I wanted to take a break from digi fullsuits for awhile, but I know it's probably the only thing people are interested in. Does offering heads, partials, and planti fullsuits only push people away? I need to fill enough slots to maintain an income and I'm worried having digi fullsuits closed may turn people away D:

Posted 7 years agoI don't post much here, I am sorry!! I've finished a few things since my last post, I'll see what I can do about getting decent pics of them! Currently I have no way to take nice quality pictures. I'm looking into getting a camera because I am truly tired of devices and their constant running out of storage XD
SO since it's been awhile bear with me, here is a decent sized update! I'll sorta title each thing so if you wanna read only what interests you then you can! X3
NEW JOB!!
That's right!! As of February 13th this year, I am a full-time artist and suit maker! It's very exciting c: So far things have been going great, my biggest struggle right now is just that I have so much fuax fur that I've collected overtime it's taking up so much room XD So you can expect to see pre-mades for sale in the future!!
NEW CH BABIES!
I opened earlier in the year and so I got a nice big queue currently with 12 digi fullsuits, 3 heads, and one body/feet slot! Gonna be a busy year but I am excited to see how all these projects and designs turn out! c: You can see my queue here:

FURSUIT RAFFLE!!
For my normal artwork commissions, adopt purchases, and YCH purchases all customers automatically get customer reward points as a thanks for supporting me and my work! Patreon charges are included in this!! You gain points from completed transactions and you can then exchange those points for a few different options. One is entry into a fursuit raffle. If you'd like to read more info on this raffle and how the reward system works you can find all that here:

I think that's about everything! Tho for those who did read all the way through this: Would you like me to post more here? I don't take many WIP pics but if you want journal updates more often I can do that! I just find it easier to post on twitter. I also have a telegram group chat where I post updates tho I do warn you regular chat goes on there too and sometimes ppl find themselves coming back to a chat with 300+ messages XD But its a fun chat, everyone is super nice and chill! I encourage ppl to post WIPs of their own work, it's a chat for me to post updates and all that but I totally welcome others joining in the fun with sharing their own stuff! I love seeing what other people are working on c:

Creature Haven opens October 3rd!
Posted 8 years agoI have re-organized my site and set up official prices because I am going to make fursuit making a full-time job finally! :D Well, I will still be working 2 days in retail once I get my schedule changed but SOON I will be able to make MORE suits more efficiently and I'm very excited for it! Update about fursuit commissions and future projects!
Posted 9 years agoI have figured out what I'll be doing with fursuit commissions from now on! When I got into fursuits I tried operating much like any full-time maker would right away but I realize that was a mistake! Since I am not a full-time maker, taking on multiple projects and having a big queue sit in front of me just became too overwhelming and stressful! Plus I put a lot of pressure on myself to work as much as I could, sacraficing the fun from suitmaking and aiming more towards completion of each costume with as best quality as possible.
Now that I have learned from this mistake and the fact that I am still not a full-time maker and won't be, I am changing up the way I do commissions!! I will be starting this in 2017! I am soon going to finish up the current digi fullsuit I've been working on, then I have another digi fullsuit that will be done before MFF and lastly on my queue is a digi bodysuit with attached feet. Once my current queue is done I will be working full-time at walmart cos I really need to make more money right now XD That's the main reason I am changing up the way fursuit making will be!
To be as simple as possible, I will from not on take on one costume at a time and work at a slower pace to craft each costume and have fun with it. No more pressuring myself on what should be done when etc.. I will just spend a bit of each day til its done. Updates and WIPs of course will be provided to each customer!
Some more details to go along with this:
-I will be charging material costs and shipping only
-A fullsuit may take as long as 5 months or more, it really depends on complexity
-When I calculate costs I will round up a bit since I don't calculate everything like machinery used and new hot glue guns, shavers, and sewing machines may be necessary in the future and that extra bit will help later!
-I won't be opening publically for new custom orders for awhile
There have been a handful of people in the past that had slots from me but due to stress, the way things were going in life, etc.. I was unable to handle it and cancelled and refunded some costumes. SO before I open publically I am giving these people a chance to get a suit still if they want one! You can see details about this here:

So as you can see I will be making a few suits before I open publically. But if you're super interested in my work you can follow me on Instagram for updates and the waiting list will be added to my queue later once I hear back from everyone and confirm who is on it!
