Boston Furbowl Experience
General | Posted 15 years agoToday was awesome and had a wicked time. It was so awesome to see the great turn out and got to meet so many new and nice furs. The lunch meet-up was fun, the bowling awesome, and had a great time walking around the Boston Commons with some furs we meet at the fur bowling. It was kinda sad that it ended so quickly, but to many had other places they needed to be or didn't have enough money to keep bowling. We hope events like this keep happening.
The day started with me and my mate
daje taking the train into South Station (Boston) where we met up with
ferrin,
Dynamite22, and others whose names I couldn't catch. We went to Lamberts to grab a quick bite to eat. We then frantically raced from south station to Alewife on the red line to arrive fashionably late to the fur bowl (was all good as we were with the sponsor of the event). The furbowl consisted of candle-pin bowling which I was totally new to, and just having a good time hanging out. While there, we met a nice Cadre of furs.
Around 5 the meet died down and people started leaving sadly. Most either didn't want to/couldn't bowl more, or had stuff they needed to take care of. Everyone just went their ways. Me and my mate ended up heading out with
FullNekoAlchemist,
SilvaNoir,
Tsunami-Dragon, and
o-kemono. It was an interesting trip from the bowling ally back to the red line where we saw a deer, and three bunnies. Riding the red line with them all was really enjoyable. When we arrived at the downtown crossing, we had a great time walking with all but Neko (who sadly had to get off at an earlier stop) around the Boston Commons and then walking down some streets of Boston till we ended up at the Prudential Center where we all parted ways.
All in all, this was a real great and awesome day and I hope to keep making furry meets in Boston. I can truly say this was one of the best and most fun filled days I've had in awhile. Was just awesome being able to escape everything for awhile and have a blast.

Character Description
General | Posted 15 years agoWell, since I'm doing so much work on FA tonight with my profile, might as well upload this word description of my Fursona. As for my fursona's personality, it's the same as me ^_^.
-The husky stands 6'0" tall, with a medium build. His hair is a vibrant blue that contrast against his partial blue coat. The hair hangs over his white forehead. His face is completely white which extends a little past his face outline. There, the fur turns to warm, royal blue color which covers the rest of his head. His paws and feet paws are completely white, and his forearms and shins are partially white. The front of his neck, chest, belly, crotch, and rump are white. This white patch extends down the inside of both his thighs. The outside of his thighs, back of his neck, and his back are blue. The tail is blue on the top and white on the bottom, and has a little bit of a white tip. On his upper arms, the white fur is on the inside of the arms, as well as covering his armpits. The blue fur covers the outside of his upper arms, and also covers most of the shoulders. A little below the elbows, and below the knees for the legs, the blue fur changes to white.-
