I can't think of a good title
General | Posted 8 years agoI just want to thank everyone for trying to cheer me up when my cat Nala passed away. I really appreciated it. I still miss her though.
Yes, I only have one cat left, and I am worried of leaving her all alone at home. But I don't feel like I could buy a new pet just like that. :(
I haven't been mentioning commissions in a while because I was afraid people would think I'm one of those kinds of assholes who use the death of a family member or pet to get lots of attention on Youtube only to ask for likes. And I'm not a monster.
I also don't want you to commission me out of pity either (even if it seems like I did so in the past, but trust me, that wasn't the case), but because you may probably like my work and want to support me.
Of course it would be good to have enough money to pay for food and bills, and there's nothing wrong with earning money by doing something you like and think is fun (and the fact that I don't have an actual job).

I miss my cat
General | Posted 9 years agoR.I.P. Nala, my sweet and adorable cat. It came like a shock when I took her to the vet. She was barely moving and had a serious disease which made them decide that the best decision would be to put her to sleep.
As her owner so was it really hard for me to accept that there wasn’t a way to cure her as even an operation could make things worse for her.
So here I am still crying over her departure from the living.
I may still have one cat left (Sara) who’s now gonna be all for herself whenever I go out. Though I have no idea how exactly she feels or will feel now that her sister is gone.

It's about time I get a new computer
General | Posted 9 years agoI played Overwatch recently and after two game where I lost so did I in the next game do good. In fact, really good. And just as my team was close to finish so did my old stupid computer decide that "duhuh, I'm a piece of crap who can't handle this game at medium settings. I'm just gonna restart myself so I won't explode. Durrr!"
Seriously computer, heck you. >.<
Did I say my computer is old? I have had the same computer for five years (almost six), so I think it might be time for a new and much better one. A computer that won't have any trouble playing games at the highest settings (at least current ones). A new computer may also make my 'jobs' easier, so there's that too. (I may not have to worry about any crashes if I stream either)
So yeah, that will be my main priority to save for a new computer. Commissions will help out a lot too. I mean, it might take a long time (it might even take a year or more before I can get one) but it should be worth it.
Though luckily so don't I have to buy a new computer screen as I already bought my latest and current one last year.

There's probably a chance that I will get internet as soon as I connect the internet cables to the jack and choose an internet provider. But don't get your hopes too high.

General | Posted 9 years agoNintendo Switch is out really soon and it feels unbelievable. Anyway, I'd just like to remind people that they can still commission me before it's release.
Funny thing here is that Gamestop are actually gonna open store 11pm on the 2nd of March so that they can sell Nintendo Switch at midnight. They're also gonna have quizzes and other fun things. I'll probably sacrifice the time I could have for sleep to buy it then. XD
And also, I will move out to a new apartment next week too. So I dunno if I have the time to play on my Switch before the move...
Anyway, how are you all doing?

A regular update

I did preorder a Wii U at Gamestop with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (though I probably should have preorered Super Bomberman R too just to show Konami that people are interested in console games and not freaking Pachinko machines).
I'm also editing the finale of my Let's Play of Wario Land the Shake Dimension (or Shake It for the Yanks out there), and next week, a new series of Let's Plays will start (I'm even gonna have a teaser for it at the end of the finale). Though I do wonder sometimes if I should do a review instead.
Eh, I could probably do that when I'm done with it.
There's nothing more to talk about at the moment. Except one last thing. I may have said that you shouldn't feel pressured into commissioning me, but I would still be thankful if you did.

General | Posted 9 years agoI'm stoked for Nintendo Switch. I mean, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is released at the same time as Switch. Which btw looks great.

Really the last journal of the year
General | Posted 9 years agoIt's the last day of 2016, so I may do another journal entry.
I really hope that 2017 will be a better year, but you have to make it a better year. I know it may not be easy, but I believe in you. :)
So I'm currently working more on more pages of my Patreon exclusive comic "Sweden Tour" (support me not to support me financially, but so that I can make cooler stuffs), and also on reference sheets for my characters. Which also means that I will put more of a backstory for characters I feel like they could need some more of.
So what can I personally expect of next year? The new Nintendo Switch presentation will be in just about two weeks, so I'm excited to see what games they will offer, and I hope the general presentation will be good. As good as PSX was this month.
I also hope that I will have saved enough money to afford going to Disney Land Paris next year too.
One last thing. This is your last chance to take part of my holiday sale on commissions. I hope you won't miss your chance. ;)

Proabably the last journal of the year
General | Posted 9 years agoThe holidays are coming even closer, heck Christmas and Hanukkah is next week (depending on where you live so do you celebrate Christmas on either the 24th or the 25th), while people who celebrates Kwanza has to wait the week after.
I could say a lot of things, but I want to keep it brief. I sincerely hope that 2017 will be a better year.
Even I have been annoyed at the direction this year went. Not sure if this year really will be one year people regrets ever happened, but it's pretty close.
So for my projects. I can't believe that I haven't even started on the next page of my Patreon comic, which is a shame. On the other hand so am I working on a video, a countdown to be more exact. What will it be off? You'll have to see.
Other than that so is my holiday sale still going until the end of the year.

Something I need to tell you
General | Posted 9 years agoIf you're adding me to your Skype/Discord contacts only for roleplaying (not even any small talk), then sorry to tell you but I'm not going to roleplay with you.
I mostly role play with people I know and can't find the time/motivation to rp with strangers. And I'm especially sorry for those who want to rp because they actually like what I'm doing.
Though I'm not afraid to role play with strangers, I mean there will be a gaming store opening in my city tomorrow and you can play board games and role playing games there from pictures I have seen from their site. So yeah, I may role play with people that may be there if my ordinary role playing group isn't available.
Now that I think about it, I would like to know a bit about you if we're going to rp with each others. I mean, it would be easier to rp if we both knows what our interests are. It might take a while though.
My point being, I don't do random rps.

General | Posted 9 years agoHappy holidays everybody. I did several sketches as part of Pokémonth last month that I posted on my Patreon. And it was fun, even if I did miss out on some days (two of those was due to playing Pokémon Moon). I do wonder if I should fill in some lines and colours to the best sketches I made, but I'm not sure which one to choose. Maybe you can help, or don't, it doesn't matter that much (besides, I need time to script the next page of Sweden Tour).
I also need to buy gifts for people, but thankfully so don't I need to buy anything expensive which is good, because I'm trying to save money for Disneyland Paris. And saving money is hard enough as it is. ;_;

General | Posted 9 years agoI could need some money now to buy food, though I'm not sure if I should be doing any YCH thingies. At least I will not do an auction and instead I would make it so that you're paying as if you paid for a regular commission. Would that be better?

General | Posted 9 years agoMy Halloween sale ends in two days, so Monday will be the last day you can get these kinds of offers. Will I go any more kind of sales? Hmm, I'll probably do a Christmas sale when it's December and then I have no idea if I'll do another kind of sale.

Pokémonth is a go!
General | Posted 9 years agoI have thought of doing something special for this month of November, Pokémonth. I did say what it's about in the first submission of it on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/posts/pokem.....-day-1-7139110 (don't worry, Pokémonth sketches will be free for anyone to see (though backing me on Patreon would still be helpful), but I will say it here if you're too lazy to click the link. =P
I may have tried some self proclaimed challenges in the past only to fail them or forget about them, but this time I hope I will not fail.
So during the month of November so will I make a sketch of one Pokémon because what better time to do it than the month when Pokémon Sun/Moon Versions gets released.
Don't expect any new Pokémon since I have no I idea about them (except for the starters, Yungoos, Pikipek, Rockruff, and the dragon Pokémon and its evolution from the demo which I forgot the names of (awkwardly enough)), except I will actually draw some of the new ones after I get Moon.

Oh, it's only a suggestion, but it would be cool to see others draw lots of Pokémon drawings this month. You can use the #Pokémonth if you want, but if it's of any of the new Pokémon in Sun/Moon so would I recommend you to put a spoiler tag on it. But the important thing though it that you all will have fun.
And yes, I know that I got the name Pokémonth from RabbidLuigi, please don't hold that against me. XD
I may have tried some self proclaimed challenges in the past only to fail them or forget about them, but this time I hope I will not fail.
So during the month of November so will I make a sketch of one Pokémon because what better time to do it than the month when Pokémon Sun/Moon Versions gets released.
Don't expect any new Pokémon since I have no I idea about them (except for the starters, Yungoos, Pikipek, Rockruff, and the dragon Pokémon and its evolution from the demo which I forgot the names of (awkwardly enough)), except I will actually draw some of the new ones after I get Moon.

General | Posted 9 years agoToday's Halloween so what do you have planned for today? I am going to have a party with my friends where we play Call of Cthulhu and watch some scary movie/s (unsure if we'll see more than one). Sadly since I didn't have enough money so couldn't I make a cool costume for the occasion, because I would love to dress up as a werewolf or as an animatronic from FNAF (either Foxy, Toy Bonnie, Spring Trap, or Funtime Foxy).
I hope you will have a safe Halloween too and if you're Trick or Treating (which may not be happening due to that stupid clown thing) make sure to go as a group, and even if you think you're too old for it so could it still be a good idea to make sure that younger siblings and other children will go out during the night safely.
And before I leave so do I just want to say that my Halloween sale is not ending today but is continuing until the 7th of November, yes I'm that crazy to keep this sale going, so please don't miss your chance!

General | Posted 9 years agoI can't believe it took me this long to talk about it, but Nintendo revealed their newest console the Nintendo Switch, which formerly went under the project title NX.

It's not only a stationary console, but a portable as well, which means that it will replace both the Wii U and the 3DS when it comes out in March next year. I'm excited for it, but I'm cautious too because I have no idea what games will be released on launch day, so I have no idea if I will buy it day 1 or wait later to buy it.
It also got a lot of support from Bethseda, Arc Systems, Capcom, EA, Platinum, Konami (no wait, f*** Konami!), and others.
I do hopoe there will be lots of good games for the system. ^^

Why I haven't done any tributes
General | Posted 9 years agoJust watched Did You Know Gaming's video on Iwata and not only did it remind me of how we lost a wonderful man, but I also remembered that someone asked me if I would do some kind of tribute for him. And that question was also how I found out that he passed away.
I also saw a video by Marzgurl yesterday where she talked about Justin "Jew Wario" Carmical and his FamiKamen Rider form, who was gaming based, and how he would have probably been happy that the current Kamen Rider show is gaming based.
And let's not forget all the wonderful celebrities and other good people who passed away lately.
I didn't make any tributes to anyone because quite frankly (I know it may sound bad) so am I not that good of an artist to properly pull out my emotions and what I felt for all of them. Yes that's my reason, I can't make proper respectful tributes to people.
Though I did make a one off LP of Omikron: The Soul Nomad in honour of David Bowie, because he worked on the game and also starred in it. But I think SquareEnix did a better job of honouring him by giving out the game for free.
So while I don't make any tributes so do I still miss all those people a lot, and it feels like the world can only get worse sometimes.

Sun and Moon updates
General | Posted 9 years agoWell after months of Pokémon news so have probably a lot of you thought of their Pokémon teams for the new game, and I have also thought about it.
My starter will be Litten, and the others will be Alola Raichu and Alola Sandslash or Ninetails. Not sure if I will go with Pikpek and Yungoos. Other than that so do I have no idea.
Rockruff is pretty cute, so maybe I could have it in my team.

That's because I have been avoiding any spoilers regarding Sun and Moon. Which means new Pokémon too!
I even left twitter and tumblr temporarily just so I wouldn't have to fight to not see spoilers. Why can't people tag their spoilers?
I also removes new artwork that features new Pokémon from my notifications and not give them any proper look (it's easier on da because you don't see any previews of others uploaded pictures in your notifications).
Yup that means that I have no idea about what the recently revealed starter evolutions looks like (or I forcibly forgot them).
Though I know two friends who have their avatars dressed as Rockruffs because of the Halloween month, even though one of them is red and a bit different looking. What do you mean they're evolutions? No don't show any proof! F**k you!
I guess I look petty now, it's just that with the information era we live in so is it kind of hard to be surprised by anything now. So yes I am petty, but don't let this rant of mine stop you from enjoying and draw any new Pokémon you may like.
