hey, it's been a little slow going; some stuff has been going on irl and i've also been kind of.. depressed?
so i've been sleeping a lot and sluggish ;w;;;;

im going to try and get work done asap!!! sorry for the wait

so, today, i was able to take lucy to the vet to get her looked at.

the spots on her neck were indeed ABSCESSES (she had 2 of them,) both popped and drained by yours truly.
the vet said they look like they're well on their way to healing already, so i just need to keep an eye on her.

she also, this is something i didnt mention much, has been losing hair on her butt via chewing that i thought
was attributable to a flea infestation. but, there were never any fleas on her (save, like, one?)

BUT, turns out, it was because of fleas. lucy lou, my precious girl, is ALLERGIC to fleas and she got bit there once or twice
and has been itching ceaselessly... he gave her an injection to stop the itching so she can recover

AND!!! what was going to cost me a lot of money ended up only costing me $45-- the base doctor's visit fee.
the doctor didn't charge me for the injection, or for the box of flea medicine he gave me, which i'm so so thankful for.
the office i went to has been known to try and milk people for their love of their pets, so i was apprehensive about going
but it was the closest place, the most accessible

this has really made me feel better about going there in the future, perhaps getting the same doctor knowing he's not out to get my money from me, but actually looking out for my dog's health

i was getting a close look at it, and i gave it a little squeeze to get a feel for it
and it suddenly bust open! it was like.. really watery blood?

i freaked out but decided it might be best to clean it up, and maybe get all the stuff out of it?
so i squeezed it gently for a while and wiped the blood away with an alcohol pad
it's empty now, just letting out a little bit of blood, and its like.. a little crater?

i covered it in gauze and wrapped it up for now ;;
i reallycant afford to go to the vet right now ugh

so, something's been going on with my dog lately!
BEFORE ANYONE SAYS ANYTHING: im planning on taking her to vet as soon as i am monetarily able

so, a few weeks ago, i noticed she had a bald spot, and it looked like this

at first, i had thought it was ringworm, it looked a lot like it! but then, the very next day, after i put a little lamisil on it, it looked like this

and then progressively got better until it was just nice, pink, smooth and unblemished skin. i figured okay, we're good! it was like, a hot spot, i guess
so she had a funny bald spot on her neck, that's okay, the fur will grow back in time she's ok

and then over time i noticed it was turning.. darker in color? i mean, at first i didnt think much of it, because her skin is splotchy colors on her tummy anyway BUT
i looked at it last night and it now looks like this

it should be noted she has a small flea problem that i'm working on currently, and her personality/behavior has not changed at all

what do you guys think?
also, could anyone maybe spare some cash to help me afford the vet bill? i know rent is coming up for lots of people, it is for me too and thats why im asking ;;
i can do sketches or chibis or myo slots in exchange!!!

so! tomorrow, my boyfriend and i's cat goes in for surgery to remove an ever-growing cyst on her side.
it's going to cost me about $100, give or take. i have the money to cover for it, but it's going to put a big dent in my finances.

to top it off, my dog lucy AND the cat both have fleas (though the cat has been treated,) and it's costing a pretty penny to get lucy her meds, and to get something to treat the carpets with. so, i'm putting out another reminder that commissions are, yes, open, and i really need the cash to cover these pet expenses ;;

AND i might need to take lucy to the vet for another reason, but that's neither here nor there, since i'm not entirely sure yet. so that's a thing.

i've been... rly out of sorts again lately! full of fear, anxiety. getting more headaches and feeling bad again.
but it's, in part, because i havent been taking my pills... im bad about that...

i really don't like that art has to be my source of income. it's always either doing good or going slow, and its hard. but i dont think
