So if any one knows me well they know one of the things I hate most in the world is white walls and my bedroom has three. What is worse they are the three I stare at. So I got to thinking I should commission someone for some art. So anyone have any recamedations on who. Looking for a good price and someone who can deal with my OCD.

So time to set so resolutions. I managed to keep my 2011 resolution of no more pop so let's see if I can keep all my 2012 resolutions.

#1. Be more creative. Draw more, shoot more, try new mediums yada yada yada.

#2. Take a long walk twice a week.

#3. Do more to make me happy.

So my Xmas was very event full. To start I spent the week leading upto Xmas I spent baking for meany different reasons. Other then that over the week my brother drove me insane.

Xmas morning was brunch at my parents house and I over ate

Xmas dinner at my parents house and yet again I over ate

Boxing day dinner was at my aunts and once again I over ate.

For someone who eats around 1500 calories a day to eating almost 6 times that over three days I feel rather stuffed.

Over the past week or so I have been having nightmares of being back in highschool. I take this partly on thinking I might want to go back to school. Reading further into it I believe that going back to highschool would be the most horrifying then anything I could I could think of.

So for the past few weeks I have been taking on personal projects, and in all truth I enjoy the work. When it is over I have found myself lost to my own ideas like what should I do next? This also leads to such questions as can I afford to build this? Or should this idea really see the light of day? Anyway this leads me believe that it has finally happened I have gone insane (er). I am questioning what I should do next now who know maybe I will pull out the plans for doomsday device #6583.

So once again my ideas just have to come out. Well I was working on my fursuit head a few months ago I came up with a way to modify the design and make a bull head. Well like most of my ideas I just file them away can call on them when if ever I need them. This one resurfaced after a conversation with a friend on the way to fps. What can I say some times I just have to give in and finish an idea. This time however it is going a lot faster as I kind of know what I am doing.

about a month ago Waggable was telling me about someone's Idea to make life sized plushies of people's fursonas. It is a cool idea I must say so over the last month the thought of how to do it has come in an out of my head all I would really only have to do a few modifications to a few patterns to make it. The tail and hand paws would be the same as my fursuit. The feet have a whole new patern. Finally the head is a extremely larger version of the head pattern I used for the small cs plush. I think it should take 20 to 30 hours to build.

So if you think this is a rant on how untalented losers treat artist let's wind it back a bit. I always enjoyed art in all shapes and forms in high school I loved to act and write even going as far as writing my own play about an alian crash landing in the woods and the tabloid photographer he drove insane and robbed.

After high school I was accepted into holland colleges pilot program fundamental arts there I learned about all kinds of new media and expanded on ones I knew and loved. It is also were I leaned to draw well sorta. I graduated the program as there first official graduate. Out of a class of 15 I was one out only three to do so. Not bad saying my first thought right after I heard our first term coriculum was "oh shit I'm screwed"

After fundamental arts I moved on to photography and let's say film was not my friend it took three months to find out I can't focus a medium format camera to save my life. After that though I fell into my own and by the end of my first year I had found my passion for advertising.

In my second year I came back cramming for the photoshop ace exam. have finished my photoshop forensic certification in August. I worked hard and, in October after my instructor told me an image I had taken was not really that good I entered it in to adobe's photoshop inspiration gallery competion. Need less to say I forgot about it less then an hour later. A month after I got an email from an adobe rep telling me that I had won. It was about six months later I learned from a major photoshop instructor that the competion was to find the top ten in the world. This was all after I got a call from adobe asking me why I thought I failed my ace exam. That's right you read right I failed my ace exam. Any way after a long year that really was not long enough I graduated yet again.

Now that I have gone through my education let me go on to say how I an defining myself as an artist. Yes I am a photographer but I like to say I am a lucky amicture at art but as long as I put my sole into it that will make it art. I would like to add before my next statement that I am at the stage of my artistic life where my opinion is all my work is crap were it really is not that bad to out sanding depending on what it is. Know for some truth I view every thing I do as that of a luck amicture yes even photoshop so you see why I say don't go by my standards.

Now I know this is getting long and I really have not got to my pointband, that is what pains me the most. It is not people telling me you are so lucky to have a job where all you do is push a button. Me current response to this is there are dials to. I have heard a lot of things from the let's say untalented bunch even it must be so nice to play with crayons all day. Again this is not my point what pains me most about art is not the people who bash it, it is my Carpal tunnel.

I was looking through some old writing ideas I had and came across theist old micro short story I wrote three years ago. So I fixed it up a bit.


Time is always falling past us. With every step we take, with every breath, thought, everything we do. So it seems right that this journey begin with a fall. I stare up at the dark grey abyss above me watching as the tears of the sky fell and land upon the ground then I look down to stare at not the ground but myself. A crowd has gather but they pay me no notice. I take another look and just walk away.

Today was not meant to be a day for anything just sitting back and watching the rain hit the glass of my apartment window. As I stop at a street corner flashing red lights highlight my face as they head towards the crowd. I think life is so fragile that we may try and try to hold on and, with a simple bump and a fall it can walk away.

“Is it your time or is it not?" a dark voice whispers in my ear carried only by the wind. I try to avoid it until “is it really your time? or, is there something left for you?” The dark voice is taunting me I turn but there is no one there.

For some reason I could not explain. I moved towards where I thought the voice was. The rain now flowing in rivers down the street still with a light tint of red to it flowing out to places unknown. I felt the wind change from pushing me back to pushing me onward. I stop in a dark ally in front of a door. I stare at the windows all cracked or broken beyond that nothing but the darkness. I start to turn away when...

“Are you sure it is your time? or, is they’re something better waiting on the other side?” I turn in time to see the door swing open and fall off its old rusty hinges. The wind came through the old building blasting cold air in my face.

I walk carefully into the darkness and all sounds gave way to a sudden silence. I turned to walk back out the door but now all I face is a wall. After a few more steps the silence is broken by a medley of sounds. I hear children laugh with joy, glass breaking, people yelling. It all sounds so familiar. As I walk the sounds change some happy, some sad. Screams of joy, pain, sorrow, and ecstasy.

I wonder the halls the floor give way at the departure of my feet I look to the windows but cannot see the outside world. I stare up only to see pipes drip ice cold water down onto my face. When out of the corner of my eye I see a light.

I move towards towards the light as if pulled by an imaginary force I hear the dark voice one more time “that’s it your time is up time to come with me.” I stop short look back into the dark then to the light. My mind begins to race and the noise in the halls grows louder. I look up and see the pipes and then take one final look it to the light.

I jump up and grasp the pipes letting the ground beneath my feet give way and when it had I let go and fell deep in the darkness. As I fell the voices began to quiet and, I thought I heard a faint no in the background but it only lasted a second. I shut my eyes and, let myself fall.

When I opened my eyes again I was looking down at a familiar friend. I took their hand and, let myself fade back in to them. I then knew that the journey was over.

and countless hours of my time.

so for the last 4 weeks i have been working on the head of my fur suit and it is now starting to look like a wolf instead of a cross between Darth Vader and homer Simpson.

what i have done in order

made the frame
covered the frame with a light fabric
made the eyes
wired in the fan
sewed in mesh for the eyes
hot glued on the foam.

what i have left to do

cover the head with fur
put the eyes in and secure them
make and add a nose *made nose and painted.*
feet paws.

should not take long. days to go till my goal of getting it done 35.

So I am once again dragged to the boonies. On Monday heading home on the irishtown road and at first a thought I saw a black and white cat that turned out to be a silver fox :3 then today when I was outside spinning poi I could hear about five or six foxes playing in the woods around my parents house.

So tomorrow I am going to work on the electronics for my fur suit will update soon.
