Gonna Do Some Sketches Soon

So Haru had a last minute trip arranged by his dad, so I'll be alone for the weekend, but I'll also be very
uncomfortable with using his mom's car. As well as we don't have our car with us, so I'm trying to get
some snacks and food saved up for while Haru is away. Anyways, I'll be doing some more 10$ sketches
in a bit, but right now, I'm just catching up on some work. :>

I'm really enjoying it. Haru is just being a big poostain and not actually trying. >8C
But those people complaining about having to pay for the new version are making me
laugh. The tools work differently as well as new mediums were added. A LOT more was
added to the program. People paid less than 10$ for a simplified version of it. I'd say it's
fine being priced at around 30$ for the full thing.

If you're an artist who uses the family gifting purposes just to avoid the paypal fees,
now's about time to change that unless you'd like to get charged with 2500$ fine. If
Paypal catches you, you're in deep shit. Either change your prices to deal with the fee,
or just accept the fee. :x

General | Posted 10 years agoI was supposed to do a sketch stream on Thursday. But it was my bday. ; v ; So I decided to spend
most of the day just being a lazy princess. I went and treated myself and Haru to some Cold Stone
ice cream, then just fell asleep. Allergies have been kicking in so I've been tearing up and sneezing
left and right. Most likely cuz its been windy.
Anyways, the laptop is being a turd, but I've found a good but cheap replacement! For the time being
a good friend of mine has lent me hers until mine comes in. I will begin sketching again either tomorrow
or Monday. But I'll also try to finish up my remaining owed pieces. So that way I can completely focus
on sketches and SL work. Tho I'll take a few larger images here and there. :>

Okay, so I've been trying to figure out how to write about this. As I didn't want to seem
like I was just looking to cry about bad news. As of about a week ago, I became homeless.
Currently, I am staying with Haru, but even than I don't want to push my luck staying
because there are many factors that just make it difficult to live here for the both of us.
To make matters worse, my laptop is on its final laps. It can barely function during sketch
streams, let alone function during offline work. It's overheated a few times in the middle
of sketch streams and it's only going to get worse with summer getting closer.
I'm hoping that I can start making around 1k$ per month with sketch streams as a lot
of people really enjoy my sketches. I am completely okay with this. :> It's a comfort
for me as well as allows me to get things done quickly as well as allows the customer
to see it being done. I've always had trouble with time with my work, but streaming
really helps me along. So I will be moving all future commission/stream work to an
account I reserved a while ago(a few of you may have already found it)
I will still be posting commission work here, but sketch stream wise, I will be posting
everything over there. I'll still be posting the stream announcement here, but only
through a journal.
On another note, as much as donations would really help, I would honestly prefer tips
for my work. I feel that receiving money for work I've done just fuels me more and
brighten my spirits. Especially with my current situation. Thank you for reading and
thank you so very much for your support(or future support!). :>

Not going to lie, as soon as I found out, I was ready to just jump ship. But I decided to
wait and see what's going on before I make any decisions. If it honestly just means
that IMVU is helping to support progress maid for the site, then sure why not. But if
anything starts to feel fishy(even though it already does), I'm gone. But I will wait
for now.

I apologize for disappearing. I had started working through what remained in my hold. Took a break
to try out the multiplayer for Dont Starve since we were gifted some codes prior to the early access
release, and I received a phone call from my mother. My grandfather was in his final hours. He was
going in and out of consciousness due to medication for the pain. He passed away this last Tuesday
sometime around 5 or 6pm. I was merely 20 minutes away from the hospice he was in.
My grandfather was a father to me. It was always my grandpa and grandma when I was growing up
instead of "mom" and "dad". My father didn't want anything to do with me or my mom, and my
mother had joined the military to have some sort of income, especially since our town is kind of
dead end. I'm struggling with losing him. Sometimes I'm fine and can laugh. Other times I just
crumble when I remember I can't just walk over to his room and talk to him about old movies or
watch the Pink Panther with him. I can still hear his voice clearly when I look at his belongings
and it just hurts knowing he won't be here anymore to make wise cracks at us. He won't be charming
the nurses unintentionally at his doctor appointments and he won't be telling everyone to save their
money. I must have been drinking gallons upon gallons of water to keep from dehydrating because
of how much we've been crying. And I remember, when we were feeling upset, he used to tell us,
"Have a glass of water." Because to him, a glass of water fixed everything.
I will be getting back to work asap. But right now, I can barely even get out of bed. I'm sorry. I
will be going back to work right after the 25th. That is the most time I will be giving myself to
mope around like this. I have learned so many things about his life that he didn't really share
because he was a person who didn't talk about his life unless asked very specific questions. But
the things I have learned about him have inspired something in me that I wish to take into myself.

Hey you! YEAH. YOU. WITH THE FACE. LOOKING FOR A REF SHEET? MAYBE WANTED TO FLESH
OUT THAT CHARACTER FINALLY? YEAH? WELL CHECK THIS SHIT OUT. I've been working on a
ref sheet base. Been playing with this idea for a while. And you know what? I need cash for bills.
Normally I'm doing refs at around 30+$. BUT. BUT. BUT. Hear me out. I'm doing ref sheets
of a front and back view, PLUS two headshots and one detail shot. Mind you I would have charged
45$ for this.
I am doing a special for base ref sheets for front view, back view, 2 expression headshots, and one
extra detail shot(you can use this for an extra expression shot as well). Mind you, there will be a PG
version and MATURE version. This for just 25$. Oh. Not just that. When I do finalize
this ref sheet base and put it up for the public, all customers who purchased the ref sheet before public
release will receive a subscription to the base for free. So if interested, please comment below or
