The shark and the sergal are essentially the same person in personality, just put into separate canon settings.

The sergal may show up in Cyberian art, but at those instances it can be said that his presence is either non-canon with Cyberia or he isn't the same person as the shark; you know like a lookalike. This usually will happen in smut and fetish art, which isn't canon 95% of the time to begin with.

Just to clarify. and shill my setting

...just politely remind them that being swallowed would likely lead to suffering acid burns and suffocation, whichever comes first.

Cyberia is a country in the 23rd century, thriving in the absence of the American superpower.

I've been idly thinking on my setting/canon over many years. Only a couple weeks or so ago I figured I should put its details down for the public to read up on and potentially contribute to.

I'm not feelin' the sergal thing anymore. Not nearly as much as I used to.
The canon and community has changed a lot since ten years ago. I used to feel like a part of it, but now I simply don't. I don't identify with the changed sergal community nowadays, what with there being a marked increase in elitists, leading to the feeling that the species stifles creative freedom, and the canon I'm used to being changed so much.
Sergal just doesn't suit me anymore.

I am not getting rid of my sergal form nor ceasing getting art of him and things of that nature, but he's not going to be at the forefront anymore. My primary will now be a species that I'm a ton more free to get creative with, and less complained at about. I've already felt a large resurgence in satisfaction and pride in myself in the last couple weeks of me informing friends of the change.

It's come to my attention that a second artist I used to look up to had blocked me without even so much as a word of why they think I'm trash. Both of these blocks I had no knowledge of until I attempt to favorite one of their submissions, so I have no idea what I did and no idea how long I've been blocked for. Never have I shown either of these artists any rudeness, no impatience. This second one I even attempted to commission once and ended on a good note even though my offer wasn't taken.

So what happened to tolerance and acceptance wha? Wasn't that the whole, you know, progressive agenda that the world is supposed to be following? That's real hard to do when you just throw people away without neither informing them of what they did ""wrong"" or even trying to get to know them and why they think a certain way. Never, have I blocked someone just for having a different view than mine, unless they turn out to be attacking me personally, and if we come into contact, I converse with them, I don't dismiss and ignore what they have to say.

Don't be a coward, speak up and tell me what you think. It will lead to a better understanding, instead of letting the spiral continue down. If you do or have happened to shadowblock me, I hope ignoring what others have to say bites you in the ass someday.
