Posted 4 years agoGonna try some femdom/malesub art
Posted 4 years agoFor a long time, I wasn't a big fan of femdom/malesub, mostly for reasons I don't want to discuss here. But, I've found myself getting turned on by some femdom/malesub bondage pics, so I've decided to try adding some F/m to my BDSM art repertoire. I'll be uploading a preview shortly, to give you an idea of what's coming.
EDIT: I realize the timing of this experiment was a little unfortunate; some readers might assume this was just an April Fools' Day prank. I can assure you it most certainly is not! I'm...not very good at pranks. It's just coincidental timing, honest!

Rules for Roleplay
Posted 5 years agoI've tried a few RPs now, so I'd like to take this moment to lay down some ground rules for what is and is NOT ok with me in RP, particularly in regards to RPs of a sexual nature:
OK:
Bondage
Erotic dancing (belly dancing, pole dancing, stripping, etc.)
Fondling/Groping
Coiling
Hypno
Tentacles
Soft vore
Vibrators
Whipping
Spanking
Sexual slavery
Vaginal sex
As far as soft vore goes, I have very specific rules:
The predator must be a snake or plant, and not humanoid
No drooling or stomache sounds
I prefer the predator coil and squeeze their prey before swallowing
And as mentioned below, I'm not a fan of snuff at all, so I'd rather the prey survive the ordeal, or at least leave their fate ambiguous.
There are a lot of vore scenarios that gross me out or disturb me. The only reason I have any interest in vore at all is for the bondage-related aspects like coiling, squeezing, and encasing (as seen when a snake swallows its prey whole and its body bulges).
In addition to consensual sex, I am also open to RPing rape, but please understand this does NOT mean I am okay with rape IRL. Sexual harassment, assault, or exploitation of any kind is NEVER okay IRL.
NOT OK:
Anal or oral sex (an RP I did a while back had anal in it, and while I did try to play along, I would appreciate if, going forward, we leave that out.)
Boobjobs or footjobs
Milking
Hard vore
Gore, snuff, abuse, any kind of serious harm
Feral/bestiality
Underage characters
Scat, urine, any kind of bodily substances like that
Diaper or baby fetishes
When writing from a first-person perspective, I only play dominant males; females and submissive males will be in third person.

Closing commissions; looking at other options.
Posted 6 years agoToday, while I was giving some advice to a fellow artist on deviantArt, I had an epiphany: I don't think I've enjoyed commission work as much as I thought I would. I don't think I'm the kind of artist who enjoys having to draw to someone else's specifications, even if the subject matter is something I normally enjoy. When output is demanded rather than simply appreciated, it sucks a lot of the joy out of it and turns art work into just work. And so I've come to the decision that, after I finish my current commission project for a generous and patient client, I'm closing the doors on my commission biz. I am no longer accepting new commissions.
For me, art is a means to relax when I'm off work, a way to express my own creative vision and ideas. I enjoy my art more when it isn't more work. I do want to make money off my art, but now I'm shifting my focus to creating what I want and selling it. On the horizon, I'm looking at merchandising my art; posters, t-shirts, mugs, etc. And of course I plan on starting my own company to manage my IPs.
In the meantime, I'm gonna start looking for jobs as a concept artist for animation and video games, where the whole point is to be creative and brainstorm designs based on a few key details. Yeah, I'll still be drawing for someone else, but I'll have more creative flexibility.
