Dragoneer, but I'm also seeing rumors of FA shutting down?
I don't wanna jynx nothing, but I don't wanna see people go nuts and go 'Y2K', panicking over nothing. Leave that to cultists so they can win themselves some Darwin Awards.
I don't think FA would just shut down just like that. I mean I hope it doesn't, otherwise I'd have to get a real job XD Tho I do have Inkbunny, just in case, but even then.
But yeah, let's not lose our heads.

Of Thors and Snyders
General | Posted a year agoWith the wake of 'Deadpool and Wolverine', it's certainly gonna shake up the MCU with Mutants entering the picture. Especially with that end-credit scene with Monica in 'The Marvel's. And of course, the speculations are rising up, as it would in any given circumstances. I mean, RDJ playing Doc Doom? I definitely didn't see that coming. Am I excited for that? Hell yah. Do I wanna see Kang make a return? Of course. You can do it like 'Endgame' and build Kang up to be a big bad with all the other Kangs we saw at the end of 'Quantumania'. Suck that they'll have to replace Jonathan Majors, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Whether he actually admits to the accusations being put on him, we'll just have to see. That's the difference between him and RDJ during his troubled past.
Speaking of troubled, I came across a Youtube short on directorial speculations for future MCU films. Couldn't tell you the name of the guy who said this, but he stated that if they ever do a Thor 5, he'd like to see Zack Snyder direct it.

Look, I've made it no secret I'm not fond of Snyder or his work. If you do like him and his stuff, more power to you. I'm not insulting you for liking him and his stuff, that ain't my intention. I'm just saying that -
ain't no way in HELL do I ever want him directing any kinda comic book movie ever again, especially for the MCU!!! I hate Snyder's nihilistic takes on superhero stuff and how 'Gods wouldn't help mortals' shit that was prevalent heavily in 'Man of Steel' and 'Batman vs Superman'. Or did we forget how the man hated superhero stuffs until the likes of 'Watchmen' came out? Or how he infamously stated that superhero stuff are for virgin nerds (something along those lines) and how he said that his version of Batman would get raped in a prison scene?! No? Not ringing any bells?
The Youtuber goes onto say that Snyder would make Thor serious again. When was Thor ever THAT serious to begin with?! He's been consistent in all 4 movies and in the cartoons and some comics I've seen him in that he's a jovial dude that gets serious when the situation calls to him to be. Nothing should be that serious all the time. It gets boring.
It's just like after Frank Miller did 'Holy Terror', he said he wanted to go back to Marvel to make Captain America stories. But Marvel laughed off that idea, and rightly so. He'd probably have Cap murder Kamala Khan knowing his racist take on Muslims. Yeah, I've lost so much respect for the man in recent years cuz of how he is as a person and a filmmaker.
No, I do not want a Zach Snyder directed Thor movie; all dreary, miserable all the time, devoid of life (not to mention color), constantly talking about superheroes being gods like it was beaten into out heads when we say 'MoS' & 'BvS'. And if he did, we all know he'll make YET ANOTHER 'superior version' that's over 3 hours long that doesn't fix the problems present in the film. I STILL refuse to watch the Snyder-cut of Justice League, cuz I refuse to watch things brought out by bad behavior in part thanks to his rabid fans. Afterall I did he the 'superior version' of 'BvS', and I hate it even more. And I refuse to watch 'Rebel Moon', his Star Wars ripoff. I'm done giving Snyder chances. I can never take Superman or Batman seriously again after his take on them. 'Martha' is still the butt of every joke after 8 years. 'My Adventures with Superman' is redeeming Supes for me. Shoot I can do a whole thing on why 'Deadpool and Wolverine' worked while 'BvS' failed. No, it's not cuz of Marvel vs DC, it's because we like the characters in one while we didn't in the other.
So yeah, I don't want Snyder anywhere near the MCU. DC movies have had a rocky decade thanks to Warner Bros. making bad decision after bad decision, hiring Snyder in the first place, and the fallout as the result of his influence. By far, the best thing to come out has been 'Blue Beetle' and I do hope they keep the characters in that movie around. I can only hope James Gunn can pick up the pieces, but from what I've seen with Supes new suit... THANK GOD IT'S IN COLOR!
That said, do I want a Thor 5? Definitely! Do I want Thor vs Hercules? Most definitely! But I can wait for that, for we got some interesting stuffs for the future.

Don't worry, I won't say any spoilers if you haven't seen it yet. But I just wanna address the elephant in the room, cuz... *sighs* God... dammit... I knew these terminally-online wastes-of-oxygen incels were gonna make a crack at this. By that, amongst the many a cameo in this movie, oh we definitely see Ladypool. And of course, they brand it their 'bait and switch' tactics. Just like they did with 'Loki' and Marvel Jesus only knows what else, decreeing 'it's gonna happen'. These guys are like the douchebag doomsday-sayers, saying; 'it's gonna happen here! Oh no, my bad! it's gonna happen here!' Cuz they know how gullable their like-minded audiences are. ALWAYS LYING! These are the kinda 'fans' that've never picked up a comic book in their lives, and feel they have the authority to judge.
But beyond that, the movie's definitely got heart and laughs. Where the MCU goes with this particular junction point? Who can say, but I'm all here for it. And I think you'll like the different cameos in this, some I didn't even expect to see ever again, but dang.
But yeah, your mileage may vary, but go give this a looksee. ^^

If you can answer those questions, lemme know below. Reason I ask this, cuz this applies to some toys that have clear plastic in their construction.
Why am I talking about Earthrise Bluestreak in particular? Well cuz I done broke the back part that makes up the hood of his car mode.
Let that be a lesson: CLEAR PLASTIC AIN'T DURABLE!
So yeah, I do hope Hasbro redoes not just Bluestreak, but SS'86 Ironhide and Ratchet, cuz they do got clear plastic. Yet oddly enough their battle damaged/dead versions of those toys don't got that. Raise your hands if that don't make a lick of sense.

General | Posted a year agoThat's right, Autobabes and Decepti-jerks! Legacy Omega Prime has been fully funded with 28,230 backers, including your truly. Making it the most backed Haslab project thus far. Now it's ready to get under production *heavy sigh* Nooooowwwww.... to wait 17 to 18 months for it to actually ship out. The only downside -_-
But it's OK, I'm nothing if not patient. Plus, tons of groovy stuff coming out within those months, including our favorite poetry-slammin' baddest and smartest shark around in town - Sky-Byte. ^^ I do hope we get more Legacy figures in from 'Car Robots'. I mean Sideburn's a given what with the Legacy Shadowstriker mold. ^^ Shoot, let's get the Trainbots in our collection!
Oy God, when this figure was announced, it really brought out the dumbasses out of the wood work, clamoring that 'This is gonna be Hasbro's BIGGEST mistake!' or "Nobody's gonna back this up!' Really? 28,230 backers says otherwise. And care to elaborate on HOW this was a mistake? What, it's not what Hasbro 'promised' it was gonna be in some kinda delusion in your head that made you think it was 'promised' It wasn't a Legacy G1 Metroplex, or a Primus that would make a companion piece to Haslab Unicron? If y'all know me by now, y'all should know that I cannot stand City-formers. It's just a big-ass dude doing yoga and being labelled as 'a city'. No offense to those who like 'em and/or own any kind of Metroplex and Fortress Maximus, but they just don't appeal to me. I'm perfectly happy with the Legacy Transformers Cybertron Metroplex. He is the best Metroplex. Change my mind.
And dear Lord, if it was a Haslab Primus, no way in HELL I woulda backed that. No, I didn't back the Haslab Unicron. Number 1: Absolutely no room for it. Number 2: Thew's review of Haslab Unicron echoed my thoughts exactly on what I thought it was gonna be. Just massive shell-former with no bells and whistles that would be a pain in the ass to transform. I have the Supreme Class 2011 anniversary Unicron toy; a retool of the 2003 Armada toy painted up to look like his movie version. Got it for $75 on eBay. I don't care about the parts-forming, I'm perfectly happy with it. As for Primus, I have the 2010 Creator Primus toy, a retool of the 2005 toy, and I'm totally fine with that. (As I'm writing this journal, I just found out that the 2010 Primus toy suffers from Gold Plastic Syndrome. I've had him in planet-mode since then, and I think I'll keep him that way permanently) Neither of 'em are gonna be in scale with anything ever. So wouldn't mind smaller versions of 'em, like a leader-class version. I'll take it. Titan-class is pushing it!
With all that said, if the Haslab would be a Transformers Animated version of Omega Supreme as was one of the possibilities when the announcement was made, I definitely woulda backed that. ^^ That said again, I DO want that toy eventually. That and the TF Energon of him ^^
Anyhoo, yeah, I'm frickin' happy we're getting a new version of Omega Prime. I've been wanting a Legacy version of RID Optimus ever since the line was introduced. When I started collecting Transformers again at the start of 2019, I somehow managed to buy the Takara version of Fire Convoy/RID Prime in such great condition; intact rubber tires and all. But that said, that toy had QC issues, and balancing problems when it came to its Super Mode. I still love it, but I did want an update. Never had God Magnus/Ultra Magnus from RID, but the horror stories of the toy I've heard... oy. And again, stability issues. But with this, hopefully all those issues will be addressed, and from the recent images, looks like they are taking it into consideration.
'But it's $250!!!', said the G-whiners. AND!?!?!?! It cost that much or more for just one of them on eBay! And don't get me started on the Encore versions! Say we did get these in the mainline, they'd be sold separately, and Legacy RID Magnus wouldn't have sold as well. So it does make sense they did it this way. Plus me and the other backers unlocked its two tiers, and we're getting Omega Prime's MASSVIE SWORD! So what're you complaining about? Do I wish there was a 3rd tier to unlock? Yeah, maybe a little T-AI figure to go with it? But that's just me.
But yeah, thank you, Haslab for giving me this. Absolutely glad I backed up Victory Leo and Deathsaurus when I did. I say whilst continuously forgetting that I've had the Haslab Deathsaurus in his box since its delivery last fall as well as its filler parts and Toyhax decals, and needs to get off my lazy ass and do it already, as well as Legacy Nemesis!!!!! I do need to set a day for them though.
Anyways, lemme know how y'all feel about this if you're a backer or not.

Haven't talked as much as much on my take on Transformers toys. In particularly, the ladies of both 'Bots and 'Cons. But in case anyone does ask, thus far my fave Auto-Gal has gotta be the recent Legacy Evolution Windblade. Transforming her is fun, and I so can't wait to have her Toyhax decals. ^^
But no, I'm talking about Arcee. Yes, the 'SS86' version is leaps and bounds over her 'Earthrise' figure. But I'm talking about her blue version, not pink. What the hell do I mean? The Legacy Prime Arcee of course. Because I am just seeing so much hate on the figure. How come I'm not seeing this with Kingdom Tracks? Cuz that piece of crap truly deserves the once over! Oh, and Road Rage, what've they done to ya, lass?!
Now when I started collecting Transformer figures again back in 2019, I bought certain figures from the different Transformer toylines that tickled my fancy. Of course, among then were the first edition TF:Prime Arcee and another one that was from a TF:Prime toyline from like 2013(?). And I gotta be honest, those toys really did nothing for me back in 2019. The First edition Arcee was just fiddley, especially in the chest believe it or not. But when I got the Legacy Prime Arcee, I was totally into it. Yes, I will say this right off the bat, the wheels on the side of her legs is daunting at first, but the transformation is clean once you get the hang of it. Cuz Hasbro suck with their instructions sometimes! And I like the toys we got from this mold. Again this is just my take about a toy. Love it or hate it, it's just an opinion at the end of the day. And me, I love the toy. Definitely get the Toyhax decals and its upgrade kits; much better armblades than those translucent blue pieces of crap she came with.

Haven't talked as much as much on my take on Transformers toys. In particularly, the ladies of both 'Bots and 'Cons. But in case anyone does ask, thus far my fave Auto-Gal has gotta be the recent Legacy Evolution Windblade. Transforming her is fun, and I so can't wait to have her Toyhax decals. ^^

Need some SWEET help with Pokemon ^^

And as some also may know, I have my six Pokemon, all gonna be thicc herms:
Goodra
Bewear
Lapras
Scolipede
Snorlax
& Dracozolt
Art of these 6 bois will come, sooner than later, but I'm inspired to make some Sweet Versions of these.
Now there's a S'morlax, and I'm a massive S'mores fan, so that's already set in stone. There's Lempras for Lapras... but I think that's kinda mid personally. And there's no info of Sweet Versions for the others in the 'Cookbook' XD
So if anybody have any ideas/suggestions for the others, let me know your favorite candy, fruit, desserts, etc. Like with Goodra, I might make a bubblegum ditty, and call him 'Gumdra' ^^

But yes, just got back from seeing 'The Marvels'. Don't worry, I won't give away any spoilers. But off the bat, don't listen to the usual army of whiny, grifting, incel internet assholes.
Oh golly gee wilikers, how I cannot wait to see YouTube recommending the hundreds after HUNDREDS of vids by Geeks+Incel Gamers, Quater-Pounder, The Clown-fish, and The Critical Always-Drunk as they spout off their usual verbal diarrhea about how they think the movie is 'woke' as they repeat like a Pokémon saying nothing but its name ad nauseum. How they'll claim the movie is a 'disaster', or how it's a 'failure' if it don't reach $1 billion dollars. Or if it does, they cry saying; 'IT'S A CONSPIRACY!' Or how they ALWAYS lie to get their money, saying that 'nobody went to go see the movie'.
It was almost packed in the theater I saw it in, and it's one of the smaller ones at my Yorba Linda theater.
I never heeded their bigoted crap before. And ever since they've gotten just more ridiculous as the years go by. Now I have MORE incentive to never wanna listen to what they have to say since they cheered for something regarding what's happened with the merging Warner-Discovery, its CEO, and one of my favorite DC gals. Oh, believe me, I'm gonna talk about this in a later journal. For those who know what I'm talkin' about, about one David Zaslav, lemme know down below.
Regardless of that crap, if I've said it once, I've said it more than once, your mileage may vary. Some will say it has baggage, I say it addresses some things I've wanted to know. Some will say it's a new low for the MCU. If knowing your crap is crazy and have fun with it is a 'new low', then I don't wanna know what you think is fun. And I know people are gonna say there's 'no stakes' in this, like they did with 'Qantumania'. Well it let's me know you didn't actually WATCH the damn movie I mean I know you suck at your jobs when you didn't rail on 'Cocaine Bear' when it did the very things you 'claim' are in a female-led MCU film.
But yea, I had a great time seeing this. It was very fun, and funny. I absolutely dug the chemistry between the 3 gals, and I wanna see more of 'em. Yeah, these guys keep expecting something of 'great cinematic value' like it's the frickin' 'Godfather or something, with the most snobbish mindset possible. I never expect this movie to be absolutely perfect, which it ain't, but nothing is. But I don't expect it to be a 'disaster' or whatever buzzword you wanna throw at it like the jackasses do these days. Nah, I just wanna have fun when seeing a movie, which I did ^^
Yeah, go ahead and see the movie for yourselves. I had a ball with it, and I deem it worthy of getting it on DVD. ^^

Who likes to army-build? I'm talking the Seekers, Sweeps, the new Auto Troopers.
Any got that Buzzworthy Bumblebee Troop-Builder Mulitpack? If so... how many of 'em? XD How many of those guys are we gonna flood in out collector shelves? XD
As of now my count is:
3 Seekers (which lighting on the colors made it look EXACTLY like Earthrise Thundercracker, but getting then in-hand they look pretty rad with their colors ^^)
7 Quintesson Soldiers, including 4 of the old Alicons from Earthrise, and not counting 3 more just ordered. And I think these new ones are better coloration-wise. ^^ Shoot, I wanna make out an Autobot, cuz why the hell not?! I got the Toyhax Autobot decals. Who don't like an underdog of a bunch turnin' against his masters and deciding to fight with the good guys. Like Teal'c in Stargate SG1. Headcanons, amirite? XD
3 of those Cybertronian Troopers for G2 Jhiaxus.
And... oh boy... 10 COUNT 'EM TEN Auto Troopers, including 5 more just ordered! XD
