Commissions never closed, but I just received a notice that for some reason, my adoption payment check did not clear and that Gracie remains property of GABR. I need $200 asap, and I cannot ask my family for that money, they've helped with everything else.

So wall hangings, table runners, etc etc are the fastest and the cheapest, but full size quilts are also available as well (not to mention things already in my gallery that I can ship out asap).

Even if you cannot afford to order something right now, I would greatly appreciate a little signal boost.

 RingtailCafe are some of the greatest people I've ever met, and had the pleasure of working with. Coming soon, Cuddle Puppy Quilts Business cards, courtesy of  TheTak !  Salmagundi is such a peach, let me crash on the floor the last night (and I'm sure I snored, sorry!). Both  Lanoya and  SuzanneR picked up their pre-orders on Friday, I hope both of you ladies like them! Please post photos if you can because I'm a derp and did not get pictures for the gallery. Was so nice to get to talk to SuzanneR & her delightful husband (awesome non-furry dude).
Received an order paid in full for a steampunk table runner (Super excited to do this one) that I'll whip together in no time, and talked to a bunch of folks about quilts.
Also had the pleasure of having a dinner with the gents of  Rabbitvalley **Hey Meesters!** and  furplanet one night, and the company was BY FAR the best part. I think I almost snorted my soda out my nose a few times.
And then the ride back to Secret Ringtail Base had me passing out from oxygen deprivation via laughter, courtesy of The Tak and a bit about bears. Since this is a G-rated account... I won't go any further than that.

So I have a quick question for my watchers. What cons would you recommend I come to? This is not me saying I'm gonna go to every con, but I like trying new cons.

Yes, I will be leaving for Midwest Furfest in less than an hour, and will have 2 full size quilts and a small table runner in the art show, as well as a whole passel of things that will be for sale in the artist's alley if I can get in (fingers crossed for the lottery) today/saturday/maybe sunday.

I will be taking orders for ready by the holidays mini quilts/runners/wall hangings and general commission mini quilts and full sized quilts.

I have LOTS of my mini-quilts completed, and I opted for instead of cutting strips to use for a sample book at MFF, I am making sample blocks to have in binder sleeves and I'm trying to not repeat fabrics in them. That also doubles them into things that will eventually be made into quilts for sale. Gonna be pretty special.

For those interested in the Pony quilts, I can't wait to show you the cutie marks and how they fit on the whole quilt.

At MFF, I'm going to attempt to be in the Artist's Alley, and sell the pre-mades (except for the ones that already belong to  Fijimonster and  MrsRed and the 2 mini's that I'm trading to  DecolorDomina ) as well as take orders for quilts and miniquilts to be shipped. Oh yeah and I'll have doodling supplies :D

Because of the highly individual nature of quilts and there being a million ways to personalize, from embroidery to applique to hand dyed fabrics, this is a loose guide of what to keep in mind when you get ahold of me to ask for a quote. And a quick note before anyone reads further and gets sticker shock.

What goes into a quilt? Top fabric, thread (so much thread), batting, backing fabric, bullets (for stabilization, and if I do my job right, you'll never see them), and then general maintenance of the machine and the hours it takes me to piece, sandwich, quilt and bind.

Terms of Service

1. I reserve the right to deny service or turn down commission requests to anyone who is disrespectful.
2. Quotes are always open, but please understand that sewing takes time to make sure the seams match up, the machine doesn't eat it, and bind by hand.
3. Work on any commissions will not begin until a 50% nonrefundable deposit (cost of materials) has been received. Full payment is due before I set up shipping. Earlier payment is preferred and appreciated. Payment plans on a case by case basis, just ask.
4. All payment in USD $. Payment accepted via cash, money order, personal check and (coming soon) Paypal.
5. Shipping is the responsibility of the commissioner, especially if you want a trackable method.
6. International orders are accepted.
7. Due dates for commissions are to be agreed upon at time of commission, if I cannot keep up, you will be kept updated and we will resolve it privately.
8. If the applique or embroidery that you request is complicated, there will be an extra fee.
9. I share my home with canines. If you are allergic, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me ahead of time so your quilt can be made in an animal-free environment at the quilt shop or at my grandmother's.
10. Turn around for a mini-quilt is 1-2 weeks plus shipping. Full size quilts can take up to 7 weeks, based on my schedule. Please keep in mind when thinking about ordering.
11. I also reserve the right to review and changes these terms on a rare case-by-case basis or full-time changes with a 1 week warning.

In a shameless attempt to gain watchers, I am offering a free personal quilt! But I must reach 50 watchers to do this. 1 in 50, the odds are fairly good to get something, but for every additional 50 watchers I get after that, I'll throw in an extra prize of a small wall-hanging or couch runner! Contest runs from today (Oct 21st) until November 3rd at midnight!
