So. I got autobilled for something I completely forgot was due. No email letting me know it was coming up, nothing. And it was expensive. Something I was considering canceling or suspending because as nice as it is, it's very expensive and I have been struggling too much to set funds aside for it. It completely blindsided me and I want to lay down and give up.

And now my ENTIRE food budget AND cushion are gone and I have another payment coming up in 2 days that will sap the rest.

I am still really sick. Covid is KICKING MY ASS. I will stream if I have to but I need rest. I am exhausted and sore and losing hope so fast.

So to explain, I have two payments left on my Sunbit. Then the needed dental work I got done a bit over a year ago will be paid off in full. One less monthly payment.

I got approved for a good line of credit, like, enough that I can utilize it for emergencies.

Here is my question to my commissioners.

Should I use it to hand out refunds so I can take a real break and start fresh? I know several of you have been waiting for a long while... My burnout has not fully gone away, and I am considering moving on to only stream commissions from now moving forward with more stream days during the week in addition to the weekend.

I do feel like I am close to breaking through... But the backlog is a major point of stress.

I can also offer to let you choose characters from my sales of equal value (I have a few high value ones) to help ease the burden of any refunds if I go that route.

What do you all think? Do you think that's a good use of the resource? I would owe money to the credit card company, but I would also not have a backlog stressing me out so much my creativity shrivels up and dies.

I am gonna make a set of cosmic dragon mystery adopts. Probably start with 5, maybe 10 depending on how well my creative juices flow.

They will likely be around $50 apiece, done in my new Speedpaint style.

I will be basing them on various cosmic anomalies (Black holes, nebulas, different types of stars, stuff like that)

They will not have extra options like the Starbeast adopts, however, because I do not want to put more on my plate for when I get to working on my queue.

If I can make a set and sell enough to build up enough money to take care of my big bills coming up (Internet is $135, I have the last payments for my computer parts when my computer damn near kicked the bucket coming up beginning of the month, and need to cover $150 of the power bill as well as eat and cover household necessities), I should be able to take a real, proper break and reset myself.

That's what I need. I am coming to the end of this burnout, but I need at least a week, preferably two, where I don't have to stress until I am a sick, exhausted mess.

Sorry for all the delays for my commissions of late. I've been sick as hell from the constant stress on top of being burnt out.

I am starting to come out of it, I think, slowly. I am still having trouble getting my motivation up, but I should be able to start working soon. And I feel AWFUL for how much of a wait this is for some of you.

One of the stress-induced sicknesses I am dealing with is constant exhaustion. I am so tired... no matter what. Exhausted at all times. Despite caffeine and sleeping. And then I have insomnia, where I have trouble falling asleep.

If I can sell enough characters to get a few hundred built up... I can take a week or two off from streaming. I REALLY. REALLY REALLY need a break but I haven't gotten one. Somebody decided to commission me in my stream. I had one in line ahead of theirs, and I hadn't gotten to theirs yet, told them I'd have them pay once I started. Finished the one before theirs, had a wrist stretch break, went to let them know, only to find they'd blocked me and deleted all their messages.

Like. What the fuck, man. If you didn't wanna commission me, you really don't HAVE to but don't like... say you're gonna get a piece, discuss what piece you want, then fucking block me. Sheesh.

A little more juicy tea - They have tried to add me as a friend on Discord several times since this. I have been ignoring it because even if they apologize, I am not taking a commission from them because they seem like the sort who would get the art them chargeback... I don't trust them. But like. WHY.

I need about $300 before the 1st of next month, though around $130 would take care of the biggest of the bills. Any extra goes towards all the bills that like to hit RIGHT at the beginning of the month. If I can get $500, that'd be even better because I won't have to scramble at the last minute to get the internet bill paid, too.

I barely managed to cover the big bills that come at the beginning of the month this month, and this month is already almost over, so any extra will VASTLY help!

I'll be streaming too, because I can't afford to take another week off unless a miracle happens.

I have $985 towards my power bill, which is around $1100... that is the bare minimum I need to pay right now. I am only covering my own needs for food atm, as well as household supplies and staples, and Jori has a full time job now and can pay more of the power bill, but this is hanging over from a month that was extremely rough on all of us, made worse by me crashing and burning hard.

I will also take one full illustration slot for $300, up to two characters, NSFW or SFW, Fully rendered/painted with a full background. I will warn you that turnaround time has been a bit slow lately because I've been SO burnt out, but I do always get things done even if it takes a while and I have to regather my strength before I start.

Failed stream after failed stream his hit me in the mental health so hard that the thought of streaming makes me depressed, which sucks because I need money to live and streams are my only income outside of character sales and regular commissions.

I am heavily considering taking this weekend off if I can.

I am still a little under the weather, but I am on the mend. I am still tired and my mental state has been a little fragile, but I do think I am starting to get past this latest burnout.

To try to explain what's been going on with me...

In short... I have an auto immune disorder, I think anyway. My immune system attacks my skin, joints, stomach lining, and gut. And maybe my thyroid too because those issues get way worse when I am flaring up. Everything slows down and I become fatigued, sluggish, and severely brain fogged.

The treatment for the auto-immune bullshit is, surprisingly..... Worms.

Lab grown porcine whipworms, to be exact. Trichurus Suis. They are HIGHLY effective and help way more than I ever thought they would. They allowed me to function and feel normal.

But they are expensive and I couldn't afford them so when my last dose died out and they weren't there to modulate my immune system, everything started coming back and getting steadily worse over the months until it got so bad that I was constantly dehydrated, barely eating, and could do nothing but sleep. With the physical decline came mental decline. My health tanked, hard. I was sore, miserable, and losing hope due to the constant suffering.

I was able to finally order a dose of the worms due to some of my characters selling, and I am already noticing an improvement. More energy, less itchy, less ache in my joints, and I can actually eat food and retain fluids now.

Basically, the logic behind purchasing the worm eggs is based on a scientific theory known as the Hygiene Theory. Humans evolved side by side with numerous intestinal parasites for millions of years. Our immune systems adapted to them, and ended up needing them to help keep it from becoming overactive. But people aren't exposed to helminths anymore in first world countries and we don't have those organisms within moderating our immune system. With nothing else to attack, it turns against our own body, which causes first world people to be far more likely to develop auto-immune disorders and allergies.

This is where helminths, mostly harmless intestinal parasites, come in. They can produce numerous different chemicals naturally that help suppress and calm the immune system without depressing it so much that it ceases to function. In short, you can still fight off sickness just fine, but the worms stop it from attacking itself. These chemicals change in real time as the immune system adapts to them, basically keeping everything steady and calm.

Trichurus Suis, the species I use, is not able to reproduce in the human gut and has minimal side effects. I get a little gassy for a week, but don't notice anything else other than maybe a couple days of mild cramping. Which is honestly far less painful than the constant bloating cramps I got 24\7 with my condition. It's an incredibly easy to control population of tiny worms living inside my digestive tract, that will never grow out of control because they simply are unable to. They are not at all infectious in humans, and are perfectly safe because they are lab grown in controlled sanitary conditions. Consequently, this makes them a bit expensive because of everything that goes into insuring they are viable, clean, controlled, and not contaminated by anything else.

It's gonna take a while for them to fully take effect, but I am feeling a lot better than I was before.

I am still too burnt out to trust myself to produce satisfactory quality artwork, so I am going to take a little more downtime to finish recovering.

I should be back in action soon! Anyway, that's it for the moment. I am so sorry for the delays! But I am finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I am struggling hard with hundreds of dollars of expenses hanging over my head... And the more characters I have available, the more likely folks are to find something they like. There's bugs and moths, Hollow Knight characters, lots of fun anthros and monsters and some of my favorites ended up put in the tentative folder. Those ones likely won't stay. Once I am in less dire straits, many of those will likely end up kept.

Weekend after weekend after weekend of streams failing. Barely scraping by. Always struggling to pay bills and keep up with expenses and costs. Every week a struggle just to make it to the next week.... for an entire fucking year.

Life is hell. And I am so burned out I just want to lay down, go to sleep, and never wake up. I just want this shit to be over. I don't want to struggle and stress out constantly anymore.

My health is plummeting, both mental and physical. I am exhausted, existentially exhausted.

What am I doing wrong? Why does nobody care about my streams anymore? Is my art getting worse? I'm losing more confidence by the week, and its making it SO much harder to get any artwork done. I've been trying to start on my queue for two weeks, but every art piece I do I hate. I start, look at it, realize that no artist in their right mind would hand over something so gross, and can't continue.

Even simple things are too much for me.

I'm so damn tired.

I am still kinda struggling with burnout a bit... still recovering my strength after health problems.

I am having a really bad IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) flareup, and I need to somehow get ahold of a vial of TSO. It's basically lab-grown porcine whipworm eggs, and they are extremely effective in taming my IBD. It's been getting worse and worse over the past couple weeks. I took the last dose of TSO I had almost 6 months ago (Beginning of the year), and my body is going back to the constant suffering I had before I started taking the worms.

A single vial with 500 ova (That's all I need in a dose, I haven't needed more) is $150 for the vial + shipping together... but if I can manage to get around $1200 outside of my usual food and bills, I can get the bulk package of 10 vials. I will probably try to get the one vial, then have a couple months to save up for the bulk order.

The helminths have kept me from suffering 24/7 for almost 2 years, and I am REALLY feeling the effect of being out of them. I have my thyroid medicine... if I can get my gut buddies, I'll be feeling a hundred times better!

So as many of you know, I have been struggling with health issues. During the time that I was off my thyroid medicine, I was stricken by severe brain fog and my memory loss got a hundred times worse.

I wanna get caught up on my queue again since my health is starting to improve.

With this weekend stream failing miserably, I may be forced to stream during the week just to not starve and get bills paid, or make some more adopts and hope they sell.

I do have a set of Black Hole Starbeasts in progress, as well as MAYBE a set of an OLD species I created, Gem Dragons. I never shared them, the only art of one was a sapphire dragon OC I had in high school and it's on an OLD deviantshart account that is *FULL* of cringe. xD

Trying the Thursday streams has failed every single time... nobody is interested, I just sit there without any artwork to do, feeling discouraged and tired and end up stopping early, which contributes to me feeling burnt out and mentally tired.

I may give up on Thursday streams. Or, if anything, do streams from Tuesday all the way through Friday depending when I have an empty queue... just to keep money flowing so food and bills are always paid and stress is reduced.

Or try to find other ways to bring in money because failed stream after failed stream is so discouraging, and there's SO many times I'm afraid I won't be able to eat.

I did manage to sell the Wacom Cintiq 22 I had sitting unsold for a while, but the money from THAT went to power bill, computer parts, and computer repair, some groceries and a couple things for the household.

Thanks to my deep freeze I won't be starving, but the biggest bills hit right around the beginning of the month so... like usual... I am stressed tf out xD

Brynn took it and opened it up and found some loose connections, redid the soldering. She built my old computer, and that beast was chugging along for 5 years before it finally went down.

So far the computer seems to be running better, but we'll see if it keeps running, or if it decides to keep throwing issues.

Nevermind, still BSODing. But I think it's the HDD. I'm replacing it and seeing if that fixes the fucking issue lol.

My computer has randomly started bluescreening constantly. I couldn't even do a restore without bluescreen after bluescreen after bluescreen.

I backed everything up and Brynn is looking at it to see what happened but..... I don't have high hopes. I know how my luck goes. I know how much the universe hates me.

Without a computer, I can't do any art. Art is how I make the money I need to pay bills and for Brynn and I to eat. Without a computer, I won't be able to pay bills, buy food, or get necessities for her OR for me. Not to mention cat food, cat litter.

So yeah. I am probably completely fucked. Which is fun.
