There was a massive storm yesterday. and a storm warning all weekend long so I've had to hold off on sending items and driving out in this weather. but I think the weekend storm problems might be over now. I'm trying to get back to getting packages mailed. please bare with me!
UPDATE 11/12/15
Got a ton of hinges made and glued to many blanks needing hinging, but our dremel went out on us today D: it happens sometimes just blargh! gonna buy a new one tomorrow
also got a handful of out of country packages sent and those tracking numbers were noted to their owners. and below there will be a strike through the orders of ones that have been shipped!
I intended on shipping more tomorrow but we might have a bit of a flood in the apartments tonight. crossing fingers not, but want to make sure things are ok. I also have a few more items to finish and pack up. I will strike out each order as they are finished! thanks all!
I realize there's a good list of you on the recent blank orders for foxes, hyenas etc. and many items to be mailed that ARE done and even in packages.
a couple things. we got the flu pretty hard recently and are finally coming down from it. and I have been working on the gryphon costume for a bit (and other commissions) so even though my assistant handles blanks. it's too much for my brain to juggle what he needs to do and what I need to do in that situation so I've just had him hold off until I can get back to it. but also in that span I've had to redo my canine teeth mold entirely. as I GOT casts but they were all flawed. mold too dry and ripping, and somehow for no reason there has been debris cast into all of them. resin dust. I don't even know how. but every time. So the jawsets have been a BIG holdup for many orders. but FINALLY I got some cast. and also had to play with my tooth color resin to get the right colors. it's all a process definitely.
I finally have enough cushion funds to get a lot of overseas packages sent. and just incase there's extra change that's not counted, added weight/ package size making the package a lot more expensive, hence the cushion funds. I just never trust that stuff. and I do not do it online (easier) which is what I do with all US packages, as I've tried the out of country mailing online and it went absolutely HORRIBLE. but it takes a good amount of paperwork. It's very tedious for me to get that all done. and go down with a bunch of packages and scare the usps ladies. lol. but I'm really trying to get those packages OUT FINALLY.
Anyways, please bare with me for a little longer. I'm trying to crack down and get a lot of blank items finished now.
I'm not looking for any suggestions whatsoever on any of these topics! I'm just letting all folks waiting on blanks know! let's see how much I can get out now.

Posted 10 years agoI though well heck. I was really depressed over cancelling patreon completely so I fount a middle ground. I can very well keep posting some wips here and there for patreons in exchange for just one single ONE dollar tier! Win win for everyone :) I found out how to delete all current patreons from my list so they were not charged for this last month! Feel so great about that. Posted 10 years agoHeya! all current patreons. I've decided it's best that I close down my patreon. it's given me a little more backlog than I had hoped it would when I started it. and I'm just not ready for that to continue with all of the work I've got already. Plus other perks just weren't working out with my schedule. Haven't managed to make much in the way of tutorials. or streams. and don't really feel comfortable or have the energy to do so with the work I'm doing. so alas! No more worry about patreon. I made a post ON the site but I'm a bit worried patreons may not have seen it or what happens with things when I revert back to a regular user.

I'm working on those blanks I posted up! I was on a roll on ALL of them when I found out my dremel diamond blade really is screwed up. It's been used a LOT LOT LOT so it's finally not cutting well anymore. most of the sandy parts of it are smoothed out. so I've ordered more. I may be able to make this work for now but it's frustrating. The whole dremel flex shaft is just screwed as well Xb so guess I'll be getting another one tomorrow. it's ok it's all lasted me through a lot of use. just UGHHHHH THOUGH

I feel like I just got home from a frustrating business trip where I didn't even make any money or do any work. just exhausting weather, frustrations and I had anxiety attacks galore throughout. which I'm buckling down and going back to the free clinic to get REALLY finally figured out. because this is getting crippling.
Again. I was hoping maybe this trip was going to give me some time to really relax after working nonstop for a while but I just almost feel more tired. so WEH!!! >:C
anyhow. got a lot to work on. a loooot. so bear with me!

Posted 10 years agoFinally had my first Anthrocon experience. and eh. I honestly wish I just spent that time getting more things on the go. didn't really come out of it very inspired which... I was of course expecting the opposite. oh well. it was too big and too much walking so I'm just exhausted. I'll just stick with Rainfurrest yep.

Posted 10 years agoHolllllllllllly CRUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. so I can't even remember how many packages of blanks I've sent out this past week. I know there were NINE international packages today and yesterday. and several in the US packages sent every day this past week. got a couple things to get parts for and sending those today! then I'm off to this family reunion. flight leaves tomorrow! but I'm STILL working now. aeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
GOOD NEWS. we figured things out with the roomate and we are able to stay here. so that was a whole thing of junk I really did not need to worry about while working on tons of things but I'm over it. just glad I have somewhere to stay and THAT ALSO MEANS I can start working on things AS SOON as I return! so here's a meme for ya!

Posted 10 years agoEDIT: We've figured out staying in this apartment for now. thank goodness. I don't have to put so much away. I'm almost done with a lot of things. and getting a lot of things mailed out.
First off I have been working my butt off the past month nonstop trying to finish up tons of things
and prep for the next order of business! Which is going to my boyfriend's family reunion that they very graciously offered to fly us out to. I've put off a few opportunities to visit them the past few years after we moved back to Washington and I wanted to make this happen. during that trip things worked out with a friend around that area to get a ride up to anthrocon then coming back in time to head back here. The whole trip will span from the 24th of this month to the 15th of July! Which is a very long time and I appologize for the inconveniences of things I can't get finished before that time.
I am close to finishing a few commissions and getting a lot of packages out yet not all and I'm so sorry about that!
Something however particularly important though. During the scuffle of working on tons of things opportunities for new housing were sprung. And regretfully some awkwardness with the current roommate on top of struggling with this tiny apartment space leading to us deciding it's best to move on to new better places. The plan was to get all of our things out just before we leave (after finishing several things first) and start moving in as soon as we return. Which this past week I have been gathering things to store alongside working on things.
HOWEVER. as of last night we got news that someone sniped the house from under us with full payment cash in hand. Seems to be how house rentals seem to go in this area. So we are trying again. But our current roommate has already planned for us to be going. And probably excited about my workshop clutter being gone. Anyways. I need to let everyone know I am not sure what might be happening. We are working hard looking for a place this moment. New roomies are also looking hard and we're trying as hard as we can to get this all sorted out. I am SO sorry for all of the inconveniences. I truly am. I am just Max worried right now. I already felt terrible for having to uphaul everything again. And now being unsure of where we're going to live next. I will update when things change of course. I can honestly say I do not feel like going and having fun right now for many reasons. Just hoping everything smooths out.

Posted 10 years agoSo despite thinking things were ok. we still had to leave. SO this past whole week has been spent moving things. BUT we were lucky enough to happen upon a situation in the same town with a friend during the rush to be out of our living space! Everything is now here and I'm trying to organize things into their places. need to get out and start working on stuff as soon as I get that room space set up which I'm doing right now. So that's what's been up with me right now!

and sorry I didn't update before the move! I was hoping it wouldn't take too long anyhow. and it didn't take tooooo long. been just rushing around the whole past week Xb
oh and now as of yesterday our car broke down again. So lucky we have an amazing furry mechanic friend who was there to help and is fixing my baby up yet again. the joys of having a car from 1990!

Posted 10 years agoSo we had a talk with the head of house. and talked through misunderstandings. I guess her family had 3 days notice to get out of their place, hence moving them in immediately. We're all on good terms now and they're not even that interested in taking our room at all. so I'm opting to stay here for now and focus on getting work done. so much better than rushing everything out. Especially now knowing what that feels like. no way. I'll deal with a lot before trying to do that.
guess the head of house gave us a notice mostly so we didn't have to pay rent next month while looking for a place to go. but communication is key.
So back on track with getting things finished!

Posted 10 years agoThis week sucks so hard. Basically the "head of the house" is taking in a big chunk of people in her family. Went from one night of telling me this. To me saying hell naw. To us getting our 30 days notice. To today she moving them in already without telling us. So days of planning turning into a really awkward living environment. Clutter. Nightmare. We are meeting with a suggested living situation today. Hope all goes well. Was not planning for this to all happen. I wanted to finish up andnship out some things but with the hostility I feel right now. Might need to move first. I am not sure. But I was on a roll and I am crossing my fingers for this new place to work out as soon a spossible. I am so sorry guys! :c

Posted 11 years agoYeah. Since the site went down I still don't have it on my laptop at all. Goes to Yahoo "can't find furaffinity" and I throw things. I thought It was just still down until I noticed no one else complaining and noticed it worked on my kindle. And saw many users actively updating like there is nothing wrong.
I am on my kindle on here at the moment until I figure out what to do. Anyhoo

New place! and still working on shipping things!
Posted 11 years agoBiggest thing to mention for me right now is that as of the middle of this past month I kind of moved very very last moment out of my parent's place! The move was a local one but packing everything into easy to grab boxes was alas still not easy Xb But I'm already set up in my new workspace which I think is going to be more efficient than before! Pretty much all costume making materials are accounted for and put into their new storage areas. I just need to find a bit more of my 2D art materials and artwork in a few boxes.
I managed to ship out a bunch of packages last month but am still working on packing up, finding boxes for, filling out paperwork for and sending out a bunch more ;_; I'm so sorry again for taking so long on some things. and you all are incredible for your patience with me!
There were a few things I'm learning now, such as things screwing me up/ making me take a while on some projects. like ... realizing that old E6000 yields horrible bubbles in printed eye designs. I was freaking out there for a little bit. thank goodness it was a simple fix. I kept getting dud eyes -_-
So the move was a big thing in my work, but I'm up and going otherwise! and I'm liking this new place, (quite a few roomates) but large and actually pretty quiet despite the roomates!
