!!Closing down this account and migrating!!
General | Posted 7 years agoHello! If any of you are still around and reading this page, it's an important notice.
I will no longer be updating this page with the CKoM comics, instead everything related to the comic will now be hosted and updated on my personal page.
Dressari
The reason for this is becuase I got tired of messing around between two accounts, that and the comic is going to have a minor restart to fit in a new arc that i have drawn myself. Sadly Caine can no longer work on the comic due to time issues, and I have taken it upon myself to learn to draw reasonably well and do it myself.
You will be able to find more details on my IB page, or at the main website of http://ckom.jadephoenix.org/ which is it's primary home.

Lack of updates?
General | Posted 8 years agoSo people may have noticed we haven't had very many updates lately. Sadly it's mostly because Matt (The Artist) struggles to balance keeping cash in hand from his commissions as well as finding time to work on it.
One of the largest ways we can help to offset this is perhaps to make working on the comic more of a profitable outlet for the Artist.
How do we do this? Well sharing interest into the comic is a start, it goes a LONG way, just that quick share button helps. People ask for sharing on some of the weirdest things or most unusual anyway. Sharing this is helping us support a possible livelihood we want to invest in, not just a passing interest.
With that too, sadly, but as usual money helps too. We have a Patreon and all most of our viewers and interested parties would have to do to help us get started is to pledge just 1-2 measly dollars.
This isn't even a monthly thing it's PER comic update, meaning you would only get charged when the comic is essentially updated. That might even be just once a month. So with that said, please consider helping us out, we really want to get this comic rolling but we can't do that without interest and support from wonderful readers like you guys.

Why such a large gap between updates?
General | Posted 9 years ago*Sigh* Okay where to start.
So so sorry for the very very late and lengthy update. To cut a long story short both Caine and myself got hit with the life stick pretty hard last couple of months. Caine was forced to get a new job for a while which really broke his drive and free time to work on the comic. Now he recently got out of it and is slowly trying to work back his motivation he lost, so please send him some kind words to him if you can.
As for me... well, recently we had to put our dog down for aggressive tendencies, he was... a great dog, if misguided and difficult to handle. But circumstances forced us to put him down before he injured someone else inadvertently. We loved him, we know he didn't mean it but we just couldn't handle it and didn't want him to goto a family and have the same happen to them. We made a choice and it was our responsibility.
So yeah, the life stick. It hit and it hit hard for a bit, but hopefully we'll be back on track a bit better now.

Sorry for the delay from December!
General | Posted 10 years agoPhew-, sorry about the extra long wait for the update there! Caine had to deal with a rather troublesome house move. With a result in loss of internet as well as bothersome troubles that come with moving, he had little time to work on the comic.
BUT, here it is, into the new year and our first update! Now that Caine is all settled in it's back to business for writing and arting. On a good note I do have this entire first arc completed and ready! I really look forward to seeing it come up eventually, and I really hope our few readers will enjoy it too.
Comments, questions... complaints (>.>)? We'd love to hear them!

News update, going into the new year!
General | Posted 10 years agoWell, so the year is coming to a close and this will probably be the last update on this side of it. And I feel proud of myself and Caine for getting this far, we know it's only a few comics to show for the moment but we feel confident many more will come in time.
As of right now Caine is currently in the process of moving homes so the next update may come a little later than usual, I think we've been averaging about 2 a month, once every two weeks. Which is pretty good in my opinion!
We are both genuinely curious to how many readers we do have, a few, a couple... a couple hundred? And we're just as curious to know how we are doing, it is only through our potential readers can we discover how successful we might become.
We have a twitter to the right, E-mail above and a Furaffinity and Inkbunny account. Commons good or bad are life to creators like us. So please any opinions you might have please share them with us. Thank you for reading this far.

A little note about update schedules.
General | Posted 10 years agoHi there everyone!
I just wanted to put out a quick little note just so that everyone was familiar with our updating schedule for the webcomic. And to be perfectly honest at this time we do not have a set one, nor a constant day of the week or month about it.
Caine tries his hardest to find time to work on the comic among a lot of the other things he does, but when he does, he puts as much priority on the comic as he can. Despite me trying to tell him to relax about it.
As as result the comic pretty much updates on a Hawaiian time frame, if you've watched the comedian Gabriel Inglasias, you'll know what that means. If not, well it'll update when it updates to put it in a clear perspective.
We thank everyone who's come to watch us so far, and we really hope to get this story out in to the open as soon as we possibly can. And most importantly we hope you'll enjoy it as it unfolds. The comic is only possible, and only as successful thanks to even the smallest number of fans that come to read CKoM.
