Now, I know that a bunch of self righteous pricks are going to crawl out of the woodwork saying I'm money hungry and greedy and this was stupid and I deserve to be broke.
Well, fuck them, what games have they put out lately!?
My critics are just that...critics. useless windbags that have no real talent so they shit on me and my practices.
As i said i am tired and mad. I need to get my head out of the dark but it is hard when I feel like i am doing this alone (with Tyvara and Fossil but still, very much alone at times.)
I am going to close by saying that I have 1 week to get the money I need to stay afloat.
If you think I am bluffing or some other bullshit just wait one week until my site/game/page/webspace are GONE!

I may not be back for a long time because I will have to go on foot and track down entry level work at say McDonalds or Kinkos.
I can not stress this enough and I do not want to do this...but I may have no choice. I do not want to be out on the street in a month and I am so far running out of options.
Those are LITERALLY my last options.
Either way Good karma and kind word don't pay my bills. I don't want to seem like I am losing my patients or walking away but don't expect me to apologize if the site goes dark come Friday
...I have done my part.
I have been working on this project for close to 10 years and have literally MILLIONS of people who have seen this game. I know that our forums have gone into the four digits in under a month. If ALL of us can't scrape this together and get this back on track we all lose.
I don't want to sound arrogant but think long and hard as to who will pick up my torch should I have to leave. Can you think of one person who will do this 24/7 for you and ask for practically nothing but the means to keep working. I eat ramen noodles and work on top of a box.
IMHO I don't think you will see another project of HTH's quality, size or scope for the next ten years and I HIGHLY doubt it would be free.
Also, I am trying to prove a business model.

If this fails then the business model may also be stalled and in my opinion that would be worse than the studio falling.
I am willing to take you guys with me on the journey of building new games designed just for the fur's out there. I love this fandom but if I am unable to keep the lights on that that doesn't help me.

Select from 3 levels of weapons with 3 types of Advanced Water-blaster and go head to head against the girls of HTH STUDIOS in our water-blaster arena.
GOAL: You will be placed in the arena with 3-5 girls. Each girl will be in a different zone separated by a gate. You must pass through all of the gates to win.
DEV NOTES: HTH WATER BLAST ARENA! is built on the HTH2 Engine & augmented with PE6.
Pe6 was an earlier game engine I had developed but never completed with Pendragon Entertainment. This engine was also the prototype for the HTH2 and HTH2 (Ulysses Custom) Engines.
DOWNLOAD VERSION:

I'm sure you are aware HTH STUDIOS is coming close to running out of funds.
We have received some donations this june to help us offset studio costs,
however we are still at risk of having to shut down operations unless I can
pull in some cash.
To try and make ends meat I have decided to sell ad space in game.
Now, for all the fans out there worried I may make this like youtube or something,
with an ad before each cut scene or area...fear not.
I would never do that to you after all this time. You guys deserve better than some
annoying loop or a string of pop up ads.
I hate those things as much as the next guy.
However, It is my goal to try and develop a game that is both entertaining for you
and free but also a game I can use to help support my future endeavors
in the fandom. I hope you all understand I am not trying to fill the game up with
billboards and screens but I have received $550.00 this June and I need
to have $1500.00 before the end of the month. That $1500 covers everything from the
studios Electric, Rent and Water as well as the studios rent and equipment
costs associated with running an operation like this.
Most of All these ads will support my TIME. My time is what is most valuable for this project.
If I can make rent by developing this game that
is time I don't have to dedicate to working at Denny's or Taco Bell. In this economy
I don't have much faith in the fast food industry.
I feel my time is better spent on developing new furry .
I won't lie...the situation looks bleak and I am scared...but I think this will work.

I'm going to be as straight forward as I can. One of the greatest crimes we have ever committed as a society is limiting access to naturally occurring medications. However, We pump ourselves full of pharmaceutical poison without question and then wonder why we die from the side effects.
I have a rather cruel disorder. It's not life threatening by any means. Nor is it transmittable to any other person on the planet. I have Tourette syndrome. Not bad, not like some of the kids I went to school with, but just enough to make it impossible to function when it gets bad.
I will tell you that after 23 years of dealing with this beast I have found the GOLDEN CURE to my affliction.
The name of this cure is Cannabis. That's right WEED! Weed make my muscles in my eyes not role back in my skull, or chirp uncontrollably for hours on end. It KILLS this thing in me and keeps it at bay almost instantly. With just one puff I go from being completely unproductive to being a normal functioning member of society.
I swear by this and I am sure there are others who agree.
The point is that our WONDERFUL federal government has made this miracle illegal, and punishable to the same degree as heroin, or meth. Now it is my observation that meth is closer to a demon, than even a poison.
This is not fair. I smoke every day. Not a lot but enough to keep my vision and sanity. My hands also try to break themselves at times it seems. That as you can imagine makes drawing complicated. Animation...don't even get me started.
The reason I type this now is to demonstrate how misleading the media can be. Always making us out to be dumb stoners looking for a loophole. I will be posting a video to my blog tonight as my tics are getting worse by the minute and It is actually becoming difficult to this rant. The reason I post a video is to show what a difference there is between a medicated Crow and a non-medicated crow. I warn you it is a bit odd looking and maybe a bit disturbing. I will also post a link to a video tomorrow evening to show what a difference one dose makes.

I have not smoked in one week, and it finally shows. If for any other reason I post this for documentation on how this can effect someone with TS.
I won't lie. I am in a state of physical hell. I will show you this so you can see for yourself what is being kept from the population as a whole. I'm not saying it is a cure for all, but it sure as hell works for me.
There are drugs on the market that may help if you are lucky and in most cases VERY rich. I will tell you that in my own experience the drugs on the shelf are worse than the condition itself. They can cause many side effects some of which I still deal with today. In contrast the munchies are a small price to pay against the prospect of permanent liver damage, chronic depression and extreme weight gain.
On a related note, before some cocky dweeb gets this in, No, I do not use user donations to buy my meds. I use them to keep the studio running. To do otherwise would be disrespectful to those who do not share my praise and faith in this drug.
I will resume tomorrow with my work as my medication should be here by then.

I've been working my ass off on this since I was 17! I'm now 26!
I'm letting the fandom sit in at my desk and watch while I finish and work on these . I take your suggestions and I apply the ones that work...I am after all JUST ONE GUY!
I could easily have waited a few years to release HTH2 to a PRICED and a few more to release RLD for ...who knows.
If you don't like my stuff don't look. We have a bajillion other furs on FA. Find something you like!
Please keep in mind however I'm doing something a bit new. I don't see many other furs doing the Independent game dev thing on this scale. So if you come into my house and step on my tail...expect to have your face ripped off. Figure of speech...maybe.

In the wake of my announcement that I am working on a new game, called RED LIGHT DISTRICT, that will require an ALERT PAY ACCOUNT to access some features in game, some furs seem to be worried that I am going a bit $$$ Crazy and might start charging for other I have released(Classic or HTH2 for example).
Please be aware that I have NEVER and WILL NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER charge you to play anything in the HIGH TAIL HALL series. This began as a FREE game and it will remain as such. Even HTH:RLD will have plenty of free elements in game to play with.
To clear up any confusion here is my project list.
TITLES
HIGH TAIL HALL :NG EDITION & CLASSIC - 100% FREE GAME
HIGH TAIL HALL 2 - 100% FREE GAME
RED LIGHT DISTRICT - FREE PLAY & PAY-to-PLAY GAME

General | Posted 14 years agoAs some of you know my Mac blew up and fucking died on me a while back. I thought it had taken a bunch of Commissions with it but to my (and I'm sure all those listed) relief I have been able to recover them.
