I know this is a late post but I finished my first ever furry convention on Sunday evening. I have to say it was the best time I've had in a long time. Got to meet some amazing people, artists, fursuiters and others that made my experience all the more great.

All the panels were great, the Iron Artist panel was a lot of fun and the concerts were entertaining. Sadly I cannot dance to save my own life but I did watch others on the dance floor which was fun. Got some cool commissions and some other things from the con.

The downstairs escalators kept breaking every five minutes which was kinda inconvenient but all in all, it was a great first experience for a furry convention and hope to do it again next year.

Well, I have less than a month left until I have to report back to school. I had a good summer. Got to make some money and to relax but unfortunately that has to come to an end. Anyways, I won't be around that much for maybe two years at the most as I complete my degree and maybe finally start to get paid for waking up at 6:00 in the morning.

Just got back from the cinema and the movie was 100% kick ass! Non-stop action and I want one of those Camaros when they come out!

Ok, I apparently didn't get the full gist of the impact the expenses had on me. The cost of getting my car repaired may be in the thousands of dollars, my dental bills and medical bills may also be in the thousands, and to top it off I'm going to have to put my life on a complete stand still to finally finish school and get my degree behind me. So it looks like I may not be attending any cons for the next two years if not more. Anyways, I will try to be online albeit very scarcely but I will attend a con...eventually.

I am sorry to say that I will not be attending Anthrocon this year. I have had some unexpected expenses, some of it automotive, some of it personal, and some of it medical. I should be graduating from school next year (hopefully) and I will be attending some cons next year.

Ok, I know I posted last year that AC was in the bag but it looks like it might have gotten out of the bag. I still have my own apartment but I don't have a job at the moment. So I can't reasonably get up there and spend money without having a positive cash flow. There are job openings, however. near where I live, and I'm applying everywhere. I'd say there' a <5% chance that I may be going. If I have a job, it would boost it up to 75% so there ya go. Anyways, I'll keep ya posted as the situation develops.

Ok I'm sick, I have finals, don't know a damn thing about them because my textbooks read like stereo instructions. On the bright side I only have about a week of school left.

I repeat AC '07 is go. I'm going to Anthrocon baby!!! Just found out that I'm going to have enough funding by the time next year rolls around so money and transportation won't be a problem (providing my car doesn't break down again). I just hope nothing else arises that will keep me from going. On a sadder note, I won't be able to make it to the Voodoo Music Fest in New Orleans which is featuring Duran Duran. I have the ticket and a way down there, I just have nobody to go with and New Orleans isn't a place you want to venture to on your own. So there's $55 down the drain. Ah well, screw it, I'm goin' to AC next year! WOO HOO! *dances around* My first convention!!!

Its the 18th and I turn 25 today! WOOO HOOO!!!! *blows out the candles*

And she's near Lake Pontchartrain! Dude, Duran Duran is going to be in New Orleans on the 29th! I'm trying my best to get tickets to it. They're going to be at the Voodoo Music Festival in New Orleans. I've been a fan of their music since the 7th grade and probably one of the best bands to ever come out of the 80's. I still have most of their albums too. But can't wait to go...can't wait to get the money to go. Anyways, peace out.

Ok this is starting to get old. My roommates do nothing but party and at all the wrong hours. It 4:00 in the morning where I'm at and they are playing their stereo as loud as it can go and playing poker. They have been doing this since 10:00 this evening. One of my roommates smoke, I don't know if he knows I'm allergic to cigarrete smoke or not but I seen him chain smoke to the point the apartment is filled with smoke. I can't sleep right now, I'm starting to get a migraine and my eyes are burning because the bastard refuses to open a window. It looks like I'm not going to get any sleep tonight, at least not in a bed. I'm heading to my car to get a few hours of sleep.
