Sky's vet visit went great today. She didn't get grumpy and snarl at anyone. Just two normal barks and after that she was okay. So relieved. We'll get the lab results back in a week or so. but damn $270 bill. Having a senior pet is stupid expensive.

Came across a furry in the wild today in the Walmart parking lot . I almost never see fandom folks in this area. It was most amusing. I hope I didn't surprise him too much ! lol.

Wish I'd noticed where his license tag was from, don't think he was local.

The hits just keep coming. 🙁 Redbubble has enacted another price hike / user fee so that its just not worth it to use their platform any more. I keep loosing income. Anyone else had good luck with other POD sites? Am going to look at Displate later too.

As is likely to happen, now that Sky is getting into her 'Senior Years' the vet bills come more often and exceptionally higher. I had to change vets because my old one retired. So I've had to go 'back' to one we've seen in the past. It's a great office but it's a good deal more expensive.

As are most of the others in town. If you've wanted a piece of original art from me, now's a great time to snatch some up. I've got my most recent Sekhemet art back up for auction so I can try to pay off my most recent vet bill of $350.

Sky is mostly okay at the moment, but arthritis is sneaking up on her, and she's having some thyroid issues, and some 'old dog bumps' that seem to thankfully be just cysts. But we are doing some blood work to see where we can do.

and air conditioning. Thank God! and thank the Linemen and other electrical grid employees who got my town back online.

That was definately not fun. My house had no damage, but there's a buncha tree litter that'll need cleaning up. A large portion of the town has power again tho there are still areas without.

Apparently a bunch of the high voltage power lines (those great big ones you'll see on the highway cutting swaths through the forests) got hit between here and the various power plants.

We were very fortunate we didn't get rain or flood events like other areas have.

I'll be getting commission stuff up and running asap!

My city got hit hard with winds that have taken down a lot of power lines. Our regular internet is also down. Internet via phone is very spotty. Im very sorry to those waiting on commissions. I will update asap when we have power again.
