After like...2...almost 3 years...I FINALLY have the money to go to another con again!

I'm like crying right now, I'm so happy. I miss my peeps so much, and I feel so lost and out of touch with everyone, I fully intend to make the most of this. Never again will I take going to cons for granted.

Also, this will be Dylan's first furry con ever so....let's give him hell! >D <3

And if so, do you need some slots for a hotel room filled? Two slots, actually!

Both me and Dylan are very respectful, no drugs, good hygiene, and can pay our share of the room in cash once we arrive. However I do ask that whoever we room with, please respect the fact that we are in a closed relationship. We also don't mind room parties as long as we are notified in advance, Otherwise, I don't really feel comfortable with a lot of people I don't know coming and leaving the room...because I have some expensive stuff that I would rather not go missing. I also don't like to cram too many people into one room. No more than 4 people total please.
I also would be willing to make a badge for you and other roommates!

I really miss drawing, but I realize that I suck at it, and everything I try to do comes out looking really stupid, and makes me so frustrated that I start to cry, or it doesn't convey my emotions clearly enough and it just lacks...depth.

I also lack a lot of time to sit and work my way out of this block :C

Merry belated Christmas everyone!

My mom asked me what wanted for Christmas months ago, and I just told her to browse the Squishable website and pick one that she thought was cute to surprise me (because I am 7 years old, and I am still a stuffed animal junkie :P)

I named him Stormy, and I can't stop snuggling him!

However, the highlight to my Christmas day was spending Christmas dinner with my boyfriend and his family. His mom made homemade white chocolate fudge! Plus they always treat me like part of their own family, they include me in everything, all of their traditions and it always makes me happy and smiley the whole time (:
Oh, and as a bonus, his mom let me take a copy of her celtic christmas cd home! n.n

I asked my dog to give me a kiss, and he did this big huff instead.
So I said, 'He just huffed at me!'
So Dylan goes: 'He huffed and he puffed, and he blew your hopes down.'

So, I was just thinking about how well my fursona Crimes' species fits me so super well, and thought it would be interesting to share.

Reasons how I'm like a GERMAN SHEPHERD
- I'm prone to bouts of anxiety, especially when over stimulated (good or bad)
- I catch on fast, and once I am focused on a task, it's pretty much unbreakable.
- I am shy and wary of new people
- I'm friendly, but I really only get fiercely protective over a handful of my closest friends and family.
- I don't like change, and notice when even the smallest details are different.

Reasons how I am an ALIEN
- I'm a very scientific type of person. I always ask questions, and love to know how things work.
- Ever since I was little and went to counseling after my father died, I've always complained, and felt like I didn't 'belong' here. Things that most people don't think twice about seem incredibly strange to me - especially habits people have. I also don't understand people's logic a lot of the time.
- I'm incredibly empathic, and extremely sensitive to my surroundings. I love meditating and being outdoors because of this.
- I am allergic to most of your earth food. xD (I'm lactose and gluten intolerant.)
- I have an abnormal heartbeat...it's not dangerous in any way, just a different rhythm than 90% of the population. (according to my doctor)

I've had my shit packed, and I've been living between houses for MONTHS now. Do you know how hard it is to get shit done when you don't know where anything is half of the goddamn time?

My depression and anxiety has come back, and with a vengeance. There is a huge mental block in my brain where 'communicating with others' is supposed to be. Whenever I get a message or call from a friend, my mind goes blank, I have a panic attack, and I have not the slightest clue how to respond. This is very uncharacteristic of me.

I just got over being sick for a week, and taking care of my boyfriend who got sick after me. Luckily, I didn't have to miss any days of work, but there were days where I felt like killing myself because I was a walking sick-zombie.

My best friend is now broken up with her boyfriend of 2 years. She moved to Arizona with him, and is now stranded. She's coming home on the 28th, but has literally nothing. I'm trying to help her out as much as I can.

And now, my childhood dog has died yesterday. He went blind on saturday, and then yesterday he had a violent seizure, so we took him in to be put down...there was no way he would ever recover from one that severe. I got him christmas of 2001...so he lived a good life...I mostly feel bad for my grandfather who adored that dog. In fact, they loved each other so much that I gave Copper to him, and since he lives across the street, I still got to see him every day.
My grandfather never went anywhere without that dog. It's so hard to see him now, all he can do is cry, and I've never seen my grandfather cry before.

I just...I feel like I'm at such a loss. I just want to scream at the sky until all of this stops. I just want EVERYTHING to stop. I want time to myself. I need time to process. I need to figure out what the fuck I'm going to do with my life and everything in it.

I just need time...

Okay, this is really frustrating because I don't have a lot left that I have to do commission-wise, but working at my new job zaps the majority of my energy from me. I don't even doodle in my sketchbook anymore, which is rare for me. :C

I KNOW I will get accustomed to this, but waking up at 5:30 and working an understaffed job until 2, then trying to stay up late for my boyfriend is really wearing on me right now. :x

I have weekends off, so those are my scheduled art days left, so it will just be kinda slow.

After I get done what I owe, I think I'm going to pull back from commissions for awhile, except to pay for Apollo's food, and just stick with personal pieces until I feel less overwhelmed.

Hey, but on the bright side, at least I have a reliable income now!

I just landed the job I've been wanting (:
It's part time, and I'll be working two or three 8 hour days a week.

Need to get my physical (tomorrow) before I figure out my actual schedule. But I'm really excited!
I'll be taking less commissions, but will have more time for personal art!
(Don't worry, I'll still need commissions to pay for groceries)

Okay so a few announcements.

1.) I only have like 3 commissions left on my list, and all of them are at least started, with 2 of them mostly completed.

2.) I've been working on a few sketches for a 4.0 suit version of Crimes coming up :3 New patterns, exciting new ideas, and hopefully a bodysuit with this one! (If I can figure out how to install a zipper lol)

3.) I am now an unofficial co host on FurCast. For those of you who don't know what that is, check out: FurCast.fm It aires live every saturday at 8:15 (lol) The IRC chat is always fun too, you should totally come next week and say hi! 8D I can post a reminder next week if you guys want.

AND FINALLY, this move has been taking FOR FUCKING EVER, but we're finally winding down with it. Just need to get the gas line hooked up to the stove and my office room painted so I can move in my computer and I'll be back in business 100%!

So annoying to live between houses...like seriously.

The past...like 4 mornings now, I've woken up with the middle joint on the fingers of my left hand only, feeling incredibly stiff, and VERY PAINFUL. Last night, I even woke up in the middle of the night in tears because it was so bad.

I'm calling my doctor today but...god I'm so scared. Why the hell do I have GI issues and now joint issues of a 60 - 80 year old woman...when I'm only 23?

I'm so frustrated and scared I can't stop crying.

Just finished my crazy 2 weeks of working at the fair. It was full time, with no days off, it was outside, which was nice except that I ended up with sunburn for the first half, and windburn for the second x.X My face is still healing LOL

It was fun though. Would I do it again? I can't say for sure. It was definitely the people that made the job worthwhile. I came into the job feeling alone and afraid, thinking that everyone hated me, and I left the job with a handful of new friends (: I'd say that it was a win!

If nothing else, this job taught me how to socialize better with people. I felt so awkward about it at first! But by the end of the job, I was chatting it up with strangers and making people smile - even off the job!


SO, with all that aside, I'm getting back into my drawing, solitary groove...wow what an adjustment lol.

It's a good gig though, I'll end up with over a grand, which will really help me out with my rent since commissions seem to be a flop.
