Health Update
Posted 3 months agoI have my thyroid medicine now, and have been taking it for a few days. I am not 100% yet, but doing much, much better. I am taking another week off from my queue, but will resume streaming as normal on Thursday and plan to start cracking on the queue on the Monday after that. Starting with simpler stuff to get warmed up, then completing the more complex stuff.
I am so sorry commissions are taking longer than expected to be completed. This chronic fatigue that was being caused by my thyroid issues was knocking me for a loop. It got so bad that I basically spent an entire week asleep aside from a few hours awake here and there and I wasn't even alert during those few hours awake. I constantly felt like I hadn't slept in weeks. I was so out of it, I could hardly hold a thought or string together words to speak. Dark bags under my eyes... I looked dead on my feet and felt exactly like I looked. It was awful.
Those of you who have bought characters I have up for sale or adopts have helped me a ton. Honestly, they allowed me to take the weekend off of streaming and have to moment to breathe before getting back to the grindstone. So hopefully that will help me get back to art with more energy and I can stop hating everything I draw before it's even done xD

Commission Turnaround Time Update
Posted 4 months agoSo I have thyroid medicine on the way. This cognitive decline, chronic fatigue, and constant brain fog I've been feeling has gotten steadily worse since I ran out and couldn't refill my script. But I found a way to renew my prescription and have it sent to my doorstep. It should be here early next week, and once I start taking my medicine I should start feeling significantly better.
I am going to hold off on my commission queue until I am feeling less brain fogged and exhausted because I want to give the best quality work I can. And with how out of it I have been, I don't feel like I can provide quality work.
Sorry for the wait, guys... My health has just taken a huge turn for the worst and I am trying to manage my chronic conditions with absolutely NO money for insurance or medical costs. It's hard.
I'll let you know once I am feeling better. It should be fairly quick after I start taking my synthroid again. That should knock out the chronic fatigue and severe brain fog.
Once I come out of this severe cognitive decline, I should be able to get back to work without feeling like a ran a marathon while taking five final exams at once just because I picked up my tablet pen.
I am going to hold off on my commission queue until I am feeling less brain fogged and exhausted because I want to give the best quality work I can. And with how out of it I have been, I don't feel like I can provide quality work.

Posted 4 months agoHaving a REALLY bad GERD and IBD flareup... kept waking up choking on acid and every bite I ate resulted in a relentless tide of burning diarrhea, bloating, nausea and pain. I recovering, but I am still tired and worn out from weeks of a horrible flareup.

Posted 4 months agoI am gonna start streaming Thursday and Friday, and working on other stuff Monday through Wednesday instead. Saturdays have consistently been slow.
I know I've been slow on my queue.... I'm facing burnout again. I never really fully came out of my last major burnout, and I've been struggling to survive which is not helping in the least. I WILL push past it. I will get it done. I will keep working, keep doing commissions and keep streaming on a weekly basis.
Just bear with me while I struggle through this. I just have to force myself through another burnout. I know that makes it worse, but I haven't got a choice. SO wish me luck lol.

Taking the day off from Streaming

Sasha is officially in the clear!
Posted 5 months agoVet confirmed! She passed the blockage on her own! It was a fuckin' hairball that blocked her up for a while before she passed it.
The donations I got for the surgery she ended up not needing went into paying my CareCredit card off from when she had the obstruction surgery last year, so now I have about $120 a month less I have to pay AND a paid off medical credit card for any future emergencies involving her or Cleo. I am also getting her more hairball remedy and she's getting lots of hairball treats to prevent this from happening again.
She scared the fuck out of me, but she's in the clear! She's OK, and I am too relieved for words. XD
