I'm going to open these and see how things go. Basically, I can't draw for shit, but I can colour, and in fact I really enjoy working on colours! I colour all my stuff traditionally, using Prismacolor and Sharpie markers. Here's some examples of my colours:

I'm not really sure how to price these, so if you want one, note me with your lines and colour refs (or a good description of the desired colours) and I'll price based on complexity, and we can work it out. I will print your lines, colour them (flat colours only at this stage as I do not have a blending marker at the minute) and send you a scan of the colours. If you want the physical copy that can be arranged too, I'll obviously charge for shipping in that case though.

For those of you know don’t know, I had to move out of my parents’ house as my mother and I both have MH problems and she doesn’t cope with hers at all, resulting in me getting a torrent of earache from her as every little thing that winds her up is my fault. Obviously this was a bad situation for me so I moved in with a friend.



The issue now is that several years on, my friend that I live with has graduated from “likes a drink” to “alcohol dependant”. He drinks, all day every day. The house is a bombsite. I asked if he would look after the cats while I was on holiday, he said yes. I came back to overflowing litter pans and cat poop all over the kitchen. Dishwasher? Don’t be silly. And he certainly doesn’t get the vacuum out or mop the floor. I’m trying to work full time AND living in a pigsty as I simply CAN’T keep up with cleaning HIS mess as well as mine after a full day at work.



This is bad enough, but things have now reached a crisis point. He doesn’t do anything to maintain the house, and it’s now showing damage and damaging the neighbours’ property. The neighbours have asked nicely several times and have finally snapped and informed us that they will be seeking legal advice with regards to the damage his failure to maintain his property has caused to theirs.



I could get a house share or lodge, but it would have to be with complete strangers and I don’t think that would be wise. What I’m trying to do instead is to raise some money towards getting a property of my own. I’d been saving for a deposit for a while, I have a good chunk of what I need, but unfortunately not enough to get a foot on the ladder yet. With the threat of legal action looming, I’m having to kick things into high gear.

You know, it's sometimes awkward being an author.

It does seem that furaffinity is geared strictly towards artists, and they get the most exposure etc. Meanwhile writers are hidden away because our porn is in pretty words, not lines and colours.

Cynicism.

In any case, I will not give up writing. It's fun.

I haven't written for a while... Not had the inspiration.
