Taking the next step in my life. Moving towards the good.
Posted 13 years ago** Commissions and trades will not be possible until further notice**
Tomorrow. I leave tomorrow. By greyhound bus at 8 am.
It's an exciting and thrilling experience. It is a wonderful opportunity that I actually get to take part in. I'm ecstatic.
I am also terrified. I know that it is a completely normal experience. But, it is scary for me. I have never done anything like this. I have never been completely on my own.
A part of me doubts that I can do this. A part of me wants to act like a 5 year old who needs her mommy so I can stay at home. A part of me seems to continuously make up excuses to avoid leaving.
A larger part of me is staying strong. That part of me know that I am doubting myself and I can do it. I have been through a lot and I survived. I will go to Job Corps and I will make the absolute best out of it. I will get certified in the trade(s) I choose and I will go off to college. I will become successful and important. I will make a great life for myself.
This will be an important and exhilarating experience. I have a ton of people supporting me and I know that they will continue to do so. I know that when I have my bad days that I'm not going to want to get out of bed. I'm going to want to throw in the towel and give up on everything I am working towards. I also know that I will put on my big girl pants and get up and go on.
I will be great. This will be a fantastic experience. And, I will return an even better person. ♥

Short update!
Posted 13 years agoHad a surgery to remove my gallbladder on Tuesday and had another gallstone removed from my common bile duct on Wednesday. I'm home safe and sound today. Definitely recovering. Sore but no longer in "gut-explosion" pains. Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes and watches!
Sorry for the lack of uploads
Posted 13 years agoI do apologize for the fact that it has been about 5 months since I uploaded anything. This has been due to multiple reasons.
First off, I have a variety of health issues and when I do get sick, I don't do much of anything. Good news is that I seem to be doing better and getting sick less often.
Secondly, I am trying to get my life on track. I've learned that college is quite expensive and getting a job with no experience is no easy feat. Currently, I am waiting on Job Corps to call me back so I can leave for that. It is basically a vocational training school - sort of like pre-college. So, preparing for that leaves little time for new plush to be made.
Third, I have been fighting a bit of depression. And, as much as a part of me wants to sew and make cute plush, it is quite difficult to pull myself out of bed some days. I have been handling it better and I will, hopefully soon, be looking into going back into therapy and getting on some medicine.
Last, I currently have an injured wrist. The doctor I saw in the ER said I sprained it/bruised the bone. But, on a trip to my family doctor with my mother, he took a look at it and wants to see me Monday or Tuesday because he fears I may have fractured a bone along the side of my wrist. So, that does impair the ability to sew right now.
I am sorry for my lack of uploads. I promise that when my hand is better, I'm off to work on more plush. I have an in-process hamster that I can't wait to finish!!

This is what I created last night, It is a white star made of white polar fleece. I have recently learned that fleece works better for me because it is more forgiving. I am also trying out new patterns so I will have a few items for NekoCon.

I may be a bitch at times, I may curse too much, I may be a little bit childish. I might not be the brightest crayon in the box, and yeah, I like to be in the center of attention 95% of the time. I may start singing and dancing randomly, or laugh too loud, or even embarrass you in public with my crazy antics, but guess what honey! That's me. If you don't like it, then sowwy :) but nobody is perfect and I'm not changing for any man; I love myself just the way I am.

I am a up and coming plush creator and I love to make plush for anyone and everyone. If you would like a comission, please note me. Check out my page to see what I have made so far and I can make any of those critters for you. If you would like to make a special order for something you do not see on my page, note me and I will see what I can do. My plush range from $10 to $20 and shipping is normally $3.
