End of October updates

Now to more important stuff. My book Tales of Brehnna is finally done and what's left is to find a publisher who can help me get it out there.
I really hope the reception will be good and that it will influence and inspire people.
That's actually something I wish my work will do whether it's Tales of Brehnna or Magus Doe, the third issue of that comic will be next up on my work plate.
If you wonder why I'm doing less fetish art, then that's why.
Not gonna claim that I'm too mature for them, it's just that I think it's fun to work on Tales of Brehnna and Magus Doe and that I'd rather focus on them.
(It may be confusing for those who don't read journals for some reason)
And no, I have no plans on making Magus Doe free, a copy only costs €2 (which is $2,30), and don't you think it's fair that I ask for something in return for the hard work I put into them?

October updates
General | Posted 6 years agoIt's been a while since I last made a journal (which may be one of the reasons why nobody reads them), but I like to tell you all how it goes for me when it comes to my projects.
I'm getting closer to finishing my fantasy book Tales of Brehnna, it's just a few more illustrations I need to draw and when it's done so will I look for a publisher who can help me get it around.
From my experience so does it seem like publishing things on my own doesn't always work, and I have no idea if it's because I'm bad at advertising myself or because people are stingy even though my comics only costs €2 each.
Or it's because people don't care about me making super hero stories and only wants me to draw fetish stuff.
Don't get me wrong, it is fun drawing fetish stuff, but I sure wish people would appreciate the things I do that aren't some kind of fetish.
But speaking of fetishes, when I'm done with the book so will I have more time for commissions, or I will use the time to finish issue three of Magical Guardian Magus Doe, and thinking about it so should I probably draw more of her outside the comics because she's cool (and cute).

General | Posted 6 years agoFor those who are wondering (or cares) so am I fine at the moment, there may be certain uncertainties regarding the future, but I'm fine.
I'm getting closer to finishing my book Tales of Brehnna, there's just some illustrations for it that I need to get done before I can get it to a publisher, since I want to make sure that people will be reading it.

Still trying to survive
General | Posted 6 years agoHi there, it's been a while since my last journal, but here we are.
I'm still hoping that my financial situation will be resolved, even though there's only a month left...
I just want to get some money to pay my bills and repay my parents who has stood for the bills and rent the last few months since I don't want to be more in dept to them.
When it comes to commissions so do I wonder if my prices are good or if I need to raise them a bit, but what do you all think about it?
Otherwise so have I been writing my book "Tales of Brehhna", and there's a chance that I will done with the writing part this month, then I will do the illustrations for it, and after that so will I get a publisher to help me get the book sold (and maybe even proof read and make sure it will be as good as possible). The book will be first released in Swedish, but I hope me and the publisher can make it so that it can be released in English as well so that my friends outside of Sweden will be able to read it too.
And today (2019-08-23) at 8:00pm so will I be streaming Dragon Quest XI over at Twitch. The Switch may only have it as a demo so far, but considering how it can take ten hours to be done with it, and that you can continue what you started there in the full game so do I think it's a good thing to play.
Donations are optional, but would still be nice if you did.
Will make another announcement about the stream when the time comes.
I have also tried to work on the third issue of Magus Doe again (which I'm worried that no one will buy since I'm uncertain how much you actually care about the characters and stories I make).

Some new exciting projects!

That's right, a book. What's it about? You remember that tabletop RPG game I tried to make? https://www.deviantart.com/terrorto.....indoun-Project
Maybe you don't, especially any of my new followers.
To get myself short so did I decide to put the meta story of that game into a book since I have been sitting with it for a while.
This will also mean that I will be making new drawings for it, some of those will be in the book itself.
This means that other drawings will have to be on the sideline until I finish this book and get it to a publisher.
I'm also making a new video that will be up on Youtube, though this one's not about my book (but it will have something to do with tabletop RPGs), so that's even more work on my platter.
I hope I will be successful with these projects of mine.

Regarding Pokémon Sword & Shield
General | Posted 6 years agoIt has been goin on for a while and I feel like I need to say it, and I know this might be controversial for some, but Pokémon fans and certain gamers sure are entitled.
They have been attacking Game Freak because the new games wouldn't have ALL 700+ Pokémon in it.
I have seen that some think the game is gonna be bad because of a single tree not looking good, even though from what I have seen so is most of the games looking pretty good.
I have been studying game design for two years (and sadly have no games to show), and I know full well how hard and stressful it is making a game.
Just imagining porting 700+ Pokémon models, the human models and environments to a Switch cartridge (which lets be honest doesn't have that much room).
Sometimes you have to make sacrifices to ensure that a game will arrive in time to avoid crunch periods.
Wouldn't those years studying as a game designer make me more critical of games?
To be honest so does it feel like I'm a lot forgiving towards them because of my studies.
Ok, I may be critical to older games in a franchise because the latter games are so much better, with all the later versions of Pokémon being better than the original generation (though I will agree that it's a bummer how Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee has less content than Fire Red and Leaf Green, and I didn't enjoy the demo).
I have also heard that Yo-kai Watch 4 for the Switch also doesn't have all the yokais in the game with the rest coming up in an update, and the ammount of yokais in that game are less than Pokémon available in Sword and Shield but people are still not complaining about Yo-kai Watch (I guess the fans are just a lot kinder).
I have heard that a National Dex may be included in an update later, but I'm worried that it will give out the wrong signals and make people think it's okay to harrass and attack developers.
Sure, I think it may be nice to have a National Dex, but often so are the National Dex something you get near end game or after beating the game the first time as a bonus and doesn't affect the core game that much.
With how many Pokémon fans that seems to be entitled so do I feel afraid of being one, but I got to keep myself strong and show that I'm not bad, because I'm sure that I will be enjoying Sword (the version I'm getting) no matter what.
What do you all think?

With that out of the way so am I trying to work on finishing issue three of Magical Guardian Magus Doe this month (though I still wonder if my watchers even cares about it since there are no fetishes in it, or maybe it's the price that doesn't sit right), and then I will be working on the script for issue 4.
I don't know how many issues there will be of it, but since I don't want to get too ambitious with it so do I guess that I will do three-four more issues after that one, but we'll see.

April updates
General | Posted 6 years agoI would have done this earlier, but I didn't have time and not really much to say.
But now I can say that I finished the script for issue three of Magical Guardian Magus Doe and I'm currently working on all the pages.
Not sure if I will get it all finished this month or the month after, but in the meantime so can you buy the previous two issues of my comic at my Gumroad store: https://gumroad.com/jackalland
Seriously, it would help me a lot if you bought them, but more importantly that you like them.
Then in two weeks so will Avengers End Game come to cinemas world wide, and I can't helo but be excited for it, and can't wait for Spider-man: Homecoming to come out later and build up to something new.
I haven't seen Captain Marvel yet, but I hope it will at least be watchable, and don't worry, if I would have any complaints for the movie so will it be reasonable.
I mean, people have no right saying a movie starring a female super hero is too political if they're ok with Captain America's movies which were all political thrillers in some ways.
Back to positive stuff. My birthday is on the 1st of May, just so you know.
I don't really wish for anything special, I still have to wait exactly one week after it for Detective Pikachu to come out on cinema (yes, the cinemas in Sweden decided to premiere the movie two days before the rest of the world).

But now I can say that I finished the script for issue three of Magical Guardian Magus Doe and I'm currently working on all the pages.

Seriously, it would help me a lot if you bought them, but more importantly that you like them.
Then in two weeks so will Avengers End Game come to cinemas world wide, and I can't helo but be excited for it, and can't wait for Spider-man: Homecoming to come out later and build up to something new.
I haven't seen Captain Marvel yet, but I hope it will at least be watchable, and don't worry, if I would have any complaints for the movie so will it be reasonable.
I mean, people have no right saying a movie starring a female super hero is too political if they're ok with Captain America's movies which were all political thrillers in some ways.
Back to positive stuff. My birthday is on the 1st of May, just so you know.
I don't really wish for anything special, I still have to wait exactly one week after it for Detective Pikachu to come out on cinema (yes, the cinemas in Sweden decided to premiere the movie two days before the rest of the world).

March updates
General | Posted 7 years agoI came home from Nordic Fuzzcon yesterday, and I had a really nice time there, even though I was too shy to actually talk with people that weren't my hotel roommates or part of the RPG sessions I attended and ran.
But it was fun waving at other fursuiters and interacting with them with pets and hugs (please, don't you ever dare hug me outside a convention as I'm not actually a hugger).
If I will attend Nordic Fuzzcon next year so will am I glad to know that it will be in Malmö instead of Stockholm, which means that it will be easier and will take a shorter time to get there.
Now that's over so do I need to work on certain stuff like new drawings and continue on issue three of Magus Doe. I'm still in the scripting phase but it's hard to write down what I want.
Maybe if I got some motivation so can I work on it more seriously (motivation includes saying positive things about the current issues of Magus Doe).
And you know... after being at a convention so would it be good to have some money on me, so I have to point out that I'm accepting commissions.

Away to Nordic Fuzzcon
General | Posted 7 years agoTomorrow on wednesday the 27 February so will I take off to Nordic Fuzzcon in Stockholm and I will be there from wednesday to sunday, which means I will be away for five days.
It also means that I won't be active here during these days (even less active than I'm usually am in certain places), there's no need to worry about anything.
I'm sorry for no uploading much art lately, but I have been working on my suit for the convention. You don't actually need a fursuit to go at a furry convention, but I thought it would be fun to have one.
It did give me some experience on how to make one at least, and I have my respect to anyone who makes fursuits, especially whole suits because I can only imagine how much work and time is being put into it.

February updates
General | Posted 7 years agoA month has passed and I have been thinking about attempting making videos again since I don't want my channel to be dead. It was only recently that I uploaded videos to my second channel, which is for stream archival purposes.
Ever since Youtube demonitized my videos because I didn't have enough views so have I felt demotivated to make any. I know I should only make videos if I like doing them and not for getting views, but it doesn't feel satisfying if nobody watches it.
So when will those videos be out? I don't know, but I hope they will be done this year at least
In twenty days so will I be away at Nordic Fuzzcon 2019 from the 27th February to the 3rd March, so there's a chance I won't be looking at my art galleries during these days as I will be walking around, visiting the dealers den, play some games, DM for some TRPGs, one of them being Ironclaw and the other Dungeons & Dragons 5e.
Oh and I will also be meeting other people, it will be nice to know my roommates I'm sharing hotel room with. ^^
I have also been making my own suit since I didn't order one in time for one to be done before February.
I will be posting pics of the finished costume, though it will just be the head since I don't trust myself to make a fullblown suit.

I'm just excited about it. ^w^

I would really like feedback on the things I do, and I know it may seem hypocritical since I don't always comment on everything I fave, but comments do help getting to know what people like about my drawings, comics, and other stuff that I make.
It sometimes feels like people doesn't care enough, even though I know these kinds of feelings are ridicilous.
Anyway, I hope you will be looking into my server and also read my comics. I have worked a lot on them and hope that you will like them.

The new year is here

In this new year so will I attempt to make improvements on my works, maybe even get help with my stuff too.
I'm trying to make changes, like rebooting my Discord server (which means I may delete and then make a new one), I will make sure to announce it as soon as I can.
It will probably be with the help of an image since I'm not sure how many even reads journals.
Next month is Nordic Fuzzcon 2019 and I'm excited to attend there.
I will be there during all five main days where I will most probably be walking around, playing games with new people, being the GM for one shot RPG sessions (and probably be a player too in some), and of course take pics of some cute and cool furs. :3
... I just hope I somehow will get my own suit done in time.
As of right now so am I not sure what else to say, I just hope you all who had a bad time in 2018 will have it much better this year.
I guess having more people supporting me on Patreon would be nice too, but I'm not gonna force anyone.

Holiday greeting
General | Posted 7 years agoHow was your holiday? I had a nice time, though I wouldn't say my gifts were much to talk about, mostly gift cards and also some books and comics.
But I also got lots of money (which is always surprising when that happens) which will make it easier to get a train for Stockholm in February for Nordic Fuzzcon.
I still don't know if my roommates have any kinds of profiles anywhere and I feel awkward for not asking. ^^;
The new year is coming soon and I hope I will get better in the next year.

D&December sale 2018 and other stuffs

It's December again which means it's time for D&December, a good time to draw art works inspired by Dungeons and Dragons (or Pathfinder, Ironclaw or other fantasy RPGs).
Not sure how many I will make considering the current backload of personal art, but I can make sure that there will be some, because I'm having a sale!
That's right, as long as your commission has something to do with Dungeons and Dragons (or fantasy in general, because most fantasy franchises probably have a tabletop RPG) so will you get 50% off from the normal price. That's half what a commission usually costs!
To explain it further so can your character be any race or class from the game or monster even. Maybe you actually play any of those games and want your player character drawn.

I will be there on the main days sharing a room in the second hotel with Ender, CoraDragonHeart, and Dante (I forgot to ask if they got any profiles anywhere) three other furs from different parts of Sweden.
I have gone to conventions before, but I haven't gone to a furry convention and that makes me really excited.
If things goes right so will you see a pretty blue haired jackal there.
...does anyone know of any good fursuit maker that can make me a suit before February?
One more thing! Super Smash Bros Ultimate will come out on December 7th, which is really soon (at least at the time I'm writing this) and I'm excited to play it. Expect me to stream it that day. ;3

Taking a break from fetish art
General | Posted 7 years agoI have been thinking about it, but I have decided to take a break from fetish art.
It doesn't mean I'm retiring from it as I may accept commissions that's fetish related. It's just that I would really like to make sure I get to work as much as I can on my Magus Doe comic (I should have been done with it last month, or the month before that even, but there's other factors for that).
I understand if many of my watchers are disappointed by my break, but I hope you all understand that it's important to me, because like I have said previously so is Magus Doe something I want to make into a TV series and the start of a franchise.
