CrinkleCat here. Starting this month, I'll be providing some updates about what's happening in my neck of the woods on a monthly basis. I know the monthly update is a little on the late side for June, but a few things have been going on. My update schedule is a little out of whack and I believe my followers deserve an explanation.
SICK DOG
Remember when I briefly opened up for story commissions about a month ago? I was hoping to raise money for my pup, who's been dealing with medical issues that don't seem to be getting better. Though she's a fighter and is trying her best to manage, pup won't be able to live much longer without making more visits to the vet. And more visits means more money that I don't have. Right now, my priority is to support her and that support involves working harder to pay those bills. Story releases are delayed for now.
NEW PATREON REWARDS
This month, I dove straight into releasing new "Deacon" chapters until life got in the way. I'm planning to diversify my stories a bit by releasing some standalone original stories, but each story will be accompanied with art that I commission. I'm hoping this will attract readers and give them something visual to go along with the story. I have reached out to a few artists and they've agreed to work with me. Will provide more information about these stories at a later date.

CrinkleCat here. I got an opportunity for my +watchers and followers that I'd like to share.
Yesterday, my golden retriever had to go to the vet because she was extremely ill. Several hours of blood work, x-rays, ultrasound and lots of medication later, I'm now down $475. And there's a possibility that if she doesn't recover in ten days, she'll likely have to undergo surgery. As someone who is in between jobs at the moment, this is distressing, to say the least.
And so, I decided to do something I recently said I wouldn't do and that's story commissions. YES, YOU READ CORRECTLY! STORY COMMISSIONS!
So here's the price rundown and the rules.
I'm charging $15 for every 1,000 words.
If you commission me for a 5,000 word story, you'll qualify for a price break and save $10 (cost with discount is $65).
If you commission me for a 10,000 word story, you'll save $20 (cost with discount is $130).
For now, I'm offering three (3) slots. Slots will close and deal will expire Wednesday, May 8 at 12:00 a.m.
Rules: I won't write stories that include direct scat, violence, gore or involving cubs. I may have forgotten a few no-nos, which is why I'll need you to send me a note, DM me on Twitter and contact me on Telegram with your idea. If the idea is workable, I'll discuss payment options and a timetable for completion.
Will write to help my beloved dog. It's for a good cause!

While this page hasn't shown a whole lot of activity, my Patreon is now taking off! I have a new story available to read right now for patrons called "Road Trippin' Ft. Krev." This story is one of many I'll be releasing on Patreon before it's released on FA after two weeks. These stories are generally longer than the ones I typically publish on here for free and there's a lot more crazy action going on.
Oh, and the long-awaited Pamper Pound #1 will be available on FA for free on May 1. Yes, you read correctly: it's finally making its debut in a few short weeks.
On that note, I won't be taking commissions anymore. Sorry, guys. Originally, I thought the YCH process was a little more streamlined, but I found myself obsessing over making sure I get other people's fursonas accurately portrayed. I've had a few experiences in the past when people would read over my draft and say, "My character wouldn't exactly do things this way" or "My fursona doesn't talk like that" and I've gone through enough draft revisions to trigger nervous breakdowns. Fursonas are deeply personal to people. Having someone else bring them to life and striking a balance between the fursona creator's vision and the author's creative vision can be difficult. With Patreon, my creativity is unrestricted. Patrons will subscribe to read my uncompromising vision. And so far, it's working out great! In fact, it's working out better than expected.
The upside is I'm no longer concerned about publishing free work, now that people are supporting my Patreon. No more grousing.

Starting this month, I will be providing monthly updates for CrinkleCat. And here we go!
Life Happens
For the past month, I've been working on a number of non-furry freelance projects. Been productive but busy. That's why the weekly releases stopped temporarily. I'm hoping to bring them back soon!
Pamper Pound #1
I have a working draft for Pamper Pound #1 and it's now in the editing process. Once the editing process is done, I will share the draft with everyone who secured a YCH slot.
Commissions
People have been asking me about commissions for a while now. While I'd love to take your money, I will not be taking commissions for the foreseeable future. Unlike art, which captures a scene or a limited amount of scenes (like a comic), a story has many moving parts. My creative vision for these moving parts don't always comply with the people who commission me -- people who have a specific vision of what they want. Every time I collaborate with someone on a commission basis, there's a rigorous back-and-forth process that is time-consuming. I'm more comfortable with having YCH character slots because it's a healthier compromise: there are characters that want to be part of the story I want to tell. The only collaboration required is with character development, not plot devices and scenework.
That's about it! Expect more stories to come shortly!

CrinkleCat is a free AB/DL and babyfur story archive. However, there is a Patreon for anyone who wants early access to stories before they're published. Early access starts at only $5/month!
To ensure that CrinkleCat continues to be free, I will be developing stories featuring products from AB/DL retailers. Some of my stories will also be sponsored by retailers. From the onset, I want to be transparent about this policy for a few reasons.
Though CrinkleCat is a passion project for me, I believe my work merits monetary value. One complaint I received from other authors in the genre is that I've hesitated to properly monetize my content; that I've consistently devalued my work because of my insistence of publishing everything for free. In the fandom, authors and artists monetize their work with commissions. However, story commissions are a lot more rare and hard to consistently deliver. I've done a number of story commissions, with some of them literally taking years to finish because I have trouble combining my creative narrative vision with what the commissioner wants. I feel more comfortable producing original content. This leaves me in a position where I'm left with a few options. I've started offering character slots in original stories on a YCH basis, which I believe is a healthy compromise for those who generally prefer commissioning content creators. By having a product placement policy, I'm able to develop the revenue I need to continue producing content with value.
I also want to support AB/DL businesses and give readers a sense of what their products feel like in addition to describing what they look like. Starting in January 2019, AB/DL retailers will be able to contact me for sponsorship opportunities. In some cases, I will *cough* sample their product and incorporate that experience into fictional work. Other cases, these businesses can pay a nominal fee to have their business sponsored in the story description and/or their product is mentioned. I'm currently speaking with a few retailers. Anyone who is interested in sponsorship opportunities can send me a private message on here or contact me on Telegram.
Of course, if you like my stories, I also accept PayPal donations. Donate any dollar amount you like!

"Tales of the CrinkleCat" are based on true stories in my life. However, just because the stories are based on something doesn't mean all the events and details described are accurate. Obviously, the erotica is where the creativity comes in. I wish my life was just as interesting. The great thing about writing is the ability to be inspired based on your personal experiences and to incorporate real-life elements into stories. This makes stories believable and relatable.

Introducing CrinkleCat

My name is CrinkleCat!
Some of you may know me by my older account, which is lionstories.
In case you're stumbling on my stories for the first time, allow me to tell you a little bit about me. I'm a professional writer and author that's spent the last decade penning a number of stories with adult baby/diaper lover ("AB/DL") and babyfur themes. I've penned well over a hundred stories that contain several sub-themes, including pants-wetting, pants-messing, diapers, watersports, ageplay and various aspects of infantilism. My stories are exclusively for ages 18 and over.
So why did you stop producing stories as lionstories?
I wanted to start fresh, work on my name-brand recognition and produce content for my target demographic, which I cultivated over time with my previous account. I produced different varieties of anthropomorphic fiction and erotica, but what I ultimately became known for was my AB/DL content. My goal is to publish work that readers ultimately buy, including graphic novels and comics based on my work. I intend to work with many of our talented babyfur artists to produce quality, crinkly fiction.

My name is CrinkleCat!
Some of you may know me by my older account, which is lionstories.
In case you're stumbling on my stories for the first time, allow me to tell you a little bit about me. I'm a professional writer and author that's spent the last decade penning a number of stories with adult baby/diaper lover ("AB/DL") and babyfur themes. I've penned well over a hundred stories that contain several sub-themes, including pants-wetting, pants-messing, diapers, watersports, ageplay and various aspects of infantilism. My stories are exclusively for ages 18 and over.
So why did you stop producing stories as lionstories?
I wanted to start fresh, work on my name-brand recognition and produce content for my target demographic, which I cultivated over time with my previous account. I produced different varieties of anthropomorphic fiction and erotica, but what I ultimately became known for was my AB/DL content. My goal is to publish work that readers ultimately buy, including graphic novels and comics based on my work. I intend to work with many of our talented babyfur artists to produce quality, crinkly fiction.
