Hello all, I'm sorry I've been so quiet of late. Life has been a mix of good and bad since last we spoke. A lot of good up until recently, but right now its a lot of bad. 😭

My partner a few months back collapsed during work and had to take a few days off to get cat scans/xrays to see what had happened. The doctors still haven't figured it out but he couldn't take any more time off of work to continue to seek answers. Copays had to be paid on top of losing hours at work really fucked us over. He took 4 days off in total to see doctors, and in doing so; we fell so behind. We thought we were finally gonna start actually catching up on bills. Things were looking up, we were still behind on rent this month but it felt manageable. Then our water was turned off this morning and we were forced to pay all the back owed bill as well as a reconnection fee. Even though we NEVER got any mail telling us we were behind or that we were at risk of being shut off. If we had I would have bit the bullet and paid it off before the extra reconnection fee became a thing.

Right now we are $330 short on rent that is due in 2 days, and $300 behind on our other bills [Electric, trash, internet]. I am beyond stressed and I am reaching out on all of my platforms asking for help. My commissions are wide open, I have a kofi if anyone wants to donate. Characters I am willing to sell, I will also do custom feral designs for Pwyw prices. I just really need to get everything back on track so we can stop playing catchup. The stress is taking its toll on my mental and physical health. Always owing money and feeling like each paycheck just isn't enough to dig us out of this hole, having to go to family and friends to help. Its just getting to be too much I can't keep doing this.

Even if you can't commission me, perhaps sharing with those you know who might be interested in my art, anything will help honestly.

So, yeah, like the Title says. My S/O has tested positive for Covid (and quite possibly I have it as well, I haven't started to show symptoms yet but I'm hoping I've managed to avoid it.)
He will be out of work for at least 2 weeks, and that means that we are out both of his checks that would have been used to pay off bills.
So I'm asking for help. I'm taking as many commissions as I can to make up this loss in paychecks so we don't fall too far behind.

So a lot has happened this last month honestly! We moved out of that awful apartment we were living in and frankly I couldn't be happier. My mom and dad helped us with the moving fees for this trailer, and we have SO MUCH MORE SPACE NOW. The move was very rapid and stressful, I managed to sprain my leg during the move, but it is better now. We've been here for about a week now I think, maybe a bit longer? Time is funky lately.

It is really giving me a lot of inspiration to get back to work fulltime. Once everything is all unpacked here I will likely be getting back to streaming! I'm not sure if I should continue on picarto or if I should try twitch? What do yall think? I'm hoping to make it easier for peeps to join in on streams, and it seems like twitch might be the way to do that. Schedule I'm thinking Monday/Thursday unsure on times, but those days seem like they'd be best. Maybe Fridays as well.

Hey guys! Happy New year! This last year for me has been a mix of horrible and amazing, as most years are I suppose lol. I'm far more mentally stable than I have been in years past, and I find myself feeling more hopeful than I used to. I lost very close friends this year, which broke me for a while but I have rebuilt myself and surrounded myself with incredibly supportive people. I found my passion for Table Top games this year, I've played for 3 years but this year was the year I really got into it.

This year has been my least productive than any year since I started working with art, but I feel like I've made FAR more progress with learning than usual. So I don't feel so bad about it. I hope I can have both in this coming year, but I won't beat myself up about it if I don't.

I hope this year to be able to get myself a new computer to be able to stream again, and maybe even get my Zine and sticker ideas into solid form!

I really hope yall have a good year, and thank you so much for sticking with me through my quiet times, I appreciate it more than I can express! :)

Sorry for the silence dears, I haven't had much to report as of late. Sorry for the radio silence as of late, been doing a lot of personal work, I plan to do a large post with the art I've been doing lately. I've been kinda scattered with all the projects I'm juggling right now.

So I'm thinking of doing some Halloween themed adoptables but I'm not sure what to go off of, there are just so many I feel like it'll be easy to accidentally replicate someones designs without meaning to. I've considered doing unique creature designs but I don't know how much a of a market there is for them? Any opinions on adoptables, and what you'd like to see from me as far as species/type of adopts?

I am also planning on doing a YCH for halloween/fall, I'm thinking about scenes I can do but I'm not really sure which to do. I've got ideas for Werecreatures, demon summoning, peaceful forest strolls...I may end up doing a few different ideas. Do you guys have any preference on what kind of YCH I do, or should I offer a Halloween themed sale instead?

Good evening my dears! I apologize for not updating my journals as frequently as I used to, I found that doing so on a monthly basis was a lot to remember, so I am sticking to a random journal update schdule.

I am finally back in full swing it seems with my art! Been drawing daily, working on adoptables and commissions as they come in. I'm happy to finally be back and feeling good. Thank you all who have recently began to watch my account, and those who have been following me for a long time now. I appreciate you all!

Streaming isn't really an option as of late I am afraid, as my computer has been on the fritz and does not hold the stream for long, even going as far as to randomly shut the streams off as I am working. So I have decided to suspend streaming until I can afford a new computer. I appologize to those who enjoy my streams, it has just become far to frustrating to stream and have my computer freezing/lagging/shutting off the stream. I hope you understand!

So for now I am taking commissions out of stream, Work in progresses are sent on the sketch, rough color, and finished stages for approval.

FA has started this cool new thing called Shinies, and honestly, I think its REALLY nifty! I have enabled them because I think its a really cool way for people who like an artists work to support them.

What is everyone's opinions on Shinies? I think its a really cool new feature.

Also, I have several pictures in the works, I just have to finish owed work before I can work on any of the other personal works or stream. Hopefully, soon I'll have my owed work done, and can get back to streaming and posting regularly :)

So yesterday was my birthday, turned 26 lol. I wasn't on the computer much. It was a fun time, spent time with family and my twin, have a radio now so I don't have to play music on my comp where my comp will explode if I'm streaming. Zach got my some movies and books.

I am hoping this monday I can do a stream, I have a late night tomorrow but hopefully I'll get enough sleep to stream the next day. I've been having a very hard time motivating myself to draw more that a scribble here and there. I've been feeling terrible lately mentally, but I'm working on kicking myself in the ass to work either way.

Hello all, I realized that I haven't put a journal up here on this new account yet! For those of you who don't know I moved from my old account to this account quite recently. I am having a good time on this account so far, though I realize I am not streaming as much as I should. Since quitting my dayjob I have found myself both in a great mood, but also falling into old depressive habits such as sleeping too much and having difficulty focusing and self-motivating to sit down and work. But! I am working towards getting into a better cycle with my sleep, and trying to find a good schedule for streaming.
