His nickname from the lab was Raptor, but technically his "real" name is Subject 3001.

In April, it will have been four years, though his current version and backstory have really only been around a few months.

5. Was your fursona inspired by something?

It's mostly inspired by maned wolves and raptors, as well as a couple of features from other creatures I like [tiny gills on its neck from axolotls, snow leopard tail and thick fur]. I honestly can't tell you where the sabre teeth come from though x3 He's had those since his original version, which was some weird cat thing.

6. How much art do you have of your fursona?
A decent amount. Friends and I draw him a lot more often than Sira or Crosscut.

7. You made your fursona or you buy it?
Made it lol. Been through a thousand changes, but it is 100% mine.

8. Why do you consider your fursona special?
Well I mean... it's the easiest way to portray myself. Sira and Crosscut are different aspects of me, and represent parts of me, but Raptor is me. It's every part of me, the good and the bad, the pain and the pleasure. I'm a mixed-up, messed up little thing, and Subject 3001 is a chimeric, mixed up reject-- another thing we have in common. I've never really fit in with anyone but the odd and awesome friends that I'm lucky enough to find. Raptor doesn't really fit in with anyone but its friends [TRPC, Gavant/Wolfy, Gran, Ally, basically people who are my friends], but it [and I] are fiercely loyal and protective of them.

9. Does your fursona act too much as you or are they different from you?
It's basically the same as me attitude-wise. Just, unlike me, it doesn't trust as easily. I'm too trusting, so it's better than me in that regard.

10. What kind of hair your does your fursona have?
Poofy blue hair [though since I dye my hair red and purple it could also be drawn with those] that merges into the mane on its back. Swoopy lol.

Definitely rock/metal. Stuff by Five Finger Death Punch, some Shinedown and Sevendust, some Stone Sour, maybe some Patient Zero thrown in.

Well I mean, Raptor isn't exactly mentally stable, because I'm not, so...
Not sure though. I'm working on an 8tracks playlist for it, but that's not as centered on "insanity".
For now I'd say something like "A Rumor of Skin" by Stone Sour, or even "I'm Not Alright" by Shinedown.

Regarding creatures native to earth and widely known to the scientific community, Subject 3001's genetic makeup consists of the following:
Chrysocyon brachyurus ("maned wolf"), Panthera uncia / Uncia uncia (snow leopard), Pyroraptor Olympius, and Ambystoma mexicanum (axolotl)

These give it remarkable agility, resistance to cold, and tolerance of heat to a certain degree. Like many naturally occurring species, the length of its fur fluctuates depending on season, with its "winter" coat being noticeably thicker and rougher than its summer coat. It is also capable of regenerating damage much more rapidly than many other subjects (it is vastly inferior to the healing capabilities of Subject 294, however). Tests regarding the severing of limbs were not approved before the subject's escape, but wounds inflicted to the extremities and main body scarred over in a matter of hours. Life-threatening experiments were not conducted.

Its limbs are rather long in comparison to its body, like the maned wolves which make up the majority of its physical attributes. However, whereas wild maned wolves have very thin limbs, Subject 3001 possesses notably more muscle mass in its legs, possibly due to the inclusion of the snow leopard or Pyroraptor DNA.

3001 also possesses small gills, hidden under the thick fur of its neck. Sadly, development did not go as planned; Subject 3001 cannot survive underwater, though it can stay submerged for upwards of thirty (30) minutes.

With the exception of the remarkable sabre canines, all of Subject 3001's teeth appear to fall out and be replaced with newer, sharper teeth every few months, a process which takes two to three (3) weeks to complete. These teeth have serrated edges but closely resemble fossilized Dromaeosaur teeth.

Subject 3001's genetic sequence also includes at least two (2) samples taken from demonic entities, not counting the accidental Fehrr possession the subject underwent, which current studies do not indicate introduces a change to the host's DNA. Current hypotheses cite these strains as the origin of the "shattering" which parts 3001's skin and fur, as well as the bleeding present from those marks and its right eye. These are also thought to be the "true" origin of its healing abilities; no other addition to its genetic sequence can account for such rapid regeneration, or resistance to the loss of large quantities of blood, despite regeneration being a trait of axolotls. Nor can the terrestrial components account for the acidic properties of the blood, at a pH of 3.85.

These additions to its genetic structure also account for its heightened strength, speed, and ability to take damage. In carefully controlled "fights" with other subjects, it was capable of staying on its feet far longer than human subjects could, and even seemed to be enjoying the give and take of pain.

Anomalous anatomy:

Subject 3001 does not appear to have testicles, despite having genitalia closely resembling a penis of unknown, nonhuman origin. Possession of genitalia is itself considered anomalous; sexual genetic markers were supposedly completely eradicated from the samples used to create 3001.

While capable of arousal and what appears to be ejaculation, it is not directly fertile. In order to have biological children, outside forces would need to be at work (magic, science, or other intervention).

The "ejaculate" has a faint blue tint to it and exhibits the same bio-luminescent properties as 3001's genitalia, at least until it dries. Humanoid test subjects exposed to samples experienced no ill effects, except for one (1) reptilian male who reported a numb feeling in his fingers where he had contact with the fluid. Sensation faded after approximately fifteen (15) minutes. No other anomalous properties have been reported; however, testing was brought to an abrupt halt following 3001's successful escape from containment.
