This isn't prank first off. Due to upcoming work and jury duty I'm going to post what I have before life decides to thoroughly kick me in the crotch. I don't have any April Fools themed pics but a crud load of art all at once sounds better anyway.

To those of you who are watching me and checking out my art I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the views and faves. For those who are new I don't do trades or requests mostly due to time constraints on my end. I don't roleplay outside of maybe the rare response I give on various pictures. I prefer to post in bulk like what I'm about to do now so expect there to be large time gaps between posts.

So something that was basically 7 years in the making. We finally got a new larger home. Been moving into it slowly. The process getting this thing took a whole month since we had several issues (placement, paint color, repairs, ect.). So not much to post this time around since I've been busy to a point where I couldn't really draw for like two straight months. So here's some works and enjoy.

Today we had to put my cat Harley down. We had her for 19 years. Over the past week or so her health declined heavily. A lot of changes are occurring on my end and this was one I NEVER wanted. I still think back to the day I picked her out. She had a good life at least, but already I tend to look over thinking someone is going to walk by next to me. We adopted 4 kittens recently so I hope she didn't feel like she was being replaced (the adoptions were a surprise to me too). After losing my grandmother last year I just really want something to go well for once. Anyway sorry for this depressing post so I'll just end it here.

Ok, so I actually forgot about this day. Technically I have stuff I can post I'm just sure if I want to yet. I'll think about it. :)

So about last week I got a new job working for a newly opened Wal-Mart market. I've been getting a so far consistent 40 hour a week schedules, but since its a new store my schedule is a bit all over the place. I have had to find out from a manger as to what my next week of work will be instead of from a computer or printout.

As such my time for art is very limited now. So for the time being my Hero Dood series will have to continue much later than anticipated until things are settled. For the moment I am working on simple pics, but its really slow going.

So is easy mode is complete. I'll be posting the new rules for normal mode next and will be tacking a break for awhile to work on regular stuff. The new rules are lengthy but are easy to follow voting wise. I'm just posting it now so you all can ask questions and I can help eliminate confusion. Also I might consider guest characters for this new mode, but I'll think about it. For now just back to normal stuff.

Due to the site outage Encounter 4 of the series has been re-uploaded. Any votes made during the post have been successfully counted before the outage occurred. I may end this one early as well since the voting is one sided again.

So the new Nintendo store is open and as advertised is now just electronic based stuff. Though a lot of the gold coin related missions seem to be purchasing download versions of games. Nintendo is aware of limited data space and physical purchases right?

Seriously though this has easily been the single worst year of my life! I'm ok its just thing could have gone SO much better is all.

Cons:
Quite my job after 4 years of straight misery working there.
My Grandmother died.
Lost my most reliable car as it became unfixable. (beyond what we could afford to fix it)
My very old PS3 is basically on borrowed time in terms of functionality even after fixing the fan. (its one of the original first models)

Pros:
Quite my job. Seriously Kmart can go to hell!
Got a PS4 for Christmas.

Since the holidays always manages to take up most of my time I don't have much in terms of art, but I'll post what little I have for celebration purposes. So no V Cards this time. Rather its like some small stuff. Also to those of you private messaging me I'm not ignoring you I just haven't been home all that much.

So I have actual holiday related works to show this time! So my next set of pics I purposely set for posting today. Its not all Halloween related, but it mostly is.

Included with the upcoming works is some stuff I made based on my Pokémon Art Academy lessons. I definitely prefer this game for beginner artists because it has a pretty great learning curve. Small updates:
With the folder I posted some updated versions of two V Cards Ferter and Serpo. Changed Ferter's pic and ability description because I was never satisfied with the picture. Changed Ferter's & Serpo's ability description for balancing purposes.

Been playing Pokémon art academy and have started to apply my lessons and upcoming works for practice purposes.

Currently plan to post my next set around Halloween. About over 30 general pic and 3 V cards so far (will switch focus to cards as of this journal post).

The winner of the next series vote was The Challenge focusing on Max and Picha. This series will start off with a backstory about where they live and how things came to be to start things off so don't expect any pages involved with it yet beyond the backstory (with picture).

No idea there was a specific holiday for this, but its nice to know for next time (if I can ever remember lol). While I do actually have about 20 or so pics readily available for posting as of today I'm actually saving them for Halloween because a number of them do have a holiday theme. On the other hand I could post something related to vore... It will be a vote pic! Something I planned to introduce later, but now seems like a reasonable time. It's a set of stories to choose from that I will work on over time at my leisure. Something like the Reaky and Maury series I've been posting one at a time.

To those of you who have been around for a while and are new I wanted to post this journal to point out a few quick things and explain others that I haven't brought up in a while.

1. I post in bulk. Because of this I usually don't post anything for months at a time. I prefer doing things this way since it's easier for me. Especially since work and daily life plays in the rather limited time I get to draw. My work is in the afternoons now so I get home after 10 pm.

2. I'm not doing requests! For the main reason listed above. If I want to do a trade I will message you.

3. The V Card series will feature many different users on FA and my main gallery. I'm not ignoring anyone I just draw characters and scenes that make sense to the card title. I'm not giving special treatment. I have plenty of ideas in mind and don't plan to stop anytime soon with the series.

4. Because of the reason listed above in #1 if you sent a private message to me and I don't respond for a while please understand that I am not ignoring you! I will message back when I can. Also don't ever ask me if I'm going to respond or not! I explain things as best I can to the questions you give me and if you don't get it than I'm sorry. I don't mind private messages that are just simple conversation and questions.

Things are a bit slow. I have pictures ready, but not too many. Mostly because the weather has pretty unkind with all the heat and a small fan doesn't help to cool me down. So I'm posting some V Cards for the sake of showing a sign of life. On the plus side I have a new scanner (since the old one was no longer supported which caused it to no longer function) that has a unique feature that allows me to crop multiple individual pics at once rather than scanning one page full of works and separating them all later.

There is obviously meant to more pics for the tournament winners that I will post over time and they will be sprinkled around with my other works, but I really wanted to start with the cards since I came up with some pretty good concepts that would work for not one but two cards for each.

Ok, so we are currently having an issue with people advertising the contest in someone's favor. As a result one of our finalists are actually trying to forfeit. This is what I wanted to avoid. I need to know now everyone. I really didn't think I had to repeat the part about no ads

1. Should advertising be allowed at this point and finish the round?

2. Should I end the vote and go with my original idea of only the special guests voting only?

3. Should I make this quick and simple and literally end this with a coin flip to determine the winner?

4. Other suggestions?

Ok so tonight the voting ends, but I've been thinking all week about how the final round should work vote wise. I need to know your opinions (the voter/viewer) if this idea sounds fair, but I was thinking only the guests (the people who won the drawing and got in the tourney) should vote who wins. It feels a bit more balanced this way. Thoughts?

Due to the unexpected tie in one of the matches I've decided to speed things up by a round and move straight to the semi finals. I did not intend to take a break this time around but because of what occurred I will be updating things like the field look, drawing this specific match will take time, and I have family over so my computer time will be a bit limited.

Message For Voters:
How this match will work is very simple. It's going to be Regular Vote Rules only this time you will decide between 5 characters instead of 2. The 2 characters with the most votes will move on to the final round. The other 3 will be eaten by a special guest pred I promised at the start I would include.

Message For Guests:
You can no longer vote for yourself, but you can vote for another. You can no longer advertise yourself for a match. My viewership has increased significantly since this started so these changes shouldn't cause any problems.
