so heres my story about an issue that has been going on for several years. Now, i am a patient person, but when my friend ("Titan Wolf") commissioned a certain "husky" in 2008/09, my patience would be put to the test. We paid her over $1000 for 2 half suits, and were promised completion within 3 months. 3 months went by...no suits. asked again, got a bull shit excuse. in fact over the next few years we would receive a bunch of bullshit excuses like "My dog ate the head, need to refoam" "got bit by a rattle snake, in the hospital, almost died" "sent them but i think they were lost in the mail" Shortly after we paid, all of a sudden shes bragging about her new pure bred husky puppy, and new shiny car. kind of fishy right? we tried to be understanding. she has kids, they take up time, i get that. But this situation is ridiculous.
and still continues to this day, with more excuses, its almost pathological. She had she she had no time to spare but keeps taking on new projects. and now usually ignores my messages.
so. thoughts. advice? thanks for the vent.

~edit~ sent her a note, its been opened but no reply. Will be offering a reasonable and forgiving ultimatum tomorrow if i don't hear back by tonight, of either 70% refund, completion within 3 months, or she'll hear it from a judge (as i understand it, refunds rewarded by court can be more than 100% of the original sum...at least thats the case with multiple types of security deposits)

I find it hard to keep track of all the free art i owe, too much time in the real shitty world trying to make a living, i often forget due to stress.
not having a steady source of interwebs hinders me slightly too.

Stage 1 of my dating approach; about a year and a half ago, I was waaayyyy too drunk off of Kraken one night, hanging out with the guys, and ended up puking peanut skins (yeah...i know, why just the skins?) for a good 2 hours. My now current partner, took post outside of the bathroom door...reading a book, making sure i was okay. i came out about a century later, swearing i'd never eat peanuts again. he put me into his friends bed, stayed with me until i fell asleep. I woke up in bed with two other friends at 5am, with a "WTF mate?" i shuffled into the living room, and crawled into sofa with my night in shining Armour. startled the hell out of him....took my pants off, and at the moment, when he wrapped his arms around me i thought everything could be okay now. not just because i was done being white girl wasted, or already feeling the hangover. it was more of a mutual, silent agreement to building something together. he got morning wood the next day. and i never let him live it down.
stage 2 is long and you don't care about that.
stage 3 ....took my clothes off.
and hes been the linchpin of my sanity ever since.

Hey there watchers,
i know ive been MIA for quite some time...more than some time. But, after i had moved back to VA i had lost internet access. so no internet, ergo no FA.
Im currently working on getting on my feet (and as a result, regular internet access)
and to add insult to injury, my tablet had broke, so it it is with a lot of guilt and regret that i admit i cannot complete commissions or trades (which lucky for you are pay upon completion; i like to do this in fairness to my commissioners) until i can gather funds for a new one, it'll be tough but it'll get done eventually. I do not feel comfortable asking for donations, but if you're crazy kind enough, or just crazy enough, to help fund, i would gladly exchange art.
