Tomorrow is the beginning of the last week of school, forever!
The pressure in on to remember all I was taught during these past two years.
If I can just pass I'll be happy, can't wait to finally not have to think about so
many things. Learning stuff you don't have much care for can really effect scores.
But onto something more positive, tomorrow is also muck up week. All us year 12's
get to dress up and participate in some small activities. Of course I'll be walking to
school as Drag tomorrow(hopefully it won't be too warm) then the next day I'll be a
stalker from the video game series Stalker.(So i'll be wearing gas mask and tattered
clothes).

New review is up, this time it's Medal of Honor, a very boring CoD clone.

Today is the last day of holidays. Knowing that I only 3 weeks left of school forever,
I am not feeling too good about it. Exams coming up, I haven't studied at all so i'm
already off to a crap start. I just don't feel so good about school being over forever.
I don't know what to do with myself once everything is done.

I just hope that I don't do a horrible job on my exams.

Well I did a little bit more than I did last year. For one thing they had more games to play
so I had a go at some Team Fortress 2 and Super Mario 3. I also fursuited a lot more
as well and walked around with another fursuiter(She was so floofy :3). Best thing of all
I met  carnival there and I bought an expensive commission of Drag! I know a certain
someone that would be very jelly when I tell them ;)

Sadly I don't think the horn on my fursuit's head can last another trip, it just gets worse
and worse and no amount of super glue can fix it.
So all and all it was a bit better than last. I had more fun and got to fursuit a bit more too.

So I will be heading off to manifest tomorrow. I plan on staying in my fursuit for the majority of the day because
I hardly ever do at cons. Also popular aussie fur  carnival will be there selling her artwork I am assuming so it
would be cool to see her.

Not sure if should bring my camera though, I don't want to accidentally lose it or drop it.

I'll be going to Manifest in Melbourne again sometime this month. Just wondering if anyone else is going?

I bought Mortal Kombat 2 days ago and have been enjoying it a lot. Mortal Kombat has
always been the fighting game I prefer since the first 3 on the Sega Megadrive(That's
what it was called in Australia). So any MK fans here?

I think the bar for epic, massive action scenes has just been raised. The action is the focus of Pacific Rim.
It doesn't try to be the best story or try the to the best movie ever, cause it knows what it is. Giant
robots called Jaegers versus giant monsters called Kaiju. How often have we actually seen films like that? Not very much, not
in western countries anyway. The action is very satisfying, every hit looks like it hurts, since these are
giant beings fighting the force of each punch and impact is emphasized. It's just so much fun to see them
go at each other. Don't be surprised if you see people pretending to stomp around and slowly punch imaginary monsters.

The world of Pacific Rim in my opinion is well designed, it is very colourful and designs for the jaegers and kaijus are
spectacular. All the technology seems very well thought-out. Granted it is set in the future after attacks have already
happened.

The performances are not amazing however I did enjoy Idris Elba's character. It just felt right to me.

So that was my quick impression.(If its hard to understand that's because i'm just doing it with planning) If you like anime,
cartoons, action movies in general i definitely recommended the movie.I will say that it is best watched at the cinema for
the audio because you'll be wanting the full impact of the fights. You can probably tell I was happy with it, so were the two guys behind me. :P

Yep once again, you know the drill

I am back from Oz Comic Con, for those who may be confused about the Oz part, i guess you can say its the
aussie version of Comic Con. Anyways a friend was going and wanted to bring my along. It was short notice
but I haven't been out much during the holidays and plus I could wear my fursuit which sadly I did not wear
for very long. My friend and I spent most of our time looking for each other since it was so easy to suddenly
disappear into the crowd. Yes it was very very crowded but that's to be expected of course. There was much
to see. Something I didn't expect to see there was the Oculus Rift and people were allowed to try it, I had the
chance to but since my friend were on a mission somewhere I didn't want to lose them.

There was a giant bust of a xenomorph, it was so cool, pretty expensive too. The xeno figurine I got is pretty
cool, good price. The guests for the con were kinda hit and miss besides from William Shatner, who I did not
get to see. Todd from Scrubs was there though.

TL,DR I had a great time and it was good to finally go to a con with friends and not the family this time. My
friend's costume were pretty popular too.

This awesome gal  Zweenie does some really cute art and is also doing a raffle at the moment.

So my holidays have begun, another two weeks of rest. Well kind of because I
do have a karate tournament. I've got a few things to do like finish games,
make a martial arts film, homework and draw. I kinda start practicing today
during class.

Anyways I'll be a bit happier and hopefully more active now :D

Thursday, Friday, Today and tomorrow has been all just gaming. I've missed gaming so much ;_;
I've been playing Final Fantasy 4 on DS, I've nearly finished. Got back into The Witcher, I'm
really loving it, the gorgeous graphics, interesting story, a fantasy world I can't yawn at and it's
very mature. I've also gotten back into Euro Truck Simulator, driving trucks is fun some how.
I'm still waiting for Mortal Kombat 9 to come out on PC, that's coming at the beginning of July.

Hurray exams are over, now I can sit back and relax. Ah but no, I must do what I've
been wanting to do, drawing, video games, movies. Time to have some fun.

Oh and i think i did alright in exams too

Well I'm more leaning towards the PS4 because it's more consumer friendly, until
I heard you have to pay to play online. I guess i won't play any online games then
and stick to PC for my competitive gaming.

Tomorrow I start the exam period. Its going to last till next Thursday.

Once they're done its time to kick back and start doing all the side
projects I've been wanting to do. The video game review I am most
excited to do.

I have no idea why, it must be because of the surreal story or the fact that I
was wanting to play the game ever since it was still going to be a sandbox
game. Perhaps it could also be that the game kinda feels like Max Payne. No
its definetly has to be the music, no it has to be the inspired Twin Peaks approach
to the story and presentation. Oh I don't know but this damn game interests me
very much. I better hurry up and finish it so I can play the DLC and then
American Nightmare.

Uh... oh the feeling to draw stuff is slowly coming back so... maybe watch out for
stuff when I'm on holidays? Which is a month from now.

Exams are coming up and of course I'm not looking forward to them. Don't know
when they're on anymore, either next week or the week after though I'm certain
its next week. We've hardly even prepared for them, still got tests and learning new
things. History is the only class that has been preparing for it.

So, misery ahead.

So the Xbox One has been revealed earlier today. I am wondering what everyone's
opinion is on the console and reveal show if you watched it. I did see the reveal show
but I think I've read enough to be cautious about purchasing the console. (Not like i'm
going to anyway)

After thinking about it for a while, I've come to the conclusion that, as long as all the
other crap they've crammed into doesn't get in the way of my gaming, than it should be
fine. However, games practically have passes for them now. So, you buy a game, it HAS
to be installed on the Xbox One, thus linking it to your account, now for the annoying part.
That means if a friend wants to be borrow the game you just installed, THEY HAVE TO PAY
A FEE TO INSTALL IT! Since you already linked it to your account.

Now i'm hoping this isn't true but, hell, Microsoft just wants to make new ways to get more
of your money.

So, what is your opinion?

My sister got a 3DS so she gave me her DS XL. The only game I've got is Ninja Gaiden
and I've nearly finished Chrono Trigger. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations
for DS games, though I do wish i had a 3DS or Vita.

Oh and please don't recommended Pokemon, that's not the only game for DS you know and
I got over it when I played it on the Gameboy. >: (
