve on what I’m doing now and learn from others and two, if this stuff fails, I want to have a backup plan ready.
Right now, I have no set-in-stone hard scedule, but I would like to start trying to get myself into the force of doing work between X and Y time. Or working for an X amount of hours each day. I want to get this started as soon as possible with the absolute latest this happening being after the holidays. So hopefully I’m popping out more stuff then I am as of now.
As of right now, I have no job and with me being unable to drive and lack of places around me hiring, it’s pretty hard to get money. Don’t worry about, I’m not gonna sit here and beg and pled for money (Yet lol). I do have a plan though. Luck for me, a place near where my brother works at is a small game dev team so hopefully before graduation or right after, I can nab a spot there. Until then, I’m just gonna try to do what I can with either commissioned work or hopefully find a part time somewhere over the holidays. I don’t know yet.
Speaking of commissioned work, I do want to bring to light and update with them. I’m sure some of you saw a few picture I posted prior to the Halloween one that were label commissions. Both of those took a long time. A very significantly long time that should have never happened. One was over a year and another was coming up on 8 months I believe. I had to force myself down to work on them when in truth I really didn’t want to. Mostly cause I was a lazy fuck but also cause I had no drive to want to do commissioned work. I wanted to do my own stuff but I really couldn’t cause I know I should do the commission stuff first. But I didn’t want to, want to do my own stuff, yadda yadda, cycle repeats infinitely. TL;DR, I took two commissions I shouldn’t have when pretty much from the start I really didn’t show much interest in them and only took them cause “Haha~! Yes free money~” But… yeah. Anyway, enough of that. I learned a lesson and I’m changing up how I take commissions from now on
Instead of staight up buying a full color drawing plus any/all the edits you want for $XX amount, I’m instead only going to limit it up to a colored sketch for $10 starting. Reason for this is because even if I don’t like it or do, I can quickly pop it out within a respectable timeframe and also give myself enough work time with it to figure out if I like it or not and want to keep going with it. If I do, I’ll let you as the commissioner know and offer a chance to get it fully colored. The full details about it and all will be coming up with a Commission sheet post but just understand that full colored commissions from me for a long while may not be coming. Like I said, I want to work on my own stuff.
Now that that is all out of the way, what’s the hard plan as of now? Continue to keep working and finish up anything I need for others. Get myself settled down on a hard scedule of working on school and personal works while giving chances for others to get some stuff here and there. And to really figure out where I’m going to be at and where I’m at once 2019 rolls around. Either one of three things will happen once it does. 1) I get a good place to work after graduation making a decent amount. If that happens, It’ll be very likely I won’t post much anymore, if at all. 2) I’ll will have gotten myself up to a point on Tumblr, dA, FA and the like that I can seriously consider sitting down to become a full-time freelancer like Slugbox, Artyl, or anyone like them through Patreon, Ko-Fi, YCH Auctions and Commissioned works. Or 3) IBoth of these will fail. I’ll realize I’m not meant for anything in this world and be living in a cardboard box with my kitty while being in a fuck ton of college debt! Won’t that be fun!!! : D
