Posted 10 years agoSo as many of you might not know, I am a certified massage therapist (none of that happy ending stuff). I was working in a spa, but after about three months they weren't booking me many clients. Around August, I started working at another spa. I worked there for a week, then there was an eviction notice on the door. So I continued looking for work. I found a spa closer to my house and got a job there. They promised me a steady stream of clients and a full time contractor position. I quit my job at the first spa to pursue this. I came in everyday, even if I didn't have clients. After working at this new place for about a month, yesterday (9-30-15), I get a call from one of the owners saying they're letting me go because the spa doesn't have enough traffic and they didn't see the value in keeping me. So once again, I'm jobless. I am looking for a job now, but I am very much down in the dumps.

It's like no one knows how to read anymore. And the whole, "We're Furries, we're supposed to do this," comment, that is bullshit. We're not supposed to do anything. Posted 12 years agoNo matter how many times it happens, it never gets any easier. My family has suffered the loss of our third pet Luna. She was an Australian Cattle Dog. Luna was our other dog, Kari's companion. They were always together, sleeping, playing, going crazy, always together. Neither of them were ever good with cats.
Luna passed this morning around 5:45 AM MST. I think Kari knew it was coming, at least she got to spend one last night with her best friend. And even though my cats never really got along with her, I can see in their eyes that they know Luna isn't coming back.
We're all devastated over the loss of our third pet, but we knew it was coming. Luna lived a long 14-15 year and was never alone. She will be missed...
