An end of an era, and the begining of something new.
Posted 5 years agoIt's been quite a long time, over ten years have I been on FA, enjoying the ups and hating the downs, but all in all loving the experience I've gained from exploring the vast depths of the furry fandom in one of the largest websites catered to it.
Now, after eleven years, I decided a change is needed. I know my name has been a plague for me, one that has been an old relic of an ancient time in my life. With new horizons ventured, new contacts gained and old one's lost, much has been changed on my part, and that means changing my username and profile.
In the coming months (not barring the CORVID-19 virus preventing me from doing stuff) I plan to sit down and remake a new account, along with offering writing commissions as well as seeking hybrid ones; stories with commissioned art work. This idea has been spurred as of late with the work on my novels that I seek to publish in the coming months, if not before the end of year.
I thank everyone who followed me and hope you will follow me to my next account, I look forward to seeing your work and following you in turn. You're probably asking "what is the new account?"
I'm working on that, but feel free to follow me here:
https://www.furaffinity.net/user/wulfofsilver/
https://www.furaffinity.net/user/wulfofsilver/
https://www.furaffinity.net/user/wulfofsilver/
This will be my new account that houses my commissioned art-work and whatever else will go here. Eventually there will be a second profile for the commission works and such, so stay tuned for that.
For now, I hope everyone can keep healthy and safe in these tiring times, stay strong!
Cheers!

2019-06-08 Update - Cables & Communites!
Posted 6 years agoGreetings fellow furs to another weekend panic journal. I realize after 5 MONTHS I've not posted anything! Well that's going to change right now!
What has been going on since January 2019? Well, for those who recall, I said I was starting a new job, finally began to make headway in that regard and work has picked up. I've begun to get steady work hours (40/week) and have been learning a lot about the ins and outs of cable running. I also had been given an opportunity to sit in for a assessment trial for the local Electrical union so I hope to finally put my studies to use and become on down the road (An apprentice first anyway). That aside, I like work, hours are good, people are nice, and I'm generally better off than I was before, so huzzah!
In recent news, I've begun to become more active in the furry community in Toronto and starting to get involved in events more. Yesterday I went to the local furry club event known as HOWL which takes place the second weekend of the month at a local bar/dance place. It was so much fun, so much space and saw so many epic people. I really had a good time and will def try to go again next month.
So yeah, that's whats going on right now. I am hoping to find someone to help modify my fursuit hopefully for the last time and getting new additions to it will be something I share with you all at a later point.
Thanks for reading, enjoy your summer!
P.S
NEW STREAMING STUFF
I will be working on my story streaming sessions and gaming sessions more frequently now that my PC is capable and I have the time for it.

The end to 2018, and the dawning of new responsibilities.
Posted 7 years agoWith the 2018 coming to a long close, and many new and wondrous things having taken part in this insane year, I want to take the opportunity to look at what has happened and what is to become of me now that times have changed.
For starters, most who read my last journal had seen me working a new security job at a much better facility. Sadly that job did not last once I started school, and I was working first part-time there before being moved to a site that was far worse, but more on that later.
You noticed school, yes, I went back to college to get a certification to become an electrical apprentice. It's not an easy job, but it's something in demand and something I'd like to try out, certainly a field I'd really want to get some experience with.
Now, that awful job position was basically me sitting on my ass for 12 hours on Sundays, working a dead-end job at a pretty neat location; it was close to home but I wasn't fond of the duties I had, I couldn't walk around, I had to stay in my console seat and had to monitor alarms all day.
It was safe to say I was bored out of my mind. Being at school was the only excitement I had, which is saying something for education, but working at a college to become an electrician was both awe-inspiring and fun. I have no doubt in my mind it's what I want to do.
So now, here I come into 2019 away from Security for good, and working with a Network Installation company, which will teach me a lot more about network wiring that uses some electrical stuff I studied in school.
A good plan, we'll see what 2019 brings when I start full time.
Cheers all

New change in position, new responsibilities...and needles.
Posted 8 years agoSo I was looking at my journal and found that it was woefully out of date, seven months so! Geeze how time has flown since the last time I spoke. There has been so much going on, so many new things happening and above all, so many new possibilities for 2018!
Did I mention Happy New Year to 2018? I already did outside of FA, but never here, so HUZZAH, Happy 2018! May your new year be full of opportunities, success, and good fortune!
So, where to begin? Well, the last journal was in the summer, so I think I should sum up what's happened since then. My current employment has been changed since November, I had looked at my company for new possibilities and had found that there were quite a lot of places I could be working compared to my old job. Having grown tired of it, I decided to see what else I could do, and after talking to managers of my district and recruiters at the office, I was swept into the ready at a new site which I had started in January. The site is apparently a Pharmaceutical site, a place where vaccinations and such are created, as such, I had to get my vaccinations for some of the viruses they keep to make their vaccines.
I've also been going to the gym as often as possible and I've begun to see some results, my siblings tell me I looked a bit tighter, so that's a good thing I guess. I still need to keep going for a steady period of time, but with the change in position and the training and ensure schedule, I've had a little trouble this month.
Hopefully, the coming months to 2018 will be a good chance to grow and find a new calling. My team at this new site are amazing people and I've hit it off well with them as a capable candidate, now to just sort out my times of work and with luck, can get into the swing of things fairly quickly.
Like myself, I hope everyone else who has read this is doing well and is looking to the new year with a positive outlook; there is always a lot to do, never stop trying to do it!

June 25th, 2017 - Change of Summer and much of life.
Posted 8 years agoI'm not sure if many of you have been in this situation, but have you ever felt yourself going in circles without getting anywhere? I feel I'm currently stuck in that sort of situation, one of which that has slowly begun to annoy the ever living crap out of me.
My current job pays the bills, but is boring and monotonous, nothing ever really engages me nor catches my interest to do more than just the bare minimum. I've wanted to move up to a Supervisor position, but the District Manager is a moron. The guy is impossible to nail down, is always at meetings, or never return your calls to follow up. It's not that I haven't done what I need to do to get the position, I have the training to be a Supervisor and have expressed my interest quite frequently in doing it, however, he has told me there were opportunities but he'd have to create them when before he had said there were supervisor positions he needed to fill.
That aside, I'm still waiting to hear from the government job I also applied for, having completed all the testing, interviews, and examinations, it's now a matter of waiting for when they select the new candidates to be trained. This won't be known until Aug-Sept, but I have been hoping they would contact me before then, I wouldn't want to be working and then get an e-mail saying I am hired and would start in a week or so.
What makes this situation harder is I can't go back to school with both these career movements unknown and unsure. I would hate to sort out going back to school and found I got the job or promoted to Sup, so it keeps me stuck where I am, which bother's me greatly.
Hopefully, this will sort out and either the Sup position comes about or the government job goes through, either way, looking ahead and doing what I can to survive!

Posted 9 years agoNews aside about Trump coming into office, I wanted to take a moment to look on this new year looming before us. As we come close to the end of January, it's a good time as any to plan what to do these coming months. For the most part, I've been focusing a lot more on my writing and hopefully plan to publish something, if not at least get the manuscript done. I also plan to try and get out and do stuff with furs and non alike, using such social medias as Meetup.com to find local groups that do things I'm interested in.
Financially it's about trying to keep things stable. Money is tight, so commissioning people might be out of the question for a couple of months. I plan to commish
one last for a project involving my Black Jackal Luzina and my gargoyle Miren. After that, I do not plan on commissioning anyone until I get stability which should come about this year with some reimbursement and subsidy (I hope).
Work wise, things are good. No complaint about that. I've been handed a steady job in a good work environment with good co-workers. I do need to find something more engaging and do plan to follow through with a serious opportunity that I've been able to step into, but it takes time and effort and I plan to see it through.
I know times are hard for a lot of people, so I send my best wishes to you all and hope 2017 is the year of progress and success for the lot of you.

December is Upon us.
Posted 9 years agoI've been rather sparse with activity on FA, I've still kept my work going in the art and writing department, but recently a lot of things have been going on, among which is the current worry of financial standings.
No, I won't ask for money from anyone, I want to work this out myself, it's more of this month and November have been rather heavy on my wallet, which sucks. Besides the usual payments for my house, I recently had a bad luck incident where someone broke into my car and stole a measly five bucks, a lighter and a 6-year-old GPS that hasn't been updated (and would cost 50 bucks to do that).
So, after a considerable amount of funds later to get it replace the same day, I now am trying to figure out my last month's handling of money, which isn't easy. I have another large car payment for the 50k maintenance fee that's coming up in two weeks. Hopefully, I can ask my sister to help pay for it as she uses the car as well and would be nice if she could pitch.
Beyond that, life has been OK, I have my health, my family, and enjoying a steady working schedule. I've been working a LOT on my writing and thanks to NaNOWriMo which I hope everyone who attended enjoyed, will be finishing the first part of my novel I want to publish sometime next year.
I hope everyone here welcomes December, be ready for the bombardment of Christmas cheer and festivities!

Someone who needs some financial assistance.
Posted 9 years agoGood evening everyone.
Like before, my friend
needs your help one more time. She's currently in the process of moving to her own place to get away from a very troubled situation, and she needs help making ends meet. Her art is fantastic and her commission prices are fair for her work. Hit her up sometime, she'll be glad to have it.

Posted 9 years agoWell, since a few other fellows and girls are doing this, might as well jump on the bandwagon and give my take on AC 2016. The last time I had been to Anthrocon was back in 2012, and despite the awesome experience, I didn't have a lot of fun; this year was a lot better on many instances.
Wednesday, June 29
I had booked off June 29 till July 4th from work, after rushing to my folks house on the 28th after work, I was zipped to the airport by my dad around noon. Pre-checking in online the day before is a GODsend, I was able to jump right to Security and made my way through it in less than an hour. I was worried about my fursuit ticking off some alarms (there are two battery packs in it for the light and fan) but fortunately it didn't bing the x-ray system so I was able to go through scott free. With an hour or so to kill before my flight, I decided to buy something for
as he was holding us up in McKeensport, just south of Pittsburgh. With item in tow, I made my way through Toronto Pearson to the far terminal with the smaller craft for shorter travel. Having arrived around 1pm, I was waiting to board when the plane had been delayed half an hour till around 2:15pm. Not so bad, but it gets worse. After everyone boarded and luggage was being stowed, we were told that the ground crew were short handed and that our luggage was taking longer to load than normal. People were getting ansy as we were sitting without moving, and having already pass almost an hour point when we should have left, I could hear folks behind me starting to complain.
To make matters worse, just as we were pulling away, the plane went dead. The power went out, and we had to be towed back into place. Without any AC and now sitting in a hot plane, nerves began to fray, I could hear the two folks behind me complaining quite a bit, but I kept my cool. It seems that the APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) that turns on the big engines on the plane wasn't working, so the pilots were waiting for a crash-cart to boost the craft so it could start. Almost 2 hours after, and now 3 hours past the time we were suppose to leave, we finally take off. The flight was rough and rather taxing, having not only wasted time sitting around, but also wasting
's dads time who had went to pick me up and was waiting since 3pm for me. I didn't get in till 6pm and with traffic in dead heat, I didn't arrive till 7:30pm.
Settled in, and being greeted by my good friend
, I was finally able to relax and get something in my belly. Tomorrow would be one heck of a day, and with on-site registration at 2pm (didn't pre-reg), we had ample time to hang around.
Thursday, June 30
We arrived in Pittsburgh proper around 11:30am, thanks to the low traffic, we were able to meet with a few of Mike's friends along the way. This was the first con I was able to suit in, and being quite excited about it, had started wearing it since we left. The fan inside was a life saver and I thank the designer for her diligent work and going beyond to give me that luxury. We arrived at the con center no later than 1pm after having some lunch and quickly got into line. For anyone who went through the trials that would befall us, I shouldn't have to explain how AWFUL it was. While we were waiting in line, both the computers and the badge printers went on the fritz, so the line went incredibly slow. Along the way, con staff had offered us to pay online and get our badges double quick, which myself and Mike did (Foot had pre-reged) but we found that line to be just as long (if not longer.)
Around 6-7pm, we finally got our tickets, decided to head out for a bite and just chill around the general area. Not much happened this day, so can't really report on anything worth while. I did get to see
in her new suit and commented on how awesome it was.
I also got a chance to see
and spent some time hanging with him. I really enjoyed seeing Spaz, having spoken before on Skype and such, he was a pretty cool dude and went with him to get his Gaming stuff to the Game Room for tomorrow.
After parting ways, we headed home around 9pm, ate dinner at Foot's and then went to sleep for tomorrow.
FRIDAY -AC DAY 01- July 01
The first day of the con, and the three of us arrive at around 11. Most of the con activities we wanted to do started at noon, Mike, wanted to spend his time at the Table Top Game room and I hung around with him. Did some suiting, plaid some Freedom Fighters Tabletop, and just wandered around with Mike for most of the day.
The only downside was my tail straps broke; my belt was too bendy, and caused friction with the straps, making them break. I was able to get some repairs done by
One awesome thing that happened was I got to meet an old friend from FE,
, a roo-mouse who had before wore a partial, was now in a full suit and he looked ADORABLE! It was nice to see him and hang out, but we couldn't stay long since we had to ride back to home Foots place.
SATURDAY -AC DAY 02- July 02
A big day for me at the con, I was going to be part of the Parade. This was probably the craziest thing I ever did, and I loved doing it. I was worried at first, but after being told that the response from the turn out would be unbelievable, I was hyped beyond belief. Going out there, seeing all those people, I was quite amazed by how many supported and enjoyed the fandom. The only downside was my fan had derped (battery dead) but having been use to heat and wearing black clothing (mostly in my highschool years) i was fairly capable of keeping my hydration at good levels and wasn't wasted like many other full-suitors. I have to give mega props to those who wore full dress and went out there, you guys are real troopers and know how to give it your all.
I also went to the Canadian furries meet up, got to meet some new peeps and find a lot of furs from the Ontario area. I found many were from Oshawa, so hopefully I can get a chance to drive up there sometime and hang with them.
SUNDAY-AC DAY 03- July 03
The last day of the con, didn't do much, had to be there early for some table top adventures, but beyond that didn't do much. Walked around with
again and hit the streets of the con area, had some good times and enjoy the company of a few known faces (for example, Clumsy the Lion was there and we got into a Podcast by some guys from 2 Comment or something.)
I left on Monday, flight going home was a lot better than leaving and I definitely cherished the memories I had with my friends.
Here's hoping for NEXT YEAR!

It was nice to see him and hang out, but we couldn't stay long since we had to ride back to home Foots place.SATURDAY -AC DAY 02- July 02
Walked around with
again and hit the streets of the con area, had some good times and enjoy the company of a few known faces (for example, Clumsy the Lion was there and we got into a Podcast by some guys from 2 Comment or something.)I left on Monday, flight going home was a lot better than leaving and I definitely cherished the memories I had with my friends.
Here's hoping for NEXT YEAR!
AC 2016
Posted 9 years agoI've not been to AC since 2011-2012, quite a while to finally decide to get over to Pitts and enjoy the festivities of the con.
Not really much to say, though I'll be venturing forth in my own fursuit partial that I have been waiting for, and with it now in my possession, I'm excited to show it off.
Be sure to keep an eye out for me.

Help a friend who really needs it.
Posted 9 years agoGood evening ladies and gentlemen.
I recently befriended someone who is quite an interesting individual.
AriBear and I have been talking a it, getting to know one another, and I found that she is trying to find support to help pay for a computer upgrade she desperately needs.
I know it may not sound like an epidemic, but everyone deserves to be connected with a computer to the Web and have a work station to do what they love to do.
AriBear is extremely talented at her work, and she uses a good workstation to do it but she needs help as her current computer has ceased to exist.
People are always willing to help people, especially if there is someone depending on the help give to achieve what they need, so give her a look and perhaps a hand, I'm sure she'd be greatful.
Plus her rates are great and you get quite a lot for your support.

Writing Commissions Open
Posted 10 years agoFor the past few months I've seen a rise in Commissioners for Writing craft on FA. Not wanting to be left behind and with a lot of time on my hands, I'm opening my services for writing fanfiction.
I'm open to writing both short stories and long ones, though each has their own limits. For short stories, I try to keep it between 10-15 pages. For long stories, upwards to 20 is the max, but that depends on how much detail will go in after communicating with the commissioner.
Both Smut and Clean stories are doable, however I will not do anything that involves, rape, vore, scat, and anything else that would normally be unsettling; there may be room to compromise, but the idea has to be good enough to merit it. I can also write story-boards for comics if you'd like to have those done too.
Story commission is $15 USD for a 10-15 page story, for anything above 15 pages, it will be $20 USD. All payments can either be given half n'half or payed in full upon completion. Most stories can be done within a week, according to prior experiments in writing. Art trades are also feasible. Please note that cost may change as I am still unsure how much to charge for written material.
If you want a story done, don't hesitate to drop me a line.

The Home Stretch!
Posted 10 years agoWell, with less than five weeks to handle before I return to my homeland of Canada from my experience in South Korea, I've started to reflect on what I've done during my time here.
To start off, anyone wishing to do something like this, teaching in South Korea, I would suggest full heartily to do so, but before you do, you should definitively take time to research your possible position. One thing I've learned about being here is that its quite...different...than the West. Sure, it may have developed with the American mentality, but it lacks the same sort of attitude as the West would; there's a lot of underlying issues that pop up the longer you're immersing yourself with the culture. The biggest concern with anyone wanting to teach here is there are a lot of schools that don't follow the ethics or ideals you may think; places can be horrible to foreign teachers while other's treat them like royalty. It's best to check your place, and see if you can't connect with a foreign or even English speaking Korean teacher to have an idea of where you're going.
Despite those issues, the country itself is wonderful, people are friendly, there is a lot to do and it's quite comfortable to be here since it feels similar to home. Not only that, most of the time children are amazing here; really obedient, wanting to show they can do well. There are the usual troublemakers, but it's fairly easy to get the other students to put that one in line. THe Korean's I've met are also cool; many have been abroad so they have a better mentality of the wider world compared to home-stuck Korean's, One of the big differences is many Korean's known the issues with their country and it makes me feel glad to know my thoughts on it aren't my own.
Suffice to say, Korea is a pretty cool place, and I was able to meet some cool Furry Artists in the process, having a nice time with them. Now, with my time coming to a close, there's still much to do, and with the experiences I've learned and skills I've gained I've really enjoyed myself and am glad to have taken this opportunity. Now, with my plans setting down for my return, I got a new career opportunity I'm looking forward to.

The confusion with rping
Posted 10 years agoOkay, for the past several attempts to rp with people who posted this RP logo
in their biography.
████░░████░
░█░░█░░█░░█░
░████░░████░
░█░█░░░█░░░░
░█░░█░░█░
I've come across a bit of a confusion with what people think RP means, Sure, there are various ways to consider an rp, it can be quick and easy or prolonged and story driven, the problem I find is that people don't seem to realize there is that difference and it bother's me a lot when I try to rp with people only to find them either not capable of it, wanting simply just sex and nothing more, or aren't really strong on being creative for story ideas.
Perhaps this is just me, but when I say an RP, I like to have an rp that has STORY, you know, a background to the whole world that the characters will be playing it. Ranging from medieval fantasy, modern day to even science fiction, these worlds are created often by both sides of the party and allow for the characters within them. It's probably the best way to rp, but also the hardest as characters have to try and stay within the lines of the world and the way things work in it.
This form of RP is my favorite, I enjoy building a world, making scenes and putting on long-standing rp stories with other people, but over the past few months I've seen just a general lack in that idea, and people make me wonder why they even bother having the RP logo.
Now I'm going to talk about what most people, those I've met anyway, think RP means.
Sex.
Simple as that. There is a term for it, Erotic RP, or ERP, which is also totally fine. However, most people who DO ERP do it in a way that urks me; rather than building a story and setting a stage, they simple make it a FIRST PERSON perspective on sex with another person. This...to me anyway is dull and rather bland; there is no world around which the characters are from and when you do make your way with such an rp, it seems to be rather boring.
I've been looking for people interested in deep, detailed and long-running rp's, but my lick with them has been rather sour; either people cannot create a world without one person having to pull most of the strings while other's prefer QUICK rp's compared to building anything to base them on.
IF I come off as rude on this, then I'm sorry. I just felt like making things a bit clear on RP's and hope that, with this little notion, people who are interested in doing detailed, long-running rp's with me will know that I'm always down for it.

Home Stretch of being Abroad.
Posted 10 years agoWell, its come to this, my final two months in South Korea and my contract is winding to a close. It's been one hell of an experience; one that I'm glad to have taken the opportunity to pursue. Now, with a good load of experience, some new friends, a new hobby to follow and a manuscript almost completed, I feel quite ready to head back home. Learning about my skills as a teacher and my capabilities both relaxed and under pressure will definitely prove valuable for my future work experiences; even have something lined up back home already set for when I return.
All in all, been wonderful here, the weather has been great, the experience even greater and I really am glad to have taken it with my head high and my eyes and mind open to new ideas.

Just want to be clean about something.
Posted 10 years agoI've been talking with a good friend of mine and he keeps making me aware that my name MAY not be the best of names in meeting people.
He's got a point, having a name like creepfrombehind doesn't instill much interest, let alone curiosity. Probably more of an unease, if not fearful consideration that this 'creep' will be coming from behind.
Honestly, I really hope it's not as bad as he makes it out to be. Sure it may not be the best name to present, especially since when I often try using my legit name Silver_Wulf its either taken or unable to be used, so going with that is probably the only idea I could use (that or Silvercreep).
I just want to make it clear that you shouldn't really consider the name the biggest issue to judge someone. Sure it may sound odd, but maybe there is an interesting story behind it,
I use CreepfromBehind (CFB) because I've often hung with people and tend to just be the guy behind them all while they walk ahead and mingle among themselves. Maybe its a weird situation to admit, but sometimes I just find myself there, especially when I meet new people, I'm either ahead of them, or behind, and most often never really mingling.
Still, I like the name, its quirky and weird, and if someone is ever interested, it never hurts to ask and give the person a chance. I find it really odd that when someone wants to talk, even if they have a creepy name, never instantly think THEY themselves are a creep; at the end of the day, we're all weirdo's and creeps to someone else, lets not be like that.
I believe the saying is "Don't judge a book by it's cover." the same can go with a name, and I felt I should at least make that idea clear.

Spring is here...
Posted 10 years agoWell...almost.
I'm not sure why, but spring is incredibly early this year for me. Normally in March it's still really cold, and back home in Canada and I often still have to deal with ice and snow. Here's something unusual, in South Korea, spring seems to come early; we've been getting very mild and warm weather. Sunday, when I went airsofting, it was a high of 14 degrees! I never expected to have such warm weather this early in the year. The rest of the week will be similar in warmth; with highs of 5 to 7 and lows of -2, it certainly seems winter is putting on a bit of a fight before it becomes warm full time.
With the coming of spring, it will be the a welcoming recovery from the bitter winter we had here (if any) and hopefully it will give me a chance to lower my insane gas-bill that plagues many Korean' during the final months of winter.
It also marks the first year anniversary of me being in South Korea. Last year at this time, I had been settling into South Korean living and working at my first job. Now, with my new contract set, I have five more months until I wrap up here and head on home, which will bring about some interesting considerations when I want to pack my stuff to leave; especially with my airsoft gear that I've acquired.
Anyway, I'll get to that hurdle when I come to it, and already know what I need to do. For now, time to keep myself ready and keep going with work and chillin and I'll return home with a wonderful bounty of experience.
Still no girlfriend/boyfriend though, oh well, in time....

Looking for rp
Posted 10 years agoI see this a lot, the whole "RP" thing people post on their accounts (I have one to actually) and I couldn't help but wonder if there was any major role-playing group associated with it. I'd certainly love to find a big fur group that deals specifically in role-plays, especially since I'm always looking for people to do it with and to make friends of it.
If anyone is interested in rping, let me know. I use Skype as my format as I can access it a lot easier than FA (at work for example) and would be excited to meet new peeps who want to both learn and have an amazing experience.

Is being single really that good?
Posted 11 years agoI've started to realize I'm quite alone in this world. I may have my online friends and buddies back home, but I don't really have anyone I can call close to me. I look around FA quite a lot and I see many people who have mates, or partners, or what have you and I can't help but feel a bit upset for myself for not gaining such an important factor in my life. Not having someone close, be it just a good friend or more is something everyone should have; you don't need to have a million friends, just a few good ones.
I've seen the meme online about being single "Being Single bought me...." a new computer, a car, a set of games, cool material things, which is neat. But, if you think about it, no amount of materiel wealth or product will ever replace the comfort of having a living, breathing human next to you (dogs and cats don't count).
Perhaps because of recent hiccups with trying to meet girls have been dreary, many times they are either out of a rough relationships, or already in one, or just not interested. Its depressing; having just turned 27 and realizing I've never had a girl or guy-friend for the past 9 years (considered by 18 you should have at least had one GF/BF and potentially one sexual experience.)
Each day I wonder if I'll find the right person for me. Love is a fickle thing, sometimes it just happens, and many ppl I've spoken to have said to just let it roll. Hell, even my Horoscopes said I'd find love in the future; how long I'm not sure. Whatever the thought of it, having someone close would be a wonderful feeling, and I hope eventually that I can find someone right for me. I mean, what do I know about me, I can do a lot of stuff, I'm capable at cooking and cleaning, I love to listen to people and express my feelings to them. I've learned a lot from viewing friends, and resources online that have provided tips and tricks for being a good gentleman and the best way to treat a woman like a lady and a man like a gentleman, and how to make them the center of your life.
Sometime I hope to find the right person for, putting this here just helps me get it off my chest, and who knows, maybe someone here has shown some interest me, would be delighted to find them here too.

New work, New place, New experiences.
Posted 11 years agoSup furs and furettes of FA.
Its been quite awhile since I last posted, much has happened and a lot has come and gone since I wrote about my trip to Korea. To be blunt about things, I had to change jobs from my prior location; it was by a very stupid reason, one that I found to be a common occurrence here in South Korea for Foreign teachers. Lets just say, even if you think an idea isn't going to work and offer a better one, if your co-teacher says to do it, you don't have much choice. I know its not the same in all places, but where I was, I had to do something I didn't think would work; after offering an alternative, I was refused and told to do what was originally asked. Suffice to say, it didn't turn out well and the school had to let me go because of it.
The strange thing was all my kids and even some of my co-teachers were upset that I had to go, let alone the parents of the kids who were surprised. I didn't want to have it that way, but I really couldn't find a way out of it, all I could do was such in my gut and deal with my last 4 weeks on the job. It hurts when you see your kids cry and hug you when they know you're leaving.
But, worry not; despite my work loss, that didn't stop me from hitting the pavement and searching for new places, eventually finding one in a quiet suburban arena south of Seoul in Cheonan. Its quaint, mild weather, and beautiful scenery; a wonderful switch from the hustle and bustle of the big city (cleaner too.) Now, working in a job with older kids and a great criteria, I've been enjoying the past month or so of new employment and know my new year contract will be well worth the labor to find it.
Aside from that, I've been taking up drawing very seriously as of late, and a lot of changes and practice sessions have led me to create a whole new way of looking at my work and drawing my art. Since I don't have a scanner, I can't really do much, but I plan to buy a cheap one eventually and slap it to this PC and scan what I've done.
I hope everyone is doing fine and hope to show you some of my work in the coming months.
Cheers.

Posted 11 years agoI haven't posted in ages, geeze I'm falling behind.
Well, hello fur and furettes of the grand internet place of FA. For those who recall my prior journal, I had said I was going to South Korea to teach English; that was quite a while ago and I can safely say that it's become a reality. I've been a month into my contract working as an English teacher in a Hogwan (Private School) and I've already begin to immerse myself in the cultrue of South Korea.
I'm going to keep this short, lot has gone on, up's and down's, but for the moment, I've begun working a lot more on my art. The downside; I have no scanner to scan them. I need to take a trip to any number of tech-malls here to find one, so I might do that sometime this month.
There is a Blog I made to note on what I've been doing; feel free to check it out and follow along. Most of what I do is posted there, most often every other week or so depending on what I can gather as the theme for that week and what has happened. In any case, check it out, you might find some interesting tidbits if you decide to travel to South Korea.

I'm also planning to work more on my stories; I know I have at least 3 short stories and 1 novel to work on, so hopefully I can get my head to a more disciplined state and actually work on them. I did tell myself I wanted to come home with a full sketchbook and most of those stories done, and since I have a year, I KNOW I have both the skill and time to complete em.
Wish me luck! For now, it's off to work!
Cheers!

Big News - Life changing of 2014
Posted 12 years agoHappy [Belated] New Years to all you fur and furettes of the FA interwebs! Its finally here, 2014! Another brand new year to call our own, a new slate to work on for this years resolutions, and projects!
Aside from the Hoorah of the celebration, I have some very interesting news. As of December 27, 2013, I've been officially accepted to teach English abroad in South Korea. I'm both excited and terrified at the same time; for one ting its going to be a WHOLE new experience for me, a new place, new responsibilities, and new chances to both meet new people and immerse myself in a different culture. I'm scared though because its some place really far away from friends and family, and the fact its 9 hours ahead of my normal time zone, its going to be a tad tricky to get in conversations with people [not going to stop trying though].
Maybe some of you are wondering why, 'why did he do that?' well, to be honest, I've been wanting to do this for almost 2 years, considering it started back in 2011 when I had graduated University and had no real job to go to. My friend had suggested to teach abroad and got me in touch with a Korean company that provides English teachers from Canada, US and the UK to teach in China, Japan or South Korea. I was interested and did all I could to get sorted with them, but it sadly turned into a dead-end and nothing came of it.
Since then however, a lot of people I've spoke with knew others, friends and family, who've taught abroad there and all say its one of this 'life changing experiences', and considering I was getting rather tired of not going anywhere in my current job, I decided to invest once more in searching for a teaching job abroad, and after months of searching, researching, communicating, discussing, interviewing and follow-ups, I finally got accepted to teach abroad, starting in March of 2014.
I'm still gitty for the possibility of going overseas to teach, not only will this be a very rewarding experience for me, but I plan to also gain some incite into Korea Culture as well as develop my teaching skills which have been a bit dusty since my Swim Instructor days. It also helps to write something like this on your CV, as well as potentially help me get into Teachers Collage, one of my older goals I wanted to do post my graduation.
Still, there's a lot to be done, and even though I know what I need to do, I'm still frantic; excitement and worry both fill me, but I've got to follow some wise words of my mum 'just go with your gut, don't always think.'

Halloween Shenangians
Posted 12 years agoYou know, I never minded Halloween much, sure the Treating was wonderful when I was a kid, but now as an adult, I see a lot more of the Trickery that happens with this 'holiday', such that I am actually offended by what people tend to do.
Teenagers, more or less people around that age, tend to find the holiday a perfect excuse for being delinquent. Such an example was a group of them making a loud ruckus in the front yard and then going as far as smashing the pumpkin that I carved for the holiday and throwing bits at it at the house.
I woke up this morning to find the last piece on the roof just below the bathroom window... teenagers, they can be a real bother. I'm going to be honest, but had I not been such a chill person, I may have loaded up my Paintball Marker and gone out and blasted them in the butt, let them know they can't do that crap in my neighborhood.
Still, the treaters who come about always know how to make good costumes, and the night wasn't so bad aside from the rain. All n'all, not such a bad night.

Seeking a Comic Artists for a story.
Posted 12 years agoThose who know of the "Tale of a Darkess" story https://www.furaffinity.net/view/11692463/ might recall I had mentioned I wanted to get it turned into a comic. Currently, I'm nearing the half-way point and want to try and finish it by the end of the month so I want to give a shout-out to any artist whose willing to make a few bucks turning one of my stories into a comic. I've yet to find the right style/artist for the job so I'm just giving a general "Hey, I need someone to do this for me!"
The story in total is 7-8 chapters in lenght, will invovle a large number of dragon/monster like females who are both well endowed and musclar, so knowing some basics of muscle or 'thickness' of form is a must. There are also a few sexual scenes and a lot of fighting; being able to handle a decent spectrum of poses and actions is required and know a lot of people out there do very well with it.
I say again, you will be compensated for it, but I don't want someone (or a group) who cannot handle the task of focusing on this project from start to finish. Thats why if you wish to do it, you must be willing to spend a month or two straight on this project.
If you're interested, drop me a line and some references and then we can discuss the important issue's of this comic.
