Disconcerting
Posted 16 years agoI'm having difficulty finding creative professionals that are available. There appears to be too many full queues and..well, artists missing in action or simply unwilling to work. I have one artist currently contracted for work, but not much luck elsewhere. I'm thinking I may have to resort to local artists here in my hometown that would be willing to complete some projects. There is another issue as well. I don't have paypal, and quite frankly, I don't trust it. I've had issues with it in the past and I prefer money orders. Even cash.
I'm also considering branching out to other sites. I may need to go beyond the anthropomorphic community. We crows fly a lot, so that shouldn't be a problem. :)

I've bought some strangely arousing cologne today. I think I shall wear it when I visit a couple friends out of town tomorrow. Oh....and I must wear my new penny loafers. They are shiny.
Note: remember to bring whiskey flask.

Professional Artists and Shrimp Pasta
Posted 16 years agoToday, I made shrimp pasta. It was amazing. That I can assure you. I love to cook.
I also was suprised at how much the cost of food has been increasing. It almost costs as much to buy stuff at the market to cook yourself as going to the drive through at Taco Bell. Isn't it supposed to be cheaper to cook at home than eat out? I guess not...which is good news for the restaurant industry, anyway. I mean, we crows enjoy our fine dining. And we're always looking for an excuse to dress fancy.

Currently I have been forging relationships with professional artists through Fur Affinity. It must be a very busy month for creative professionals because almost ALL of them are backed up with work they still have to finish. In a way, I'm happy as this means the artists are staying busy and employed. I can remember not even a year back when the lamenting of broke artists flooded the gallery journals on DA. Thanks to
The_Fab_Furry I have procured a list of artists that may be willing to be hired. I should probably slog through that list and see who is looking for work.

I did not run today, I had too many errands and not enough caffeine. I'm also still sore from my long run two days ago. I also think the black dye is fading in my hair. Or maybe it's just the sun. Basically I just spent the day paying bills, getting groceries and....oh...getting some whiskey. It's very important, you know. I like to relax. I forgot taco seasoning. Why do I always forget the seasonings???
The enter key on my macbook is sticking. Of all the keys, WHY the enter key??

It's Raining
Posted 16 years agoIt's raining this evening. I absolutely love it. I can't wait for more of it, actually. I'm pretty happy when it rains. Not to sound overly emo or anything...
My employment situation is still in the gutter. I've submitted several job applications but have yet to receive any call backs. Very disconcerting. It's just enough for me to get by...and to spend some time to sit down and figure out what exactly it is I want to go from here in my life.
I've decided to spend this unexpected free time to focus on my body. I need my 6 pack back...I'm not fat or anything...I'm just....in need of some serious toning. Now that the weather is nicer, I'm going to start running more. Even better if it rains. I love the rain. :P
I'm actually not that excited about pulling the air conditioner out of the shed and getting it installed in my window again, so I'll take this rainy weather instead!
I made lasagna today......and bought cheap whiskey. And that's about it, folks.

First things first...I need to start hiring artists to give me form. I have a few ideas on who I want.....oh yes....many ideas I do have.....
I must say...these blank input boxes are so scary....*shutters feathers*
So yes....I am NOT a very good visual artist...and thus, I aim to have talented artists here draw me in their own style.....for payment, of course. How dare you think I'd not pay for quality services! I'm most appalled...
