It's a bit tainted by current events, but I turned 37 today. I will try to live out of spite.

I don't have much to say other than rest in peace, and my condolences to his family. Honestly gone too soon.

Hopefully 2024 will be a bit better.

May they be safe and full of good times for you.

I turn 36 today. I dunno, this year I'm really happy about it. It may be the fact I've had a decent enough job (in spite of current problems) to be able to take care of things I've needed to take care of, and the fact I came out to my parents this year, so that millstone has been off my neck after a decade. Also taking the plunge for depression medication helps. I'm okay with another year, and glad to be here, making art when I can.

...what do you want to see from me?

Hopefully we'll get out of what feels like a shitty loop of 2022 as far as the pandemic is concerned.

So, sorry in advance for the sudden drop of art. I've been sitting on this stuff all week and want to get it out with the finishing of this sketchbook. I'm pretty happy with how it came out.

And also, while it's a few hours out on my side of the world, Happy New Year. Or try to have one.

Turned 34 on Monday, and that shit snuck up on me. Given the covid situation, glad I made it to it mostly unscathed.

And FA's added a bunch of tags, including vehicle tags for anthros! So I can actually tag all my mecha work accordingly. They also added kangaroo rats and other rodents, so I can properly tag Miles in, too.

Yeah...sorry about flooding your inboxes with stuff. I've had a backlog of adopts and commissioned artwork, and now with Inktober being done, I've got to post that and the rest of my backlog. Thankfully Postybirb makes it easy to slow things down after this.

So yeah. It's been a...different few months. With this shitshow of an election and now Inauguration, I've been trying to keep myself sane. Going to Europe for a couple weeks with my girlfriend did help, but coming back just brought stress back. Went and marched, and protested, and will keep doing what I can to push back against this insanity.

I've drawn here and there, and I've been sitting on this comic request. Slowly piecing it together. I've also got the rest of last year's Inktober to submit as well. So today's gonna be an art dump, of my own stuff, and of commissions, as well.

So, I started doing Inktober, and was making good progress, but this whole month has been all sorts of frustrating. Between my job being even more of a pain in the ass than usual, and getting stuck studying for this Engineering In Training Certification. And then my apartment got flooded because the idiots upstairs clogged their toilets, and I had to move out for a few days to a hotel while it got fixed. Thankfully we don't have to pay for it, but still.

This whole week has been incredibly tiring. I've not got any art done, and I'm still sitting on art I need to submit. This weekend, hopefully. There have been a few glimmers of hope; I've realized I need to use darker pencils to scan stuff in, that I can finish 5 sketches over part of a day, and that the therapy I'm taking is making a breakthrough.

Still taking requests and so on.
