Hi! Things got lot's of hectic lately, but I'm managing on a heightened anxiety instead of meds, but here's another shiny new (old) thing I joined and. Man. VRChat! I wasn't realizing how much I was missing these years. Doesn't help social anxiety per se, but of all things, the avatar - quadruped gryphon - won my heart and I persisted. It was shared by Purpzie publicly (original model is by manyblinkinglights - go throw some coin at them!) and she is doing an amazing job at animating it and tweaking shaders for it. I just love being a creature, like, finally! Especially if it's the incredibly pretty kitty bird brain I can translate my single cell through!

I'm still pretty much new to the game and I'm struggling at socializing, but I feel it'll get better the more I do it.

Hope ya'll doing well and enjoying the first days of the full-swing summer!

I'm alright! Stuck with near-zero motivation, sleep disorder and inconsistent energy levels for months, but managing. Just started another round of kicking myself out of kinda paralyzed productivity state.

Was granted a second year of temporary residence so that let off a lot of stress. Brain still bad but I made a good progress on learning how to keep my sanity in check at the very least.

Haven't really drawn in aaaaages and I really need to step it up. Gotta start properly maintaining my business, since I'm running out of savings.

And to help me with that (I suppose) I have couple of taxes/bills I need to cover ASAP, I figured it's a good time I take couple of commissions (and work my way through artblock backwards, if that makes sense).

So, I'm thinking of 2 slots at €30 via PayPal. Detailed head-bust sketch with simple colors (like Mood: mildly unsatisfied by CuteMuzzle -- Fur Affinity [dot] net) or full-body sketch with base colors (experimental, so haven't built any examples yet), no background.

After Old Phycho started a war campaign, I immediately decided to move out the country. I had no moral right to feed the war machine anymore, nor deal with oppressive government and looming isolation of the huge nation, casted as an agressor, knocking back the progress for decades to come.

While most folk - family, friends, mutuals - were super supportive and positive, I couldn't help but feel overwhelming grief. War changed everything, revealed the true nature of people.

Yes, I did try to flee as soon as possible. But not without my Drache! For 2 months I was desperate to tear him out of this bureaucracy ridden hell, researched and researched and researched, called, ride, negotiate, spend money everywhere, 3 times losing my hope and going circles. And I had successfully prepared the groundwork, booked a separate freight flight, got a special container for the Dragon, made an agreement with a landlord so they help me to relocate him with me, all the necessary preparations and certificates except one you have to get some days prior to export.
That one certificate I had to get the very last day.
And it wasn't issued. Doctors found some kind of eggs of parasites in his stool. Guess who HAD to CALL ME because I SPECIFICALLY ASKED them in case they find anything during the test? The answer is - nobody. Nobody cared. And I had a scheduled meeting with an agent to set the all operation to start.

Government didn't allow the transportation of the dragon. After all I did and lost a bunch of hair and sanity for. The last fucking possible day and last fucking possible hour.

I was mortified. Then angry. Then went into denial, on edge. You know, usual stuff okay fine. I just had to part ways with him and arrange his moving to another keeper while I'm already out. In a day. Hometown pals made it possible. Forever grateful.

And I - I did what I could. I had to move on.

And I left the homeland.

Serbia welcomed me so much I would deem something out of fantasy world if someone told me times earlier. I still can't believe I met so many really good people with biggest hearts.
Landlord meets me at the airport, ride me to the apartment, makes all the papers, helps with necessities.
Friend of a friend of a friend helps me to plow through legalization process, translations, contracts, banks.
I'll soon be an official digital artist entrepreneur with self-employed status. After that all I have to do is to apply for temporary residence permit and open some commissions, yay!
Many tabs are open to learn the language, and the beautiful city is open to integrate, amazing nature to take my soul to sing!

And here I am - sobbing, unmotivated mess going through same brain tricks cycle shit I could not escape or flee from.
But it's worse this time.
And even more alone.

I feel like I'm holding on off friends immense support and meds I take. I struggle and I'll seek some help.
And I'm so tired.
Through tears I keep repeating myself "Why is this happening to me? Where, when did I fuck up? Why can't I just be normal?" But I know there's no answering that. It's just the way it is.

I was born and raised in Russiа, and I did not choose nor support dickheads that 'usurp the throne' - that throw his own nation against brothers. I'm both nervous and excited, as any beginner would be, but I remain confident in my ability to start off my self-employment career and keep myself busy, while art labor can be transferred in active income. Year and half has passed since I quit a regular job to heal up, grow personally and find my creative path, learn some discipline and keep it at everyday basis. However, it's time to pour some skill into art!
