Stickam experiment v.1.0

It's basicly a live video feed server that can allow multiple people to connect to one main camera source. So here's the deal. I am going to be occasionally popping onto this thing to try to do a sketch or two during the week. Please note that there is no set schedule for this and I don't even know if its going to work well.

So here is a quick update. HTH Studios is going to be
getting a bit more funding behind it. I have managed
to several new graphics jobs as an independent
designer/pressman. This is good news as I have been
trying to get some new hardware to help speed up
production on the DVD and HTH2.
Print News
I am working on a new print project.
HTH Studios artbook 2007 is now in development
and will feature high res versions of all my artwork
from HTH Studios in 2007 as well as unreleased
designs, sketches, and artwork from High Tail Hall 2
and classic. No info on price yet. The good news is
that this one is going to be done VERY soon (3-4 weeks)
so keep your ears and eyes open
...just in time for the holidays *winks*
DVD News
Shot list is getting thinner. Animation for scene 1
is complete. Editing scene 1 and 3 is already
underway I also have started working on detail
and voice over animation for scene 5.
The DVD box is also being redesigned.

Ok, this really hurts: DVD Delays
General | Posted 18 years ago Ok, this is going to suck but I have no choice at this point. I am going to have to push back the release date once again. I know this is the second time and I know that this is cutting it pretty close but sadly it has to happen. Allow me to explain.
I know I have said it before but this DVD is going to hit the one hour mark when it is completed. Due to the complexity of certain scenes and several real life issues I have not had nearly enough time to work on this project as my original release schedule was planned. That, and lets be honest I suck and calculation timing and deadlines.
So, what exactly is done. Well, lets see:
Scene 1 animation is 95% complete
Scene 2 animation is 95% complete
Scene 3 animation is 75% complete
Scene 4 animation is 65% complete
Scene 5 animation is only @ 50% due to several design flaws
Total animation: Apprx 74%
I'm not going to go over the entire shot list here but I will say that a MASSIVE amount of progress has been made since my last news update on the subject. Several design updates where made. The project is looking top notch but this has lead to a rather large delay in production time.
So, I guess now Is when I am supposed to say the new release date. Well, as to avoid this sort of thing happening again I am going to say that I am aiming for December or January.
I know this is going to probably piss a lot of people off and I really can't blame them. However I made a promise that this this was going to be released and I stand behind that. Still taking commissions + Rose Print Updates

I know I've spammed the crap out of this enough, but I am taking commissions and animated commissions. This is pretty important because I am coming up short on funds to complete the DVD on schedule. Shipping, Handling, Packaging, ect. ect is taken care of however I am still needeing to pull together emergency funding for the actual production of the discs. Once that is done I can have the DVD ready on time...If not. Unfortunatly that could mean as much as a months delay, or not paying rent/bills.
I'll admit this does feel really cheap of me doing this but I am really trying to pull this together and have it done right. (also I got killed at Fur Fright)
I am also throwing around the Idea of taking (only several) paid character insertions for High Tail Hall 2.

Things go smoothly. I am well over the halfway point for the DVD and nearing completion on all speech animations as well as a great deal of the new "fun bits".
Soundtrack is about 5 days away from going live through Cafe press and the new HTH website is going up shortly as well.
There is a slight chance that there may be a second delay. This depends on the speed of animation production (I am slightly behind schedule) and also the final details of actually authoring the DVD itself. If this does come to pass I will post any updates here.

Aside from a few minor set backs the DVD is going amazingly well. The soundtrack is now complete and the project itself is still running smooth. I apologize for the slight delay. The workload is quite a bit for a one man crew but things move ahead.

DVD on track! Looking great...possible delay
General | Posted 18 years agoJust a quick update. The DVD is coming along very smoothly. Many shots have been finished and rendered but many still remain.
I AM AIMING FOR THE SEPT. 21st RELEASE!
However there is a chance that It may get a bit bumpy in either post or rendering. Therefore I am issueing a notice saying that the fallback release is
November 9th
...or earlier. This is just to give a total amount of time needed to FINISH the DVD. So many times people have put stuff out, released it...but its not quite done and it shows. I'm not doing that.
I hope it doesnt come to that but I need to cover my own ass.
