I'm back! I had the WORSE time of my life! :'D
Posted 2 years agoI'm officially moved into my new home along with my family, and no longer staying at my older brother's place-Which, the entire experience was a FUCKING NIGHTMARE 8'>
Two months straight of sleeping on a trundle bed under the roof of my older brother-who not only had a terrible temper, but was Judgemental, Mean, and Bigoted in Every (and I mean EVERY) way possible! Nevermind the fact that it was like walking on eggshells constantly because we never knew what little thing would set him off! Even something as Nice and Helpful as doing some laundry! CAN YOU FUCKING IMAGINE!
And nevermind the fact that we had to wait two months for a background check on all of us for the house, my poor cat couldn't roam my brother's house freely because he has a dog, and of course I didn't have access to my computer ;;;;; There were more than a few points we almost gave up and moved back to California... but then finally...

Moving IRL - And I'm Out of Here
Posted 2 years agoPosting this today, since tomorrow I'm very likely not going to have a lot of time to talk to people, as tomorrow is the day we're heading out, and I'll have my PC and everything loaded up into the moving truck then. But yeah, giving a heads-up, tomorrow I will very likely not be online at all (Maybe a little bit on mobile?), and after I may only be online on Discord via mobile for some time after that (depending on wether or not I'll be able to setup my PC at my brother's place while we stay there temporarily). So if you need to hit me up about anything, today is probably the day to do so, otherwise you may have to wait a bit to hear from me. This is going to also be a whole new frontier for me in very many ways... I'm a bit nervous but also excited to start this new chapter and see where it takes me. And hopefully once I'm settled I'll be able to get back into the swing of things again too.

Where I've been and Where I'm Going
Posted 2 years agoNeedless to say, 2022 was unkind to me in a few respects. Not the least of which being I lost two close family members, my grandfather at the beginning in January and my aunt at the tail-end in November. The latter loss, while being the more Jarring, was also one that affected us the most in terms of our living situation too, as since the house was actually in my aunt's name, we are now in the process of selling it/packing/moving/etc.
While shocked at first, I'm actually glad we're moving in the end, I grew up in this house and I love it immensely, and it's been in my family for a very long time, but some of the drawbacks were, it was the defacto Meeting place for most big family events-and so it was a little oppressive/didn't exactly feel like 'Our' house most of the time. Plus the cost of living in California is INCREDIBLY high...
However, as expected, packing an ENTIRE life-time's worth of personal belongings is a bit daunting, and that mainly includes myself, my father, my younger brother, and my younger sister's things-though with my sister, she hasn't lived with us since last year, so we actually are mostly just having her try and take her stuff and store it somewhere else. There's also been the task of getting rid of furniture we don't have the room for/can't take, and so on, and also trying to get the house ready for viewings of potential buyers. Needless to say, it's taken up a lot of my time, and when I do have free time it's been mostly spent being uh, less than productive (*cough* video games *cough*) to relieve stress.
Now, as for where I'm going-? That's the OTHER part of this whole Thing that's turning out to be a bit of an Ordeal in itself-for one thing, my dad's decided we'll be moving to Arizona. Keep in mind, I've never lived anywhere but California my entire life (unless you count when I was a baby/VERY young child and lived in Germany VERY briefly and then Oklahoma when my brother was born). The thing is however, we don't have the money JUST yet to buy a place to live until AFTER we sell the house-but we can't LIVE in this house while it's being sold. So in probably the next month or so, we'll be taking what little we have that isn't going to storage, and living with my older half brother and his family. Who also live in Arizona.
So yeah that's basically been the BULK of what's been keeping me occupied/stressed/busy/etc. But that's life, it always knows how to send you curveballs...

Probs going to be opening commissions next year
Posted 7 years agoI had decided this year to take a break from commissions outside of the occasional YCH and whatnot, putting more focus on personal work and adoptable. However I think it's about time I open up to doing commissions again in the up-coming year, POSSIBLY also opening my Patreon, but with commissions people will have to keep in mind how Commissions will likely go:
- Prices are going to increase, some by a lot. I get burnt out a lot easier nowadays, and honestly feel my work is at a point where it's worth more of my effort. Some exceptions may be case by case though, such as with cheap YCH commissions or Simple artstyle commissions.
- Yes, the higher prices will also apply to Friends and Family, sorry :l
- Commissions may be slot-based, I don't want to become overwhelmed and feel guilty about not being able to fulfill a ton of orders only to take on more and add to that guilt.
- SFW commissions will take higher priority due to my still having an overwhelming lack of privacy, and NSFW may cost more because of this.
- I can and will exercise my right to refuse to do a commission if I'm not comfortable with it/the commissioner, or for any reason I do not have to disclose.
Idk that's the stuff that first comes to mind to help make commissions easier for me personally? Feel free to ask any questions.

More family updates... tragedy
Posted 8 years agoSo it’s finally occurred, that sometime last night, my grandmother’s passed on. A lot of people came to see her, before they came and took her away. Services I think will be this week.
I cried of course, a lot at first, but I knew this was coming soon anyways, and now I sort of have come to accept it… I mean, she’s no longer suffering… no longer having her mind eaten away to nothing by alzheimer’s, and tons of friends and family have been visiting her every day since she’s been bedridden…
We also still have each other, and we’re more than anything going to try and be there for my grandfather.
I cried of course, a lot at first, but I knew this was coming soon anyways, and now I sort of have come to accept it… I mean, she’s no longer suffering… no longer having her mind eaten away to nothing by alzheimer’s, and tons of friends and family have been visiting her every day since she’s been bedridden…

Posted 8 years agoA big family emergency came up last night/today, so I'm sort of processing/dealing with that. In short, it's regarding my grandmother who I've been helping take care of over the last few years, and to get to the point things aren't looking too good... She went to the hospital last night and her tests came back indicating possibly cancer, and showing her kidneys are failing...

Do you prefer adopts that come with little perks? Such as animations, icons, or even an extra art piece or two, even if it means the price being a little higher? Or do you prefer designs without any extra art at a lower price? Does it depend on the design or any other factors?
I mostly ask because I'm considering including these little animations or even a small illustration or two with some future adopts, and I want to feel out if the extra effort is worth it or not.

Posted 8 years agoThinking of making more loops besides the Boobie Bounce I've been offering lately, and I'm opening up to suggestions~! I do want to keep it to something simple though, for ease of completion as I pride myself on getting these titty YCHs out relatively quickly, but not so simple they're not worth the pricetags. I might also offer more elaborate loops for higher prices though, depending? What would YOU guys want to see in terms of these types of animation YCHs? What about interactive ones?

The state of my life right now
Posted 8 years agoI know I don’t really talk about my personal problems a whole lot, but I think I really need to put out there, because not even my closest friends are aware if the full extent of my situation. Currently I live at home with my dad, two siblings, both grandparents and one of my aunts, and for a good 3-4 years-maybe more now? We’ve all been dealing with my aging grandparents, mostly my grandmother but also to a lesser extent and my aunt. The short of it is, my grandmother has dementia and alzheimers, and it gets progressively more difficult with her every day. It takes sometimes maybe 2 or 3 of us to help her when she’s having difficulties, and there are times where she will forget what we just told her literally second by second or has tantrums. She fixates on habits and will do them for hours and hours, sometimes with us having to intervene because there have been days where she didn’t even eat dinner, or where she’s been sitting for so long (recently) her legs go numb and she can’t walk and we’ll have to carry her. The other day my sister tried to intervene with her rituals because she had JUST finished them half an hour before and she was doing them again, and my grandmother was upset and threatened to call the police on her.
Besides this, I’m also the person for the longest time responsible for feeding her, and often my grandfather and aunt. My aunt is also bedridden and has been for a few months after a fall, and between all that? I can’t drive. Most everyone besides my aunt and grandparents can get up and go, and are usually gone during the day, so unlike them I get very little to no relief with the constant atmosphere of stress here beyond sleep. Even all-nighters aren’t a respite anymore because my grandmother will often wake up in the middle of the night and we’ll have to tend to her and make sure she gets back in bed and so she doesn’t fall.
On top of this I’ve also become incredibly isolated, I don’t really have any real life friends, it’s been depressing and lonely too without a reason to go out or even any income (I have money on my Paypal but I don’t have a bank account right now, due to some issues with renewing my ID that all started with me having to re-apply for a copy for my birth certificate. It was fucking near-impossible because I was born on US Soil. In Germany).
So yeah this is just. My life right now? I might’ve left out some details, I’m still sort of just venting and putting down what’s mostly been going on because I've resolved to be more open and honest about it. My anxiety’s been really bad too, and I feel the stress also taking its toll on my health and sleep schedule, I especially have mild heartburn pretty much every day now... Just. Yeah.
